Riva Arun is a small, excellent Boutique Hotel with a stunning rooftop-bar/restaurant. The rooms are nice & clean, with direct view of beautiful Wat Arun. The rooftop-terrace offers stunning views in different directions and counts surely to the top 10 nicest places in BKK if you ask me. Food & drinks are also delicious at the rooftop-restaurant. All the staff is very friendly & helpful. Location of „Riva Arun“ is very nice, lots of interesting things to do around… We really enjoyed our stay there and would always come back.

Loved the fact that it was so close to the river, with stunning views of ancient temples. But if you want to go to Central World or Siam Paragon, it’s 20 minutes by taxi or TukTuk. Breakfast is excellent and cooked to order, so none of the usual cold eggs rubbish that’s so common with many buffet breakfasts. Staff were brilliant. And I have to give a special mention to Pink who was on reception. You couldn’t get anyone more camp, but also so friendly and helpful. Really lovely guy.

My only criticism was the shower was a bit finicky to get the right temperature.

We would like to thank very much the 3 guys at the reception who helped us weigh such heavy suitcases, they were very kind and helpful, thank you! I really liked the location- close to the historic centre, metro, 7/11, flower market, restaurants, massage, tuk tuk, and the view of Wat Arun.

The room is small, next time we will take a bigger room and the bed is uncomfortable.

The service & staff were excellent, room was great. excellent location, everything you need to do is around you.

The shower, the floor tiles are totally the wrong type of tiles, really, really slippery, i fell over & bruised my hip. I had a shower first, luckily, I laid two towels in the shower for my wife, so she wouldn't slip.

We loved this hotel. It's located opposite one of the must-do temples and the ferry-taxi. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the staff were outstanding and we were happy guests. The room was airy and well-equipped. We had a view of the temple and the river which was great. We had drinks on the rooftop bar which has a fabulous view. The location is not in the city centre. We didn't know this when we booked, but we were grateful for the quiet location and wonderful local restaurants. It's also close to the must-do Grand Palace and Reclining Buddha. We wouldn't have changed a thing.

The comfort and serene of Riva Arun was splendid. The location overlooking the River and Wat Arun was exception. Its as good as the photo the website posted. A walking distance to Grand palace and many coffee and cafe spots around. I did my jog around the area and found a nice park near grand palace where the locals would do zumba and jog in as well. The stafc is very helpful. English speaking. Even gave us advise and some safety tips The room was clean and comfy

I didnt like.the MOST was the Television all.the channels are Thai Home TV shoppinhg channels. There is not even 1 channel where i can enjoy local variety shows and the much talked about Thai dramas which are getting alot of interest all over the world. There isnt any NETFLIX and Youtube on their smart TV too. Riva Arun should invest in hving at least these basic apps if they do not have the thai local channels like GMMTV for their customers. With its great location, great interiors and services that they offered, Riva Arun will definitely be up a notch with such television Channels for their customers.

The property was beautiful! The room had great amenities and there was a rooftop bar with a magnificent skyline of the city with its beautifully lit up temples at night. The staff were very helpful and the service was top notch! The breakfast had many delicious options and it was in a prime location close to most of the major temples and other attractions. We came for our honeymoon and the staff gave us a special treat to celebrate, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again! We highly recommend the Riva Arun Bangkok!

We wanted to stay near the water so we could visit temples and sites easily, and this hotel really delivered. It's walking distance to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, and an easy ferry ride to Wat Arun, from which the hotel gets its name. You can see Wat Arun from your window (or from the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served). Service was impeccable. The rooms were a bit small but very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was great (a mix of buffet and food to order), and it comes with a great view of the river and surrounding temples.

Our room had its own rooftop view of Wat Arun from the balcony jacuzzi. Service for front desk staff was amazing and made us feel pampered from the welcome tea to the offer to send us the sunglasses we accidentally left behind when we departed for home. We were also directly across the street from two Michelin recommended rooftop restaurants with fabulous Thai food and cocktails. This hotel was our most expensive while in Thailand, but it made for memorable stay.

Though the service was excellent at the restaurant, the food at breakfast was bland and just ok- other more budget friendly hotels we stayed at had better Asian and western food options. I feel like this could be improved upon. However, we did order cocktails from the restaurant via room service and the service was once again excellent and the cocktails tasty and very nicely presented.

The riverview rooms are fantastic. But not quiet like nearly every room in Bangkok. The breakfast on the roof top with city view is exceptional.

The windows are not preventing noise. The climatisation is not on modernst level ...
