The Museum Plaza hostel is centrally located. Staff was nice. Breakfast served in our rooms was a treat. Due to a late night flight we were allowed to pay a day fee for use of the room which helped us a lot! Transport arranged by Museum Plaza worked like a charm and just outside there are loads of taxi's for shorter and longer rides. Metro stop is also on the square across from The Museum Plaza hostel.

The trafic noise from outside is horrendous. Luckily there was aircon in our room and we could keep windows and balcony door closed when sleeping.

The location was impeccable. It was super close to the bus station. The view from the room was amazing. You can see the national museum, ElTahrir square and all the beautiful hotel buildings. The room was small, quiet, and clean . All you need is there, but perhaps an international socket would be a good addition. The staff was hospitable and very friendly. The bed was comfy and clean. Towels were washed and clean, but perhaps a little worn out. AC was fully operational and the windows were sound and dust proof. I stayed in room 203.

The toiletries were local unknown brands. For someone who has skin sensitivity, this was a hassle. I had to buy something else more suitable. But, I think most hostels are the same in that regard. Hot water ran out quite quickly while taking a shower, but I wasn't really annoyed. There is a water heater in the bathroom, but I really don't know why that happened. One last thing, the fridge isn't entirely clean. It really needs to be taken care of. It wasn't a major issue for me. I stayed for only one night. But if you're staying for more than one night, it could be a problem. It's a minor thing and I think the staff could remedy that quite easily. Other than that and with the insane prices of hotels these days, this room is good value for money.

Rate and location is perfect. My room was in front of the museum. All the staffs was really helpful. The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options.

My balcony and the walls of the bathroom were dirty. A lot of noise at night because my room was in front a main avenue. The towels was old and small size.

The lift is a bit scary... But that's a old building, but will not stop me from booking again.

The staff is just amazing! Every single person had been truly exceeding all our expectations. They managed to fix for us in no time a guide when ours cancelled last minute, fixed an additional night at another hotel when we needed it, they gave us great advice for places to eat (the best Hawawshi in the city!!) or how to move around and helped us with all other small or big request we had. We felt home and cared for every single moment during our stay! The location is very good, even though it is a bit noisy as it is located on a high traffic road. The facilities are according to expectations.

The bathroom was very small, without much usable space for storage. In general the cleanliness was according to expectations.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, located conveniently just opposite the Egyptian Museum. While the downtown location does get a bit noisy, it’s a small trade-off for being in the heart of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay very comfortable. A special thanks to Mostafa, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience—he arranged an excellent tour guide and reliable cars for our entire day, making everything seamless. Overall, a comfortable stay with exceptional service, and we’d definitely recommend it!

The hotel is in a perfect location close to the Egyptian Museum. The staff was friendly and the room clean. The Hotel offer a free transfer from the airport and that is very important especially if you arrive in Cairo late in the night like me. A nice hotel to stay for 2-3 days.

The room was a little bit small and the mattresses were no so comfortable. The breakfast was very limited and totally not for a European tourist. The last day I asked for a transfer to go to the airport. I told them the driver should be at the hotel at 19.00. The driver finally arrived at the hotel at 19.35 because of the traffic and I almost lost my flight. The staff of the hotel tried to help me and they called him a lot of times but he totally was late and this is not acceptable for me especially if you have a flight to catch.

The hotel is inside a building that looks really old, on the second floor. The elevator is a bit old, like the building, but the concierge is always there to assist you. As you walk in the hotel, you see that it is nothing like the rest of the building, it is recently renovated, clean, air conditioned. The rooms are clean, renovated, with nice colors and decor. Everything was functional. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, as the Egyptian people are in general. The breakfast was basic, but decent, as it generally is in Egypt. They also let us leave our bags in the hotel after check out.Totally recommend.

Everything was fine

The location is very central, so close to the Egyptian Museum. The room was very comfortable, clean and warm. It had a fridge and kettle and plenty of surface space and sockets next to the bed. The bathroom was clean and there was always hot water. Hela was a delight, very warm and welcoming and we were glad to have met her. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh and plenty of it.

As everyone comments, the noise from the street is quite extreme. We were able to sleep, but the windows don't do much to block out the sound.

The staff was very friendly and kind! Also the rooms are new! You can’t see that in these photos, they should update them.

You definitely can’t sleep in the morning with the noise from the street. A small renovation on the windows will fix this issue.
