Great Swimming pools and outside area ! the rooms are also spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and all very hard working. overall a very nice hotel. the location is excellent. the food on the a la carte menu is very good. the staff were extremely attentive and lovely

The hotel has the foundations to be a very good hotel but has become slightly dated and needs a refurb generally. the rooms are old fashioned and the appliances have been there for 10/15 years. The food was good on the a la Carte menu but the buffet was very average. Breakfast was also average with the pancakes being stale some days and poached eggs were more like boiled eggs. Still a good amount of selection .

Very clean. Staff very helpful and polite. Apartments were huge and well equipped. Kept clean daily. Layout of the grounds around pool etc was good. Pool was kept clean, although cold!! Views from the patio to the golf course was nice.

buffet breakfast choice very poor for a four star hotel. main hot choice every day basically egg, bacon, beans etc. Only six hot items in containers plus omelette. Cheese and one cold meat. Need to improve this. Breakfast was the biggest let down. Having shower curtains in a modern marble/tiled bathroom seemed out of place as they stick to your skin. A shower screen would be more appropriate. Seemed very strange to omit screens when clearly a lot of money has been spent on the bathrooms.

Beautiful peaceful area and if you want more lively area you can do 20 minute walk to Marina and beach or get really cheap UBER (€6 euro down return journey €4). We loved the peace and beauty of this area and only went to the Marina twice. Exceptionally friendly staff. Spotless clean. Rooms properly cleaned daily. Great area around the pool. Two bed and one bed apartments have been beautifully renovated. However we were in a studio which was very well worn and dated. Very dark which was very disappointing as we had paid 5* price. I did complain at reception the first day but the guy at reception just shrugged his shoulders and explained that the studios would be renovates soon which was not much use to us who had paid a premium for Four Season expected standard. Finally if we return we would not take the breakfast option as it was very poor. Same thing each morning and very limited. Having said that I would particularly like to call out the two lovely waitresses who serve breakfast each morning. One is called Gloria and unfortunately I did not catch the other lady’s name with the blond hair. These ladies were 5* all the way. They were so cheerful, friendly and helpful each morning. Finally in the studio whilst they supply a hairdryer there is no plug point near a mirror to dry your hair. Overall we had a great stay with just a few small issues but would recommend .

Breakfast and dated room. Need a mirror near a plug point. Not a proper balcony with dirty well worn white table and two white plastic chairs. Would have expected to see this in a cheap 2 or 3 star property

my fault I thought I would book this outside of school holidays so it would be quiet??? got that wrong!

The rooms are very spacious, clean and felt like a home from home. There are ample seats by the pools and you don’t have to reserve a seats to get a seat. Again there is ample space in the pools and the pool areas which makes for a stress free and relaxing holiday. We have already booked to come back next year.

The apartment was very spacious. With a jacuzzi bath and power shower, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor patio. The pool areas were excellent and very relaxing. With a pool bar very handy. The indoor pool was heated and very quiet. Location to villamoura a bit far but a very nice walk through the old village.

Both the washing machine and dishwasher were broken. I did report this but they weren't fixed. I was hoping to use these on my holiday so very disappointed. However that is the only thing I found wrong. Everything else was wonderful

Lovely clean hotel and the grounds are well kept. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. 3 good pools outside. Excellent facilities in the apartment fridge dishwasher washing machine etc and room was a good size. Pool towels and bathrobes included in room. House keeping very good. Air conditioning was very good.

Mattress was a bit hard. It's a good 20 minute walk to the Marina. The inndoor pool could be a lot warmer considering it was October.

Too much Covid 'stuff' about. Reception still has plastic partition. Covid notices everywhere including in the apartments. Dining little bit too formal for my liking but probably because out of season.

Whatever we wanted , we got. Very quick to service any need. Superb environment . Staff very friendly In the restaurant . Room was big, well catered and fabulous balcony view from room 61 . Sunny all day from south and west .

Maybe it was too early to visit in January . Can be cold at night.

the pool facilities were amazing. we had the choice of four pools, including indoor facilities. the staff were so lovely and our room was cleaned everyday. about a 25 min walk to the marina which was very doable but the old village is a stunning setting also. the value for money was excellent.

the beds weren’t the comfiest.
