Perfect localisation in the city centre, 1 minute walk from bus stop on arrival from Billund Airport, walking distance to pedestrian zone, ARoS Museum, not far from the Den Gamle By Museum. Room, although pretty small, was well-designed and friendly, very clean. 25 minutes walk to Aarhus University, but if you are not keen on walking, the hotel is close to bus stops. Breakfast was very good. Staff is very kind. I will definitely return to this hotel if I ever have a chance to visit Aarhus again.

Coffee, tea and chocolate facilities in the lobby are nice but kettle in the room would be more handy.

At our initial entrance into the property we were greeted by the friendly Front Desk Staff. She was very welcoming and informed us of the perks included with our stay like the hot beverages, fruits and various snacks located at the lobby area. Our room and the hotel itself had a great deal of history which accounted for many of its architectural features. Breakfast was located at the Wine Cellar. The selection was amazing and the taste was an explosion of flavours that we appreciated and enjoyed. The location was central and we had shops, restaurants and key attractions nearby. Plus, the bed was very comfortable.

To be honest, we actually did not find anything that we found lacking with this property. But, perhaps, the only thing I could mention is the vintage elevator. It basically had a limit of 3 people per ride which could have been an issue if the people traffic was extensive. However, this did not become a problem. Many of the guests, if not all, were very fit and active so many chose to use the stairs! As for the elevator, it was actually quite unique and only added to the personality of the property!

This hotel, built 1932, has been well restored with some period features, including the lift. Conveniently situated opposite the station and at the entrance to the city centre. Free tea/coffee, fruit and cake is available all day long in a room beside reception, and this makes a useful stop-off point during a day's sightseeing. Very good buffet breakfast including some interesting Danish specialities. Very helpful and welcoming reception staff.

The bathroom pod in my room (309) was badly designed. The height of the shelf above the wash basin and the size of the wash basin meant that it was impossible to clean teeth without either hitting my head on the shelf or dribbling tooth wash all over the floor. The soap dispenser was directly above the unprotected toilet roll meaning that the toilet paper could be spoilt by drops of liquid soap.

All the staff were very warm and welcoming - from the front office team (day and night) to the ladies at the restaurant.The rooms are sound- proof, so you don't hear the noise from the road. The hotel is by the city centre and easily accessible to most of the tourist attractions. The breakfast is fantastic - a good range of food. The hotel also provides some snacks in the afternoon. Constant supply of tea and coffee in the lobby.

It was clean, the personal was very nice, the breakfast good, the central location

on the hall, the carpet had stains, iti should be changed, in the first room was noise, hot and in the bathroom there wasn t a hand shower so it s very difficult to make bath without getting the hair wet. we changed the room with another one with view on the inner yard and it was better, not so hot and noise. the coffee is not good. the snacks in the lobby were good

Breakfast buffet was impressive. Blackout curtains were very effective. We were on the 4th floor and kept a window cracked for cool air so we had some street noise. Parking lot was about 500 meters away from the hotel with plenty of available spaces. Elevator allowed 2 people with luggage at one time. Location was very convenient.

This hotel is in a central location to lots of places, including both the train station across the road and the bus stop a short 5 minute walk away…even with bulky baggage! There are lots of eateries around including Århus Street Food and various cuisines restaurants. Staff were also helpful with any questions I had.

The elevator is vintage style so is a bit cumbersome but that is hardly an issue.

I really liked the single person room, it was brilliant size, great shower and water pressure and the location was perfect. I enjoyed the 24 hour reception but cannot fault it for a visit to the city.

Would've liked a little more variety at the breakfast but that really is being fussy. The check in times were rather limited and I hit a panic as I was over the time but I rang and they were very accommodating.

The location is prefect, close to the train station (which is important if you take the shuttle bus from/to the airport) and just a short walk to most things there are to see in Aarhus. They had complimentary coffee and tea, and also cake in the evening. Breakfast was also nice, good selection of cheeses and I especially likes their pancakes (crepes). Overall it left a pleasant impression and there really was nothing to complain about.
