Hotel Carol

Very friendly staff, and cozy rooms. The neighborhood had a great selection of all different kinds of food, where The hotels resturant were delicious too.

There isn’t aircondition in The rooms unfortunately, but only a fan. And with that on, the room was still very hot. But we also went in august, so when off the summer season, that shouldn’t be a problem. The hotel is also a little far from the city, we took the tram which took 30 minutes to centrum and costed 2,5€ both ways, but that worked great for us, and then we got to try the great food options in the area.

Wonderful breakfast, very friendly staff, fresh up corner with coffee and tea, very nice terrace to sit down, small library :) overall a very positive atmosphere of the hotel.

Softer matrasses on the beds - the double bed was split into two and since on laminate floors, not holding well together + there was space between them.... but the staff told me, that next time I should tell them and they will give me a different room with a different bed. So that is nice :) Maybe a coffee/tea on the room would be nice...but since it's downstairs, not much of an issue to get it there.

The bed is indeed very comfy, with nice clean sheets. Receptionists are sweet and helpful, though sometimes slow. Dog friendly place, and there are nice bars in the neighborhood, and convenient transportation. Good place to be for a short stay and good value for money.

There was no parking available even though I asked about it in advance. But we parked the car on the street and on weekends it turned out cheaper than in the hotel parking. The hummus bar, that serves breakfast, did not have hummus in it, and the hazelnuts were terribly bitter, which means they are expired or old. We had to pay fee for the dog, though it was not mentioned on the booking page.

Very convenient location, a few minutes walk to Ceskomoravska metro station, Harfa Galerie shopping centre and O2 Arena. Clean, spacious room, comfortable king size bed, electronic safe box and mini fridge in the room. Nice, modern bathroom, with instant hot water. Breakfast was really good and varied. I even got a breakfast box for the road on the last morning, because I checked out at 5 o'clock in the morning. The guys at the reception were very nice and helpful. Thanks guys for everything!

Nothing negative to say.

Pretty much everything you needed was here. The room sizes were absolutely massive - biggest I've seen in a while. The included breakfast had a large variety of choice and was also delicious. The rooms were immaculately clean. The list goes on.

If I had to nitpick one thing from the entire stay it would be the lack of air con. Although they have a powerful column fan in the room which worked great. Never felt the need for air con here at 25c, but I can imagine a 30c+ heatwave needing it.

The hotel is located a bit far from the center, but it can be easily reached by tram and metro. The breakfast was plentiful, and the bed was comfortable. The receptionists were friendly and helpful.

When we arrived, we were not given the right room. I also indicated that we were not given the one shown in the picture, but they solved the problem and we moved to the right room. But after that everything was fine.

Most of the staff members were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had a really good range of food types and the Hummus restaurant food was very good. Great location for the O2 Arena, Metro and tram transport. The use of a free safe was welcomed.

The pillow was awful (this matters when your over 50) it had hardly any filling in it. The bath towels were very small and sometimes we only had one between the two of us until we asked at reception for another one. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Everything was more than good, it was great! Great people, great breakfast, great place and great price! Definitely if I come back to Praha I know where to stay. Thanks all!!

Everything was good! Nothing bad, the only "bad" thing was in our first day it was super hot and there is no air conditioning, but there was a small fan that helped us, then the days were cooler and it was great.

Hotel room was very clean, cleaners spent ages making sure the rooms were thoroughly cleaned if we wanted, if we weren't having our room cleaned they always made sure to ask if we needed any towels or anything for our room. All staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, perfect distance to the 02 and trams, subways and bus stations

No air conditioning in the room, fan in the room wasn't enough to keep us cool during the night which led to a pretty uncomfortable sleep being too hot

Great location, lovely hotel, and restaurant staff.

They need better cooling mechanism during summer months. A small desk fan is not sufficient against the increasing hot summers. It is also not fair to guests to suffer through sleepless nights because it’s too warm. Also, the curtains ad blinds are very dirty. A thorough cleaning is a must. Even the flooring had a lot of dust accumulated.
