We had a nice stay here. The location is excellent - right in the middle of the Old Town. There is a good shower and comfortable beds. In the room they provide chocolate, biscuits, toothpaste, toothbrushes, playing cards, seeing kit and even a condom. There is a microwave and refrigerator. There are comfortable, homey sitting rooms. The breakfast is very good. Particularly noteworthy is the selection of many different fish.

It didn't affect us but for others: Be aware that if you want to get an early start you will have to skip breakfast as it doesn't start until 9:00. Also be aware that the hotel is not accessible at all. There are many stairs including up from the sidewalk to the entrance.

We decided to stay another night and this was quickly arranged by the hotel. Both rooms we stayed in were luxurious, unique, clean and well equipped with aircon. The upstairs room even more so. Hotel lobby, terrace and breakfast/pub room were very cozy too. The breakfast was plentiful and we were given some allergenic free oatmeals when asked. Great location, for dog owners too. Pet fee was reasonable 5€ and parking was free.

We loved the quiet and relaxed mood of the hotel. Heads up though, the hotel arranges karaoke nights every wednesdays and fridays. On our stay the terrace was very busy with people singing on wednesday. The singing stopped around 23pm and serving continued inside the pub (cellar floor) so some life could be heard to our 1st floor room. This didn’t keep us up, but for light sleepers this could be a problem.

The location is very central and the double room was nicely spacious. Super friendly and attentive staff!!! The whole atmosphere of the building is as seen on the photos, definitely a bit quirky :) The room was equipped with numerous small extras like a manicure set, emergency toothbrushes and toothpaste, some card games, sewing kit, earplugs, shoe polish etc. etc. It really felt like Alex Maja tried to do everything in their power to make the guests feel comfortable and welcome. Breakfast was nice (apart from the juice) with ample choice for any taste.

The breakfast juices seemed to have been made from some cheap and quite horrible juice concentrate, but this was really the only downside.

Good location, helpful staff, cofortable bed, iron, dishes, mictowave in room, good breakfast. Many bars and restaurants around.

On friday&saturday evening 20-23 karaoke takes place in the courtyard, the windows of the room are oriented towards that courtyard. It was difficult to unlock room's door, especially when you have something in your hands.

Perfect location, couple hundred meters from the sea. Very nearby there are many cafes and restaurants for socializing. The cleanliness of the rooms and comfort honestly exceeded my expectations. I'm not even mentioning that breakfast was excellent with a rich menu and healthy options, I would definitely come back on my second trip to Pärnu.

I struggled to open the windows in my room to refresh the air, though it didn't cause any problems. The air conditioning was working.

Very cozy room decorated in a very original and at the same time traditional style, situated in an old typical wooden house. The details, attentions and amenities offered in the room could be worth of a 4* hotel: tea/coffee facilities in the room, slippers, toothbrush, razors, sewing kit, glasses and cups, hairdryer, fridge etc. The bed was comfortable and the shower functional. I asked to have breakfast before scheduled time since I had to leave early and I was given a full plate and beverages in the evening that I could have in my room the following morning. Staff was very kind, helpful and smiling: all requests were promptly satisfied. Definitely the best place to stay to experience a really typical local accommodation rather than a large, impersonal hotel!

That was no problem for me at all but... one should know there is no lift (only one floor to go up though ... ) and ask for a room that doesn't give on the inner courtyard if one wants absolute quietness since it hosts a pub and concerts at the weekend (ending around midnight at the latest though).

This is why hotels are often better than Airbnb and apartments. It was a great stay in a nice room, with quality linen, a fine shower room, a quiet night in a good bed followed by nice coffee and a good breakfast. Thanks.

Not much really. One would have to be hyper critical to pick a fault. Maybe the parking…. It’s very public and not secure. Did the tv have Netflix? Not sure? Overall we loved it there and would gladly go back.

Comfortable number with warm floor in bathroom. Comfortable bed. Facilities can meet every guest needs! Very friendly and helpful staff :) Dogs also liked the place. The location is very near the walking part and parks.

Bit noisy when other guests were going upstairs and downstairs. The door was shaking every time they passed by. Breakfast: bit poor selection (eg., scrambled eggs, too little portions. I've got only 1 spoon of it. ), but tasty.

Lovely small hotel center of the city. Beach is 5 min walk. Room had nice soft bed and absolutly everithing you need even thoothburushes and wine glasses. Breakfast was very good and had wide choice. Staff vere nice and friendly. Baby crib was super comfy and even had a princess towel. 😍

Great location, lovely hotel and staff. Wonderful large room. The breakfast was great and the dining room, a bar in the evening, was a revelation - wish I found it the night before……Would definitely visit again and recommend
