We stayed at Hotel Selsky Dvur for three nights and had a good overall experience. Since we traveled by car, the location worked well for us. We found affordable P+R parking (Skalka 1 and Skalka 2) about 7 minutes away by car, which made it easy to reach the city center by metro or tram. There is also bus station nearby, so I guess it is good location even if you travel without a car. The food at the hotel was excellent—breakfast had plenty of variety, and everything was delicious. The staff was friendly, especially the lady who took care of breakfast. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a large, clean bathroom. However, we were on the ground floor near the reception, so there was some noise from the hallway, and the view from our window was of the rear parking area. On the positive side, the free parking included with our reservation was convenient, and there was plenty of space available. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, especially if you’re traveling by car.

Comfortable hotell, suitable for a couple or family

there is no ventilation in the room which it’s a big problem for people who has issue with breathing such as Astma .. you will feel a bit dusty in the room but doesn’t mean the room is not clean, the room is clean! I think it’s only who has issue with breathing will feel that. Missing a kettle for heating water or making a cup of tea in the evening, missing also iron in the room but I got help from reception after asking. the employees are very kind but one of them at checking time was with a special humor which it was difficult to talk with or discuss about some issues I got with my reservation in wrong way so I had to talk to another employee after skift changing at reception.

Easy to find, simple to check-in. The hotel is situated in a huge public quarters, nice diamond encircled by the 6-8-storey-buildings. The staff speaks a fluent English, and very supportive. The restaurant offers local and general European meals, inspiring to taste all. The old city is about 40 minutes by tram (22 or 26), recommended to use the public transportations from-to hotel: easy and comfortable way of movements. The hotel offers 24hrs tickets for this reason for a manageable price of about 5EUR/pax. Driving in the downtown is a nightmare, trams are the best way to discover the Charles bridge and the old clock tower.

I have had backbone injuries so the bed was to smooth for me; others may enjoy that. Breakfast room is crowded between 0800-0830, recommended to avoid in that time window: tight place for having all you need, coffee and coldcuts: anyway, the BF room offers a lot of cousines, meats and fruits, great coffee and tea by your choices.

The beds were so comfortable I thought I was on a CLOUD. You get to pick from three different pillows, each different size and softness, and you just don't want to get up in the morning! There was also an overhead "rain" shower, and in case you haven't tried one yet, it's like the water gives you a nice warm hug. Very please, will definitely travel here again!

There was only one thing that wasn't great and that was the room smelled just a tiny little bit. It felt like it just needed the window opened for a few minutes, but it hasn't been done. It was very faint though, definitely not a dealbreaker.

The location allowed for quick access to public transport with a bus stop close outside. The hotel was well authentically presented and the room was nicely furnished. The breakfast selection was generally good including a mixture of local cuisine.

The breakfast on Monday morning was much more limited and the only "hot" food was was nearly cold!

Hotel Selsky Dvur is located in quiet, safe and green district of Prague. Very clean and big room (triple) and bathroom. Delicious and copious breakfast. Excellent staff ready to do extra mile. They were ready to open for us the hotel late at night despite our late arrival. Our dog was accepted without any problems. Parking (free) next to the hotel. All was great! We will come back for sure.

Cosy hotel in the Praga external district. Nice location with a real Lord-of-the-Rings appearance (all is wooden) and close to a quiet and nice park area. Anyway. The breakfast was EXTRAORDINARY, a variety rare to find. Please get it in your room fare.

I just recommend to staff NOT TO leave windows open too much since the park proximity, because we've found a giant hornet in the night -- probably it was hidden in the bathroom and entered before, we have closed windows once get in the room. Thankfully a heroic girl from the reception helped us to kick the hornet out of the window.

We loved the green area around the hotel, the free parking and the lovely restaurant with delicious food. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good, staff was helpful. Pet friendly. We loved our stay there.

Water pressure on the 2nd floor was terrible. It was very difficult to take a decent shower and water came very very thin and slowly from the tap as well. There were no towel hangers in the bathroom. Old stained carpet.

Rooms were a good size, beds were comfy, good food and beer in the restaurant, the pork knee was amazing... On arrival we found out that we were on the second floor and there wasn't an elevator but the stairs were easy to climb and the receptionist very kindly offered to help with our bags but it was fine we could easily manage

The restaurant staff on the first night seemed a bit miserable but our waiter on the second night was absolutely lovely...

The restaurant was really good. Limited menu but good quality. The room was very comfortable. Reception was cooperative and helpful. The breakfast was superb in variety and quality.

My fault, I guess, more research needed when booking. It's a 40-minute tram ride to the Prague central, and really nothing of interest in the local area of the hotel. Perhaps best for car owners / hirers.
