The food on offer was a buffet style and changed each evening. Breakfast had many options, cold or hot and both breakfast and dinner was tasty. Location very good, literally 2 minutes from the promenade with beaches. Staff all very pleasant. Rooms cleaned daily. Double bed, as requested.

No English channels, Shower not very good. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The staff were friendly and helpful . The room was clean . There was plenty of food at breakfast with a good variety so you wouldn’t go hungry. it was worth what we paid for a week in early May.

The noise at night was awful. Someone above us was moving heavy furniture around the room after midnight. Scraping along the tiled floor. As well as just general noise that people made as they came and went.

The room was at the top of the hotel with sea views. It was probably the second-best room in the hotel. The room next door would have offered the best of rooms as it had a full sea view. The room offered everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and the bed was big and comfy. Room service was exceptional and our room was serviced throughout our stay. I was disappointed that they offered no hairdryer but this was easily rectified by asking at reception. A deposit of 20 euros was required. There also were no tea and coffee making facilities or indeed a fridge despite the room being plenty big enough to accommodate these. I was also a little disappointed that the bath had no plug. I asked reception and was told that once her colleague came on duty she would ask. I never got a plug. The shower was powerful so that made up for it. The bath was slippy and would have benefited from an anti-slip mat. Food services were very good and they did provide a lot of choice. However, food was often cold because the lights they used to keep the food warm were inadequate. Fresh fruit and fresh salad were offered at lunch and dinner every day during our stay. The soups were delicious as were the cakes and the orange juice was fresh and the best I had ever tasted. The bread was exceptional but the toaster was no more than a ball ache. The staff were well-organised and the system in the dining room was excellent. My only complaint was there were too many tables in the space the dining room provided. At times it was very difficult to get around. I felt it could be better utilised if more of the bar space had been utilised. The reception staff and all the staff were extremely busy and helpful. The reception provided a pleasant place to sit and the toilets were very clean in the reception. The bar staff went over and above to accommodate you and provided excellent all-inclusive services. The local beers, wines and spirits were all exceptional.

The reception staff were so remarkable! I made a mistake in booking and they easily fixed it for me and I was ever so grateful. They were some of the nicest people I had yet to encounter, although everyone in Portugal was!

The staff in the restaurant forgot about me and when I went to check out, the guy (Commish) ignored me (asked me to wait a while) while other (men) before me were easily processed out. I was not happy, as I felt that I was treated differently due to my gender. He apologized and said it had nothing to do with that, which was nice. But for such a high class restaurant, that and the chef went to every table except mine (I was a woman traveling along), it didn't leave the best impression.

The hotel was excellent and the staff are all lovely ..we had a fantastic time at the hotel ...we booked bed and breakfast but after the 2nd night stay upgraded to half board as the meals were better than what we could get outside .Also you had free wine with your meal ..for £26 for the 2 of us we had good food and a bottle and a half of wine ..all staff in the restaurant could not do enough for us .. Nothing all good for the price 5 stars

I was really pleased with the room, we could see a little of the beach and the sea from off the balcony, I thought most of the staff were pleasant and the room cleaning staff excellent.The location of the Hotel is great just minutes from the beach.for the price we paid for all inclusive you could always find something to eat.I would go again.

I didn’t like the older man on the reception I thought he was ignorant and the bar man wasn’t pleasant The rest of the staff were lovely.I would also would have liked a better known diet cola.

Hotel Atismar, is an exceptional hotel. It is located right beside the beach. It has a gorgeous outdoor poor with sun loungers, aswell as a decking area with tables and chairs for drinks. Rooms were very clean and spacious..We had a twin room which had 2 balconies. The staff were really exceptional. So friendly and accommodating. We had an all inclusive package which meant food and drinks were included. The food was outstanding with a fantastic variety of hot and cold dishes. This hotel is so fabulous that I am returning again on the 28th, with two other friends from Ireland.

There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

This is not my usual sort of hotel, aimed more at holidaymakers, rather than travellers. However stay was pleasant enough. Staff are all polite and friendly, a credit to the hotel. Rooms are somewhat dated, a bit shabby, but perfectly comfortable. Breakfast is not exactly fine dining, but adequate. Location is excellent for those wanting to visit beach. Intermarche a 5 minute walk away.

No WiFi in room.....I have stayed in well over 100 hotels this year, and this is a first!

Everything. Price was fantastic with only 2 minutes walk from the beach and the restaurants. And then only a 20 minute walk to Vila Moura. Everyone was very friendly and the pool was lush as well.

The cockroach outside our room on its back scrambling about. But it was quickly dealt with by staff. Everything else was perfect. Would still highly recommend.
