As advertised. Quick drive off of highway 90, quick drive to Dunes. There was a pool, but was quite busy in the evening so we skipped it. Beds were comfortable, room seemed clean. Staff were very nice, patient with us and other guests, let us hang out in the lobby for a while after we'd checked out.

It's a picky thing, but there are 2 levels of wifi, so if you want to do more than check your email, it's another $5 or you "become a member". This just made the place feel cheap. We're already paying for the room. In every other hotel I've been to, any number of stars, decent wifi is standard, not a perk or "extra".

Overall, the location was great, near the dunes (about 9 min drive). Rooms where well kept and restaurant staff was great.

Faulty communication between reception staff members. We requested a late checkout the night of our check-in and where granted late checkout till 1pm, however the next day, the staff where knocking on our door around 12:40pm asking if we where checking out that day. We also heard the staff complaining in the lobby after we checked out at 1pm. This makes a pleasant stay, be not so pleasant in the end due to faulty communication between reception staff members. If you offer late checkout, it needs to be honored as such.

EVERY SINGLE THING. Especially the recycled utensils in the dining area! THANK YOU for that!!!

The dog next door barked ALL NIGHT LONG. ALL. NIGHT. Come to find our, the human stays there full-time, and someone from the hotel was supposed to go feed him and let him out. Me nor my husband slept a wink ALL NIGHT. I wasn't complaining (dog mother, too) until I found out this goes on EVERY day - to EVERY human who stays in my same room!!!!!! They just laughed it off like, "Oh, well!" Really? Did YOU get sleep last night? Jesus! It's one thing to allow dogs, but sweet Lord, THAT is uncalled for!!! I payed all that money to NOT get sleep?!?!?!? And then git laughed at? Not happy!

The rooms were very spacious! It was not crowded with 6 people. The facilities were very clean. We stayed 5 nights and when we needed anything, we just stopped up at the front desk. The pool was open by reservation only but we never had a problem getting in! The hot tub was a nice addition! The breakfast available for purchase was delicious! And if you did not have cash, you could charge it to your room! There are also several restaurants within walking distance, as well as a gas station. The Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve is close enough to walk to. Several walking paths and gorgeous scenery! The checkout process was fast and easy!

My husband said the beds weren't very comfortable but the kids and I slept great!

The breakfast was mediocre. Everything else was great. Kudos to Heather in housekeeping for finding my misplaced wallet and turning it into the front desk.

We had a toilet issue with the water level. We contacted guest services in the morning to let them know. We called again in the afternoon when we realized nothing had been done about it. The hotel manager then came to the room and we explained the situation. That evening, nothing still was done about it. We called and finally someone from maintenance came and quickly resolved the problem.

The Staff was wonderful

I understand every company is short staffed but at least keep up with housekeeping and have them come every other day to clean to rooms people are staying it looks unprofessional and gross that people are throwing dirty towels, sheets, and trash in the hallways that how u get mice in hotels not only that every time I needed something nobody was at the front desk at all it was very frustrating there was no bell to ring for service at all I had to look for a phone to call them just to ask for extra towels since housekeeping didn’t come at all while I was there it just ridiculous you want guests to be happy then have someone sit at the front desk no matter if it’s slow or not they shouldn’t be hiding in the back office on their phones or doing whatever

Location !! How close it was to Indian Dunes State and National Park. The shower in bathroom was great. The room was clean the bed was comfortable.

I did not See robes or extra blankets in Room, Its great that they have a restaurant onsite and make eggs to order for breakfast but there are not many heathy and vegetarian friendly options on the menu.

The staff was very friendly. The went out of their way to make sure my sisters room was next to mine. We had to travel to Chesterton for our fathers funeral. The staff made us feel welcome and were very helpful to make sure we were comfortable. The free coffee was great.

Would like to have had breskfast included. Most hotels for the price of the room will have breakfast included. It is nice to have breakfast in the hotel instead of having to go out.

location excellent, and facility to the standard of Garden Inns we have stayed at before. Should provide free breakfast for Hilton honors folks, but otherwise very good.
