Superb location, right in the middle of Cairo. The hotel had been recommended by friends and lived up to expectations. An excellent breakfast was provided which included both Egyptian and Continental choices. All of the staff were extremely helpful. In particular I must mention Omar on reception who went out of his way to make us welcome and our stay comfortable and Reda who cleaned our room spotlessly and always with a smile. The room was large and comfortable, with a safe and good storage facilities. The mosaic floor of the shower was most welcome as it made for a reliably non-slip surface.

The shower went cold and hot for a few seconds every few minutes. Other than that I cannot fault the hotel.

the location was great, we had a junior suite which was massive and good views of the Nile and surrounding areas. staff were friendly and helpful. I read in some of the reviews that getting Ubers was difficult but we had no problem at all with this.

I know a lot of the reviews said it was noisy but tbh everywhere you stay in Cairo will be noisy with cars beeping. take some earplugs and it’s fine!

Hotel was very clean and save, modern rooms with proper comfort, breakfast pretty with variety of dishes and personnel super helpful.

Nothing, just to remind other travelers Cairo is a little crazy city once you step out the hotel lot of people will try to offer you any kind of things or ask food r something just don’t pay attention and continue, is very safe in that area.

This is our third time at Cleopatra Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is a plus in the center of the city few steps from the metro. Highly recommended compared to other 3 star hotels in the area.

Great location in downtown Cairo. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was great. Was very pleasantly surprised with the room. I'd recommend the hotel for sure.

This location is excellent for touring Cairo. It is in the center across from the old museum and very close walk or Uber ride to lots of the main site seeings in Cairo as well as shops and restaurants. Spacious rooms with large bathroom and shower. Consistent hot water. Clean. Modern hallways and elevator. Comfortable bed. We had booked a double room and kindly requested one full double bed and they fulfilled our request. Rooms are a bit old but still very nice and welcoming. Attached to a café called La poire downstairs which is convenient for coffee. Lots of local places around which make for a local experience.

Keep in mind because it is centrally located it will be noisy all day and night due to traffic. Our room was facing the back end and so it was not as noisy but if you get a room facing the street this may be bothersome for some. Weak wifi. Breakfast was only ok. Not an extensive amount of options, quality was not great and they did not refill the food when it ran out. Some staff downstairs at reception were smoking and not seated at desk to great clients. Not very professional. Location of hotel on the street makes it difficult for Uber and taxi pick up as traffic is always flowing. You will need to walk to a pick up site where the car can pull over.
