Enrique greeted us and cared for us warmly. We were only there for one night so we couldn't take more advantage of the offerings of this really cool, maze like old house. The water was hot, the bed was comfortable, and the decor classy. Most impressive place we stayed in Ecuador, with the best night's rest even though we were on the road. Close proximity to Mercado Mariscal as well, which we took advantage of. Definitely would return.

Internet didn't work, but we were only here for one night and didn't try to solve the problem. I'm sure there's a way.

Such a nice colonial house with remodeled facilities just next to Plaza Foch! The receptionists were extremely nice and attentive. Convenient and safe location even in the evening and easy to get Uber. Breakfast wasn't a big feast but was convenient and sufficient for me. The beddings were luxurious compared with other hostels I stayed in Quito. I have stayed at other hostels with much much worse conditions but even higher price in Quito so this hostel was such a pleasant surprise for me.

Wednesday to Saturday night the street karaoke could get busy (I didn't hear anything on Tuesday night). It was not that bothering for me and I just used ear plugs and slept well.

Location was ideal - I wanted somewhere safe where I could walk out to bars and restaurants of an evening and close to the buses into Old Town. Breakfast was lovely; fresh fruit, scrambled egg and toast. Being a Brit I took my own tea bags. I couldn't speak highly enough of the lads who run the place. They looked after me, pointing me in the safest directions and ensuring my uber drivers were genuine. Secure room to leave my luggage whilst I went to Galapagos and Mindo.

Bit of damp in the room but reminded me of my centuries old home in England! Stick to the main streets around Foch Plaza at night - whilst I didn't feel in danger at all it makes sense to lesten any potential risk.

The best part of the facility is the staff. Eduardo & Enrique are fantastic hosts. We booked a stay here on both ends of a trip to the Ecuador Amazon. On the first planned stay, there was an issue at the hotel prior to our arrival (a plumbing issue that was last minute, out of the hotels control, and could not be predicted), so we could not stay. However, they arranged for us to stay in a hotel next to them, and it was all sorted out for us (we did not have to do anything) and it worked out great! Enrique was there to greet us near midnight when we arrived and take us to the hotel. We were able to stay at the hotel on the back end of our trip and it was fantastic. Great location, safe, good breakfast, filtered drinking water available, as well as laundry services which we used. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Eduardo booked us a driver when we wanted to go to the Mitad del Mundo, and we ended up using that same driver to pick us up at 4:30am the next day to take us back to the airport, it worked out really well. We cannot say enough about the fantastic hospitality we received here. Highly recommend! A huge thank you to both Enrique and Eduardo!

Incredible location in an incredible country, great price, fantastic facilities, and most importantly of all, some of the friendliest and most amazing hotel staff I've ever encountered. Enrique and Eduardo will make you feel 100% at home. This is a super awesome gem of a hotel, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat the next time I'm in Quito!

The only thing I didn't like was that, being on the top floor, my room and the room next to me were connected through the ceiling. That meant that I could clearly hear everything happening in the next room, and conversely I'm sure they could hear everything happening in my room.

The building is very beautiful. The room we got is also amazing, very spacious and with big, comfortable bed. The location is also very nice, walking distance from the historic center. But most importantly, the staff is super nice and helpful. They organized an airport transfer for us and served us a delicious breakfast one hour earlier because we needed to leave early. I really recommend staying here!

There was a bit of mold in the bathroom ceiling.

The managers were excellent. very attentive and friendly. They made the difference in the quality of the experience. I had to leave in the early morning hours to catch at flight. They turned on the hot water at 2 am for me. Helped me with my luggage. Excellent service.

Located in an area that is not too safe after dark. Not the fault of the owners. During the day and early evening it is fine.

Casa Foch is a beautiful historical house - very well decorated and full of charm. Besides the house itself, we really liked our hosts, the two brothers who are super kind and friendly. Even after the check-out, they let us use the common area of the house and free storage room.

During the weekend, the street noise can get loud depending on the room you stay in.

Delicious breakfast, beautiful decoration inside of both room and hotel and really friendly staff! It s located near the Plaza Foch, around a bunch of restaurants and bars, very convenient for eating out!

The restaurants and bars get noisy at night, so if your sleeping is light, better get a pair of earplugs

We had a great stay in this beautiful historic building. The guys are extremely friendly and helped out with everything we needed. We even got tea before our day trip at 6.15 am. The room was big, comfortable, had a balcony and a nice blossoming tree in the front. We enjoyed breakfast and had good dinners in the restaurants around Plaza Foch and - although the many bars in the area - quiet nights.
