This is the fourth time I've stayed at Antinea, and I will stay again. This is a charming little hotel in a central, but quiet Mariscal location. Each room is different and charming. The suites are a good value. The bed liens are comfortable and warm. I appreciate the attentiveness of the staff including those who work late at night. The breakfast is tasty, with better than normal bread, coffee refills, eggs and fruit. Highly recommend for both families and solo women.

This is a great place to stay!

Very good location, within walking distances to restaurants and supermarkets. The streets are well lit. The place itself exceeding my expectations, it's an apartel rather than the usual hotel room. It has separate kitchenette, equipped with cooking implements and table wares; a seating room with a dining table; and an upstairs loft for a bedroom. There's also a smaller separate bedroom by the entrance door. The bed is comfy, towels well supplied. Several WiFi connections. Very clean. Reception is 24/7, gate is secure. Several public seating areas including patios and a 2nd floor courtyard. Breakfast is ample. The staff are very cordial and helpful.

This is our second stay at Hotel Antinea and it did not disappoint. The rooms are unique and beautifully styled in French provincial. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet with extra blankets for the cool weather. Veronica goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing. Her English is perfect for us gringos. She prepares a tasty wholesome breakfast to get you started for the day. The location is close to plaza foch with many restaurants and food outlets close by. The area is quiet compared to the chaos of the old town. Veonica organized our airport transfers which were reliable. We look forward to our third visit and highly recommend Hotel Antinea to other travellers.

Nothing all perfect

We had the junior suite and were given option of which to stay in. Lovely decor and huge space to stay in with separate part of room for bathroom and dressing area. Even put our flowers in a valse without us needing to ask. We saw hummingbirds in the tree next to the window. The manager was extremely helpful. Lovely breakfast. Excellent value for money and good location.

Being picky but pillows too big for myself, beds comfy but pillows made it not a good sleep. Recommend having some smaller pillow options and then would be perfect!

We received a free upgrade for the room which had direct access to a small garden whilst our children could access the same garden in the adjacent room. Both rooms were really spacious . The hotel has a romantic, pleasant atlosphere with agood breakfast and nice places to relax both inside and outside. At breakfast we were offered, eggs, fruit, youghurt, croissants, juice, coffee, tea etc. Various restaurants are close by. The old town can be reached by taxi (or Uber).

I loved my terrace overlooking the front courtyard, entrance, and the cute street below. I was surrounded by beautiful trees and lush vegetation with hummingbirds and mourning doves for company. My bed was very comfortable with fresh white cotton sheets. My room even had a kitchenette should iI wsh to make my own coffee or cook on a hotplate. I was taken care of exceptionally by the wonderful manager Veronica. This place is a gem, and I look forward to returning one day!

I had no problems staying at this charming hotel.

- very cosy, beautiful hotel. we really liked the design, everything is very comfortable and tasteful. - breakfast was simple but good - when we asked for coca tea to battle altitude sickness the hostess kindly organized it for us (even if she charged for it by cup, we were grateful for the service)

both our Uber drivers told us the area of the hotel is not very safe (in fact one of them was determined to wait until we were safe inside the hotel) - however from what I understand most parts of Quito are similar so it was ok for us

Absolutely beautiful little Hotel. Close to restaurants, market and walking distance to the Historic Centre one way and Park de Caroline the other. Veronica was extremely helpful in organising a driver to collect us from the airport and take us on a day trip to equatorial line and Otavalo & leather Markets. They also arranged laundry and stored our luggage while we did a trip into the Amazon. The night time staff were also very helpful. Breakfast of eggs, toast, croissants and juice was delicious. Tea and coffee also available. Comfortable beds and great shower pressure. Thank you for ensuring our stay in Quito was safe and thoroughly enjoyable.

Great boutique hotel with tons of different little rooms you can relax in and enjoy, nice balcony with hammocks, several courtyards and the decorations threw out were unique. 5 minutes from Plaza de Fosh the going out area but on quiet street with great restaurant across and very walkable to Park Carolina and La Florencia area. Highly recommended for a unique and comfortable experience. Also Veronica is extremely helpful with everything and she can schedule a PCR test service to come to the hotel.

Lovely small and characterful hotel, full of interesting french furnishings! The owners are an Ecuadorian/French couple. It's in a great location that felt safe with lots of restaurants within walking distance or a short Uber drive away. Plenty of hot water, and tea and coffee making facilities in the very large room. We returned here at the end of our tour of Ecuador because we liked it so much. Verónica spoke English and was really lovely and helpful.
