The hotel was very nice. It was the cleanest hotel I have stayed in but didn't smell like cleaning products. The beds were comfortable, the towels were very soft and not scratchy. The staff was friendly and helpful. They always spoke to us when we came through the lobby. We had an issue with our TV and the owner came to fix it. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast but the breads and bagels were always fresh and the coffee was great! With all the security cameras and inside doors, my mother and I felt completely safe. We will definitely stay here the next time we come back!

Our stay was too short!

The gentleman that checked us in was extremely helpful - had several recommendations for nearby activities, restaurants, general information about the hotel. We took half a day to travel to Cloudcroft, NM and it was totally worth it! I think he was the owner (?). He also offered to borrow a couple of sleds to use at the White Sands. The breakfast was standard Continental fare and worked for us. Room was by the highway and was worried about noise, but it was super quiet and the curtains covered the outdoor lights well.

At first, we came across a towel hung on a hook behind the bathroom door and were not sure about where we were staying. But everything else after that was quite pleasant. A little run down, showing its years.

Perhaps I just have low expectations for Super 8 but my wife and I were really happy with this location. The rooms and facilities were very clean and had all the amenities we needed The hotel is right on the "main drag" so easy access to what we would want to do in the area. The price was very reasonable.

The breakfast is free so often that means mininal -- and this was such a case. This was one was just a wee more than "continental" (waffle-maker, bagels/toast, yogurt, juice & coffee).

need to wait like 10min before someone appeared at the reception (3-4 times ringing the bell) - for this time it looked like there is no staff there next guest came and we waited together finally the receptionist came but she looked like surprised we want to check in (?) besides this all was really good

Breakfast area was very clean. The selection was good with plenty of food offered. The staff was very helpful and helped us feel at home.

The alarm clock in the bedroom was broken. The sink faucet in the bathroom needs repair. The paint ceiling in the bathroom was pealing. The freezer in the fridge needed defrosting

had been there before and stayed several times with my boyfriend and was great!

this time around the shower in my room did not work at all. it leaked all over from the connection and when I tried to adjust the shower head, it flipped over and the leak got worse I had to just shut off the water. I didn’t even have the option to have a bath cause there wasn’t a way to plug. disappointing and dissatisfied with that aspect.

Super 8 in Alamogordo did not disappoint. This place is our go-to when we visit New Mexico. The value is amazing. The owner is awesome, the place is clean & well-maintained, and the breakfast is great. If you are ever in Alamogordo, I highly recommend this hotel.

breakfast is okay. and service is REALLY nice. I change room twice bc one room has strange smell, but they change it and being nice to me.

The servicer isn't always in the counter. I trying to find her for 5min to check out in the morning.

Breakfast was great. I truly was glad to see the staff went the extra mile to accommodate those that came late for Breakfast. Breakfast was until 9 am, more people came in and the staff made sure they were able to have breakfast.

The room was small .

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. When we walked in, the lobby and the hallway smelled incredibly nice, and you felt like you were walking into some one’s home instead of the lobby of a motel, by the way it was decorated, and the atmosphere of the room. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, and we had plenty to eat and plenty to choose from. The manager was fabulous, and took care of any questions we had, offering tips and even help with the sledding at the White Sands that saved us a lot of money. He treated us like friends instead of customers, telling us his secret of how he kept the place smelling so nice and clean…It was obvious that the manager takes care of this motel like it was his own home, and my wife loved the tasteful plants everywhere inside and out. We would absolutely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay here at all!!!
