The friendliness of the staff and the wide variety of food for breakfasts

The location was terrible. There was nowhere you could walk near the hotel. It is plunked right in the middle of one of the busiest highways in Cairo. If you happened to be given a room in the direction of the highway, too bad. The noise was constant. We estimated that at least 800 vehicles per minute passed just outside our window. When no real on-site dinner was available, we were forced to travel to some restaurant twenty minutes away. Also it is located at least 30 minutes away from most tourist sites.

Housekeeping staff was nice and helpful. We had two family suites. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Room service offers pretty good food.

Breakfast was not very good despite the large variety of food. Waiting time at the reception was long. Reception was not helpful enough when we ordered food from outside. Internet was spotty and not reliable.Not acceptable for a suite guest. I ordered food from room service for 6 guests. The kids dropped one of the plates. They proposed to prepare the food again for the dropped plate but only if I pay again. This is a very cheap behavior toward a guest who paid for two large family suites and ordered massive room service meals. Same comment when we requested extended checkout, the reception should have show more flexibility depending on the guest. I went to another hotel after that during my stay, and the service was definitely superior on this regard.

The room was clean and spacious. Tv had limited channels but was working well. Bathroom was clean, shower was of a good standard. Had kettle and water bottles in the room. Breakfast had a nice variety and staff were friendly. Wael in the restaurant was very helpful and accommodating. Tahir who cleaned our room was helpful too. Yousef at reception was friendly.

The hotel has maintenance work, which meant the entrance was far away to our building. It was a long walk out to the exit each time. It would have been nice to be made aware of this especially having a disabled person staying there.

Our room got upgraded. The hotel is close to CAI airport, in a nice and secure area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also, while entering the hotel, I dropped a significant amount of money by mistake, and they chased me until they returned the money, which displays the integrity of the hotel staff. The room service menu was as affordable as the prices in average restaurants outside, something I didn't see in five-star ranked hotels. And yeah, the beds were super comfy."

The hotel is relatively old, but it's not something that deters me. I would recommend having noise-canceling windows installed, as main street cars can be noisy at times

I liked the house keeping staff they were very helpful, especially Hanaa who provided excellent service and was very professional.

The furniture in the lounge room & in the lobby needs updating.

The place is just stunning! Clean, quiet place. The food is delicious! All the staff are very friendly and professional! Admiring the housekeeping team! They’re always ready to clean our mess with smile on the face The reception staff provided great service!

Tue beach. Is rocky and the beach staff not allowed the guests to swim, even we had beach shoes.You can use only the platform which is quite uncomfortable because is not enough space for everybody and most of the people sitting on the stairs and we can’t reach the water actually.

location is very good, close to the Airport

amenities need more improvement, room maintenance need a bit more effort to keep the hotel rating a 5 stars as with the current situation it is 3-4 starts El Korba Restaurant need more improvement with food quality , there is a lack of essence and taste as most of food served lacks taste and authenticity. Staff are friendly and well trained and I avan see it’s a management issue to improve and facilitate guest accommodation as the competitor hotels offers a better service and better food .

The standard rooms are large and spacious- all come with balconies. We booked two single beds and the beds were much larger- almost double beds! They were also beautifully cleaned everyday The hotel gives 2 bottles of water everyday which is super convenient and thoughtful! Very good air conditioning- cools the room down in seconds The shower isn’t the easiest with temperatures being hard to adjust but once you get it working, it’s absolutely fine The breakfast is a big buffet of items from eggs, sausages, pastries, fruits, cooked items but it is a hit and miss with the taste- the items change slightly day to day too

Wifi - works decently well, not great for streaming Security checks every time you come into the hotel- although this happened everywhere in Egypt, did think it was a bit much from the hotel to check handbags every time we came in- didn’t feel very hospitable There’s no indoor pool so no women only swimming available which is a shame The facilities were not signposted to us- there was no mention of spa facilities which leads me to think, the health centre may not be fully functioning Whilst the staff were lovely, there was a definite language barrier - something to be mindful of

I loved the comfy beds, the only downs was perhaps the location of this property and that the spa facilities were out of order for refurb which I wasn’t aware until I arrived. The staff were exceptionally lovely and kind they helped so much and upgraded our room as I had especially booked for the spa facilities. However the location was slightly tricky for me to navigate around and the person who books excursions who is named Tatou charges extremely expensive prices for taxi when it is way over the price of regular taxis it felt like such a scam which made me angry as the regular Ubers and taxi were charging half of what she was charging it was absolutely ridiculous and off putting so don’t book with her unless you want to pay extra for no reason. Sometimes she was even trying to charge triple the regular price it was so so bad for me to experience as I don’t mind paying extra sometimes but never to that extent!

The location was kind of far from a lot of shops and amenities but not too far when u travel by taxi

This time I am giving 9 because of the amazing staff who made me feel home. The starting point was by the super stars Mohamed (reception) and Mr Yasser ( housekeeping manager), who were the main reason for my good stay. Big thanks also to Mahmoud , Ameer, Ahmed, Youssef and all restaurant chefs for the tasty food and the friendly spirit. Many thanks to Amr and Safwat from concierge for the usual support. My continuous request is to make it clear while booking online, how to choose between the old building and the renovated one. And to have more clarity between rooms types, honestly i am still confused till now.
