Near to the airport, all in all gentile people, good restaurant

After we arrived, the concierge brought our luggage to our room and immediately tried to sell us a trip to the pyramids with a friend of him (not officially from the hotel) and trapped into our hotel room, called his colleague and made us talking to him. All in a very obtrusive way - gentile but obtrusive. Be aware of that kind of people because there are a lot in Cairo.

Exotic restaurants with ultra-fresh and delicious entrees. Wonderfully soft (just right) beds that invited sleeping in. Just right pool temperature for leisurely laps. A grand atmosphere to the lobby and attentive porters. A well-kept and large central courtyard with abundant seating. The attached horse stables, walking ring, and track give the hotel an exotic, historic feel (and the bonus of watching horses amble in the ring!).

Despite having a repairman come up to our room to get the refrigerator going, it never did cool down, and we lost our boxed leftovers from the delicious previous night’s meal. was disappointing. We also had trouble adjusting the a/c to our preferred temperature, and the same repairman got it to working, but later the air conditioner didn’t seem able to bring the room temperature below 23 degrees C.

Amazing cozy hotel, very clean and enjoyable swimming pool, nice and cool music with professional and perfect hospitality. Recreational team and Staff were awesome. Mohamed Manga, Ashraf, Ahmed and Menna (at the pool) are wonderful people.

The variety of food was good

I thought I had included breakfast in my booking but it turned out it was no included. Is this due to ambiguity on the Hotels. Com booking system? I was informed by a colleague there were two different rates for breakfast to the left was Egyptian 420 and to the right Egyptian pounds 210. There is no clear signage as to what's in each category. For example I like to start with fruit which is to the left and have no idea if this is under the 420 or 210 charge. Some indication as to what breakfast costs which amount would be useful.

Since the moment we arrived, Madonna warmly welcomed us, This reservation was specifically for my wheelchair mother, Madonna took care of my mother the whole stay, She followed up with her day by day always offered her help in everything my wheelchair mother could ask for, I greatly appreciate Madonna’s help and definitely she deserves a promotion for her dedication in her work, Really the words can’t express my gratitude to her. My mother felt very welcome and very very happy. Without Madonna the accommodation wouldn’t be the same. Thank you Madonna, 10 stars for you

The Concorde El Salem Hotel is not far from the airport and provides free Airport shuttle. The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful with information. We had a free room upgrade with garden and swimming pool view which meant we could watch the evening entertainment without living our room. The room was spacious and very clean. There were black out curtains and a balcony with two layers of doors (no noise). Coffee, tea and mugs available. Air conditioner worked just fine but didn't need it. They cleaned and vacuumed every day. The bathroom was clean, with fresh towels and toiletries provided every day. There are about 7 restaurants in the hotel to try out. We enjoyed a different restaurant every night. They had life music and belly dancing every night. There's a gym, salon, business centre and even banks in the hotel. Lots of activities for everyone even horse riding. There's also taxi service in the hotel incase you want to go into town which costs about $15. We were there for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. Our stay was comfortable. Thank you to all the Staff members, they made our stay wonderful. This is a place you should go to forget the outside world. I will definitely be back!!!

With the hotel being a bit outside the city we had to take taxi to town. Even though we paid for taxi service in the hotel the driver was pushing for tips (which he got) but asking for more tips almost aggressively in Dollars not Egyptian pounds. I'd be careful with belongings when in the markets.

Staff is Very Friendly and Cooperative , and they do not hesitate to Extend any Support The Restaurants available make you 100% Satisfied , and you do not have to think about going out search for Good Environment and Food Breakfast is Reasonably Good , and The Hotel provide Transportation To/From Airport which is very Convenient I enjoyed a fancy Pool View Room

Rooms needs some Renovation , more Variety required for the Breakfast in compare with the Cost of B.Fast Rest are all ok and Appreciated

Very clean hotel. Beautiful pool area/gardens. Excellent food at the buffet breakfast and buffet dinner in the main restaurant. The Italian restaurant food was also great. A good gym. Very comfortable bed and good sized room.

The attitude of the staff and the service. The card machine wasn't working at check in and the staff member was unapologetic and dismissively gestured to the ATM to withdrawal the 3000 Egyptian pound deposit. During our 4 night stay, we found consistently that service in the main restaurant was poor. At breakfast and dinner, servers never came for drinks orders, we always had to request. Tables were not cleaned promptly after use so it could be hard to find a space at breakfast. On one occasion I requested milk and was given a used jug from a recently vacated table. As we paid our bill at checkout, we were requested to discuss how we would rate on booking.com and after discussion pressured to rate higher than we planned.

This is a really good hotel in its own haven close to the airport. The hotel is large with many facilities (restaurants , shops, bank) and the lobby is charming and spacious, as is the pool area. Our room was lovely, well equipped and comfortable, especially the KS bed. Our room (city view) was very quiet.

I initially wasn't allocated a room with a walk-in shower which I requested months ago . I have mobility issues so really important. But before we had unpacked, they found one and shifted us. I was puzzled by some of the negative reviews as they reflect an experience so different to ours.

Big hotel and complex close to main road but rooms well insulated and quiet and surrounded by trees so pleasant setting ( particulalry for Cairo) Lovely pool and surroundings, comfy beds, near airport. Sweet treats and fruit in room were a nice touch and room itself was upgrade which much appreciated after long journey! Good plentiful breakfast buffet. Friendly staff in pool area and bar

Free shuttle to and from airport was fairly basic minibus. Driver picking up ok but going back to airport (different) driver was dreadful- too fast ,dodging in and out of bigger vehicles, on his mobile the whole time taking hands off the wheel to change gear! Given Cairo traffic is chaotic anyway it was downright dangerous. He didnt therefore get the expected tip he asked for. Concierge staff also wanted to take our (small) luggage presumably to get a tip. Reception woman pushing us to give a 10 rating on checkout - not sure why but refused! Shame as rest of experience was great
