I had booked the Hotel Marianeum already a few times and I actually really like this accommodation! Why: because - from my point of view - it is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Prague, not far (5 minutes) from Namesti Miru. There are a lot of small restaurants in this area where you don't constantly see tourists, as well as many 24/7 shops where you can buy something in the evening/night. Check-in is easy, the staff is very friendly, and there was a kitchenette with a microwave in front of my room on the first floor. My room faced the courtyard, was quiet, the bed was large and the bed linen and towels were very clean. Internet (WiFi) also works mostly. Conclusion: I like this accommodation and will definitely come back. Thank you!
What I really don't like (sorry!) is the old carpet. It's hoovered (so there's nothing lying around), but it really doesn't look nice and you don't want to walk on it. Maybe even the cheapest laminate would be a solution? This would also be an improvement for the room service because the floor would then be easier to clean. And: check-out time 10:00 is a bit 1980s :) 12:00 would be ideal, 11:00 a good compromise. But everything else is great!

Whilst not within walking distance of the Old Town/centre this location was superb. About a 10 minute tram ride out of the city centre on the very popular No 22 tram (and one minute walk - get off at Jana Masaryka) or a 4 minute Green line Metro and 5 minute walk. But don't let that put you off - the area is the place to be in the evenings as there is plenty of excellent bars and places to eat within a few minutes walk of the Hotel. From the airport jump on the 119 bus outside the terminal and get off at the Metro and get off at Namesti Miru. 5 mins walk and you are there. So in regards to location was superb for me. The room itself? The Hotel is very modern - all the security is done by passcode which is given to you upon arrival. The room was spotless. Very modern and akin to a Travelodge room. Very comfy bed, clean sheets, pillow was huge but soft. All the stuff you want for a good night's sleep. Bathroom was modern and spotless too. Shower worked brilliantly - in fact the best I've used in a hotel room - hot and with loads of settings that worked! Towels were soft and clean. Staff on reception were really helpful and allowed me to leave my bag in reception on my last day.
A fridge would have been useful in the room or shared kitchen in the vestibule. I was in the room next to the stairs and in the morning I could hear people walking down them. But I am a light sleeper so probably wouldn't be a problem to most people.

Location, circa 350 meters to metro station. Very close to a classic park 'Grebovka' and many pubs around makes this place my new favorite in Prague. Room and the bed together with pillow are according to my own experience a perfect match. Semi hard bed, with soft pillow is what one needs after a tiresome day in the city. Wi-Fi signal is super strong (room 126), and the quietness of the room overlooking the garden was a bonus for me, as I was on a business 4 day stay in Prague. Breakfast is minimalistic, but always fresh & tasty, while hotel staff are super friendly & very welcoming. All in all, this hotel that uses only codes without cards or old fashioned keys made my stay in Prague one that I will never forget. Dekujem!
There's nothing I can highlight, except perhaps cleaning ladies knocking on my door twice, despite having the sign on the doorknob ' do not disturb'

The room is exactly the size that I needed. It has most of the things that I wanted. The location is good and in a quiet neighborhood.
Some of the furniture was broken but not fixed before and during my stay (8 days). They are the dark curtains were off from the rails, the lamp can’t stand by itself, the broken TV remote controller. I was busy with my work so didn’t bother about those or tell the reception. However the derailed curtains should be quite obvious for room staff to notice.

The room was super cosy and clean. The shower works perfectly, so you can take a good bath. They have an elevator so you don’t have to worry about carrying your luggage. The location was great, there are many restaurants and shops around, felt safe at night and it is only a 8 minutes walk to the Namesti Miru station, so it’s easy to get anywhere. There is an excellent restaurant/bar on the street of the hotel, named “Plzeňská restaurace Máchova” that is definitely worth to check out. It was absolutely delicious, had both traditional Czech dishes and random dishes and it wasn’t pricey, much better than eating in the touristic area.
The only thing I didn’t like is that it was quite hot inside of the room, there was a small fan in the room, but it wasn’t enough.

Marianeum is situated in a really nice spot between Vinohrady and Stare Vrsovice, just off the tram and not far from the Namesti Miru metro stop. There's a really beautiful park a short walk away and there's a few restaurants, bars, and coffee stops nearby if you can't be bothered heading to the Old/New Town or even up into the main stretch of Vinohrady. The room I had was somewhat basic but everything delivered: the bed was comfortable, the blinds shut fully, the desk was spacious, there was storage space, there was no sound bleed from other rooms or the street below, the chair was comfortable enough to work from for a while, and the wi-fi held well for a 1hr meeting. The shower was also hot and powerful.
Two small issues: the shower door didn't fully shut. Also, when I checked in at 2pm there were many people waiting to do the same. Someone put the door code in (the same as my room code) and it struck me: it looks like everyone has the same code. Therefore I always had this nagging doubt about security when I was out and about. This could easily be bypassed by giving room cards or keys - this system just takes one dishonest person to test it. Nothing actually happened and my possessions were fine, I should point that out.

Excellent staff who were friendly and informative. The breakfast was decent for the price. The building itself isn't very glamorous but the actual rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is away from the busy touristy areas which was good for a peaceful time, but it was also easy to get around the city with a metro and plenty of trams nearby.
It was far too hot for the duvet so it would have been nice to have been provided with a sheet for cover. I'd also booked a room that had a garden view in the description which I didn't get. However, it didn't really matter about the view as it wouldn't have been visible from the upper floors and the street side was also quiet at night.

It was really good for the price. The rooms were clean the housekeeping was incredible and the staff were very helpful. We didn't get breakfast, but they offered it to us. We had to call a 24h hotline to troubleshoot some issues and the man was extremely helpful. They spoke English well and we didn't have any communication issue.
We had an issue with the code given to us. The code assigned to the rooms opened the building door after hours and when we got back the door wouldn't open. There was a 24h hotline and they managed to solve the issue. The man was very helpful and apologetic. Also, it was not the hotel's fault, but the people staying next door were extremely loud and weren't mindful that we were trying to sleep around midnight. They were slamming doors and talking extremely loudly. Please, people, be mindful of your surroundings.

I am very satisfied with the Hotel Marianeum. My train was delayed and I therefore arrived after the opening hours of the reception. The receptionist reacted rapidly to the message I sent to announce this delay and sent me informations to enable me to enter the hotel in the evening. The room with private bathroom was clean and quiet. Internet worked well. The hotel is situation at proximity of a tram stop and a metro station from which I could reach the old city center (and the University building where the congress took place) in less than15 minutes. The tram 22 and the metro pass very often and this until ca. midnight.

The property is located in quiet district in Prague, the included breakfast offered good and reasonable choice of food you can expect for a buffet breakfast. The wifi there is reasonably good.
No wonder what kind of public transport, bus, tram, and metro to go to the properties, you need to walk around 700m in some kind of cobble street. My luggage wheels were damaged when I went to property from nearby metro station. I cann't find any staff for help, the only staff I met was the lady who serve and cleaning lady for the breakfast.
