Proximity, African hospitality, amazing staff! Abel especially at the front desk went over and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible which I really truly appreciate. I got injured (not at the hotel or hotel related) while in town and the staff really were concerned which I really appreciated

Being right in the city with only nine floors made it susceptible to noise and interference which was disruptive for a light sleeper as myself. I had to move rooms thrice yet I could still hear the generator running and cars on the road from the other side. Not sure much can be done about that but just a heads up.

A lot of high points for the staff who was friendly and accommodating. We made use of the restaurant / bar during the day and evenings. Made use of the spa and gym also which was adequate. Good value of money overall.

The street in front of the hotel was very busy. Great for people watching from the room but we had problems trying to get our friends to pick us up, or to use ride share cars due to the ongoing construction of the driveway and busy road as there was no place to park and pick us up, except for inside the hotel premises.

No mold, sockets not falling out of the wall, doors close, toilet doesn't leak. Think my bar is low? Think again. We stayed in different hotels in Addis and beyond, and only this one was properly clean and functional,so we could relax.

While the hotel is western, the staff is definitely not. Male staff addressed my male colleague only, ignoring me - which is what everyone in the country does, of course, but hey - if you want to provide western service, you have to work on your sexism too. Oh and this extends to equal treatment of female employees too, not only guests.

This is an excellent hotel in a splendid location for exploring the city. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There are good options for food and drink within the hotel. There is a range of excellent facilities that you would expect from a five star hotel. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. They are well equipped and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large. We had a wonderful time at the hotel and booked a return trip straight after our trip away from the city. We would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in the city.

Breakfast was super various with sovoury and sweet options but also international and ethiopian folk food. The staff was super friendly and very helping at any time.

This hotel is rated as 5 stars but according to the internationsl standards it is a 4 stars hotel. It can be compared to a mercure or ibis hotel. The gym must be renewed because several machine are not working and the cost should be equalized to those of the lower category. Despite a good hotel is can t be rate as 5 stars for sure

Okay, it's the Radisson. So I have Radisson expectations: cleanliness, attentive staff, fast internet, facilities, great breakfast. And it had all of that. The interior spaces are fabulous.

First, the shower could use some extra holders to hold all of the stuff I bring into the shower. A small thing that makes a difference to me. The airport shuttle was not there to collect me. I later learned that they were running late (like at least 40 minutes late because that's how long I hung around looking for them before taking a taxi). I guess these things happen, but when they do they should send an Email or a phone message to let the passenger know. I will say that reception took note of my complaint, sent up a nice snack tray for free, gave me a free breakfast, and otherwise pampered me to assuage my potential irritation! Kudos.

The staff in the hotel is really friendly. They always have a smile on and they are ready to serve you. The size of the comfort room was pretty good for the two of us. It had a bathtub on the bathroom and looked clean. The food in the restaurant is good.

The spa was closed when we where there so they were doing maintenance work and all the first floor smelled like painting. That's the most annoying thing that i could say about the hotel but was part of the maintenance of the hotel. The daily cleaning of the rooms could be better, they don't vacuum if you don't ask.

the fact that I couldn’t pay a part of my stay with local currency I had exchanged without a receipt. was told i could use them at the duty free , however did not know the airport was a big tourist scam and duty free does accept only dollars

The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were very pleasant and always willing to help with anything they could.

The cost of breakfast was too much $19. Whilst I appreciate that the price of goods in Addis has increased significantly. They was no way I was going to pay almost 1000birr each for breakfast. The goods would not have cost this and the staff were certainly not going to benefit. So we chose not to have breakfast in the dining room.
