Whilst not within walking distance of the Old Town/centre this location was superb. About a 10 minute tram ride out of the city centre on the very popular No 22 tram (and one minute walk - get off at Jana Masaryka) or a 4 minute Green line Metro and 5 minute walk. But don't let that put you off - the area is the place to be in the evenings as there is plenty of excellent bars and places to eat within a few minutes walk of the Hotel. From the airport jump on the 119 bus outside the terminal and get off at the Metro and get off at Namesti Miru. 5 mins walk and you are there. So in regards to location was superb for me. The room itself? The Hotel is very modern - all the security is done by passcode which is given to you upon arrival. The room was spotless. Very modern and akin to a Travelodge room. Very comfy bed, clean sheets, pillow was huge but soft. All the stuff you want for a good night's sleep. Bathroom was modern and spotless too. Shower worked brilliantly - in fact the best I've used in a hotel room - hot and with loads of settings that worked! Towels were soft and clean. Staff on reception were really helpful and allowed me to leave my bag in reception on my last day.

A fridge would have been useful in the room or shared kitchen in the vestibule. I was in the room next to the stairs and in the morning I could hear people walking down them. But I am a light sleeper so probably wouldn't be a problem to most people.

- location: very nice quiet street, but still in the inner city. Namesti Miru is very close, with metro and some restaurants. Museum/Vaclavske namesti are also in a short walking distance - price - easy communication, they offer check in with a code, any time at night. I did not even meet the staff during my stay. - clean - the room was okay for the price, but nothing special. Beds were comfy, bathroom adequate - wifi was okay - the profits are funding a charity (Charitas) - all in all great place considering the price, i would stay here again

- little sound isolation between rooms on the 5th floor (lower floors have different room strucures, and also bigger rooms). Fortunately my neighbours were okay but you could hear everything they did in the bathroom. (Otherwise the room was quiet, the window overlooking a quiet inner garden. The street has also little traffic, its peaceful) - breakfast was offered only from 8am, not ideal for a business trip with early appointments, i could never eat it

The Hotel is located in one of the best areas of Prague, close to Metro Namesti Miru and all together in a quiet residential area with many cafes, restaurants and so on. The Hotel itself doesn't look like a real Hotel, its more an accomodation with rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable, especially the rooms with view to the yard are very quiet. The bed is comfortable, the shower also very clean. All together it was a great stay there (it was my 2nd time).

The only thing I really didn't like is the carpet in the room. I think there should be Laminat, its also easier to clean for the housekeeping. But thats all.

Located quite centrally, a short tram / metro+tram journey away from the station. Communications very efficient, I received the access code for both doors through Whatsapp. Essentially a contactless hotel, there was someone at reception but I didn't need anything from them. Room was clean, simple, a single bed, good bathroom with the essentials. Decent connections to the tram / metro for the airport. I would recommend, the price is very reasonable, too.

Very little to be critical of - be aware that if you have heavy cases, there are some steps before you reach the lift. Also, it is on a hill, so pushing the cases up to the tram after you check out can be hard work.

Well, I was invited to Prague for a few days and they booked a 4* hotel for me, which was quite nice, but far from 4*. I then added an extra night myself and booked a room in the Marianeum. The area there is very nice, but for me Vinohrady is my favorite district in general. My room was large (bigger than the 4* hotel room) and furnished in a friendlier way. Above all, the large bed was very inviting and the view of the inner courtyard was very comfortable. Also: there is a small kitchenette! Check In was very easy (got a code via Mail and Whatsapp, but the lady at the reception wanted to do everything again) and also the two ladies at the front desk were also very friendly und polite. Just that I had to show my ID also at the check out was a bit uncommon and confusing. In general, the Marianeum was and is highly recommended! I definitely would stay there again.

Well, to find cons here would be whining at a high level. IF I NEEDED to find something, I would be bothered by the carpet (which is a bit older - you could lay laminate flooring) and the (that's really annoying!!!) definitely too early check-out time in Prague. This "10:00" is a relic from earlier times (1980s ;-), but in 2023 it is no longer up to date.

I was looking for a simple budget hotel, and Marianeum exceed my expectations for the price. The location is on a quiet and peaceful street just few blocks away from the more busy areas. The rooms were small and simple, but just enough for my needs. Basic but good buffet breakfast was included. The staff was great and helped out with all requests. The backyard garden was a bit hidden, but once found it was a nice spot to chill out.

It would be nice to have a fridge in the room, or access to a fridge outside the room. As there is no AC, maybe a fan could be added for the hot summer days.

Comfortable bed and spacious, clean room. Staff is very friendly and recommended interesting places to visit around the city. Adequate choices for breakfast, with all sorts of fresh fruit, cereals, and cheeses. Tons of restaurants nearby to try out if you're in the mood for some fancy dinner.

For me, everything was perfect. As for the location, I love walking because it gives me the chance to discover new places and to observe the locals going about in their daily lives. But I can imagine that some travellers would rather stay closer to the center. Take note that you'd have to take the tram or metro to reach the city center (e.g., Charles Bridge), otherwise it's a 20 to 30-minute walk. But then again, Prague trams are lovely and getting on one is an experience in itself!

The WIFI was stable in the first floor. Staff were really helpful and attended my special request greatly. Access to the room and building by PIN code is a great feature since you don't have to carry a key with you. Location is very near from Jana Masarika tram station which is very convenient. Room space and desktop were great to work from the room. Overall, a great experience.

WIFI was not stable in the 5th floor. Minor thing: They forgot to put some towels in my room the first night. However, this was addressed almost immediately by the staff in the next day

Very clean and comfy room with Smart TV and attached bathroom. You can self checkin through pre-provided building and room code if arriving late which is a bonus. Tram/train/Grocery within 10mins walking distance. Martin at the reception was very friendly and provided helpful info about public transportation and places to visit. Very positive experience staying in hotel Marianeum and beautiful Prague.

If arriving by public transport for 1st time the hotel location may get a bit confusing to track
