The staff is helpful and courteous. My corner suite was spacious and comfortable, with huge TV in living room, smaller TV in bedroom. I had a view of the Hollywood Hills, could even see the Hollywood sign. Great location, a few blocks from CBS studios, The Original Farmer's Market/The Grove, and Canter's Delicatessen. Beverly Center and the Beverly Connection are nearby. Swinger's diner is on site and has good food, indoor and outdoor seating, stays open late, and offers take-out. Hotel's valet parking service is reasonably priced and convenient.

The huge rain shower was beautiful, but there was nowhere to put soap, shampoo, etc. except on the floor, and there were no grab bars. The bathroom window was up high in an alcove--hard to reach. Beverly Blvd traffic noise was loud, even with windows closed. Bedroom window latch was broken. I liked being able to open windows for fresh air but in future would use AC instead to block traffic noise.

This exceeded our expectations, especially with the reviews being very average. Our room was clean, clean pool, comfortable beds. There are a lot of reviews about the AC not working, and yes it did take a while for it to cool down but it did work fine through the night. For the location & price, this is perfect. We had an issue with the smoke detector in our room beeping & we did have to remind the front desk about it a couple of times but they were very nice and did take care of it day of.

Forcing to use valet was not ideal. (other than street parking)

I stay here at least one time per month. this is the second time I’ve found “ cleaning” issues the first was a dried crusty substance on the nightstand , this time were brown splashes on the bathroom ceiling ( easy for cleaning not to see) I mentioned both to the front desk

We liked the design of the hotel and room, very nice, overall and in regard to detail! The kids loved the pool. Also the restaurant next door was great! Location is really good.

The carpet war wet and did not really dry during our stay, probably due to the constant dripping of water from the air conditioning unit. We put towels underneath and told the hotel staff. Hope they fixed it for the next guests. The dripping sound was also a bit annoying as was the noise that some guests made during the first night, at the pool and later when gathering in front of the elevator, which happened to be in front of our room.

Location can’t be beat and it’s always clean.

We have stayed here many times over the past few years. It could use new lobby furniture, more pool lounge chairs and new carpet in the rooms.

We had a wonderful experience at the Beverly Laurel Hotel Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They even worked with us to change our booking date one time because of weather, and our daughter medical appointment change and we appreciated it a lot. Thank you! We highly recommend Beverly Laurel Hotel for anyone visiting downtown Los Angeles.  Of course we will continue using Beverly Laurel Hotel for our stays in LA.

Very cute style and decor - retro (in a good way) and recently renovated. Cute pool area, though we didn’t swim. Good location, easy to get Lyfts to different neighbourhoods, and could walk to some areas. Diner on the main floor was pretty good, and very convenient.

If you are booking the King Suite, be aware that there are only 2 of these rooms: room 215 is right above the diner and vibrates due to the kitchen ventilation system, which runs though the night until 3am. Luckily we got used to it, but at first it was pretty nauseating, and I could see this being a bigger issue for some people. They only have maid service on request which also meant no additional coffee pods over our stay; would be nice if they would stock enough in the room for the entire stay. I found it pretty pricey for how basic it was, but I guess that’s LA.

Location, decor.

There was some confusion about parking fees which I was not happy about as it made the place more expensive and would have factored into my decision making if I had known. To be clear for future guests, they charge a $25 parking fee.

Very clean, comfy and spacious. All rooms seem to have lovely view of the courtyard and you could also glimpse the Hollywood sign from our bathroom window. The front desk were generally helpful and the location was spot on - travelling around the rest of LA was very easy. Cute decor - simple but great value.

It was a little loud when suitcases/cleaning trollies were wheeled past the room at night/early in the morning. The coffee machine seemed overly complicated to use and the bathroom was looking a little tired.

The bedroom is large, the living room is spacious and so it the beautiful tiled shower. Heat and air work great. The restaurant downstairs has great comfort food.

It's still a great deal for the price, but it is beginning to show the wear and tear. The maintenance team left plyers, hardware and the bathroom sink drain unassembled on the counter... the blanket was shoved on a shelf in the closet...
