The breakfast was nice. I liked that they have salmon slices for a protein, not just sausage. Other breakfast items are comparable to other hotels I have stayed in during my visit to Finland.

I had one of the new rooms with a private sauna. I think that there were some design problems in making these rooms: 1) no dispenser for facial tissue in the bathroom 2) you can only hang clothes back-to-front in the closet, not side-to-side 3) the shower floods the bathroom floor. The drain should have been put in the shower area, not outside of it 4) the rooms were not very sound-proof. I could hear my neighbors sometimes 5) the room had a funny smell. I opened the window but it did not air out 6) there was a light switch in the bathroom that did nothing. I think maybe it should have turned-on the lights in the sauna. I could not find a way to turn those on.

We stayed for 6 nights in a double room with private sauna and lakeview.The room was in a separate building, and had a private entrance from the outside. Insulation was really good, and with the floorheating, the room was cosy and warm even in the minus twenties outside. The room had a separate entrance hall, with a bootdrier (luckily we didn't need it), and a small garderobe for the coats and hats. The room had a huge window, but it could not be opened, only a small part, with net and fixed shades on the outer side, just enough for refreshing the air in the room. The bed was comfortable, really warm blankets, the bedlinen was crispy celan. The ensiute sauna was perfect in the evenings after the outdoor activities, and it was easy to set. The wifi was good in the room, and in the room there was an electric kettle and complimentary tea, coffe, sugar and cream powder. The view from the room to the frozen lake was superb, we could see the northern light dancing in the sky from our window!

Helpful staff. Terrific location in the center of Inari. Sauna in my room was awesome! Breakfast buffet was delicious and some things changed daily. Restaurant was good, but pricey. Hotel has their own safari company, so logistically it was a breeze. Great range of activities: dogsledding, reindeers, snowshoeing we’re all great. Very professional.

Only rec I’d make is to have the guides on the dogsledding stop halfway and suggest when to switch drivers. My partner wanted to drive for a bit, but we were waiting to be told when to switch. As a result, he wasn’t able to drive.

The staff are really wonderful and always do their utmost to help you out. Breakfast is good, bonus points for having cloudberries on offer. The room was good and warm, even though it was -25C outside. I do not know if they had put the lights in the shape of a heart for someone proposing or just because, but it made me smile each morning as I walked by it on my way to breakfast.

Just nitpicking, but I wish the Finnish egg butter (munavoi) always had more egg than butter in it. And that they would have rieska too. So nothing major :)

The staffs were very friendly and willing to help when I had questions about the trekking trails, restaurants, activities etc. My baggage was delayed when I took flight to Ivalo airport and I was able to buy some groceries and clothes at the supermarkets and souvenir shop opposite. Also, thanks Tuukka for providing useful information and suggestion when I rent a bike. He was very helpful. Overall the stay was enjoyable and the room was comfortable and spacious. The floor was heated and that made the room cozy.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel stay before the lake and so many activities can be attend. We could view the Northern light on the lake at 1 am at night. The bus stop is set before the hotel. The breakfast is excellent with many choice of fresh salad, bread, ham and hot dishes. We recommend.

There is bad smell in the bath and sauna room. The staff told us that the wet towels in the sauna room will generate the bad smell.

The hotel is located in the picturesque location next to Lake Inari. When we arrived we got a free upgrade to a room with a lake view and private sauna. The room was very nice and spatious and we really enjoyed the sauna. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. We were a bit unlucky with cloudy weater (which is not a hotel˙s fault :D ), but I imagine the view of northern lights above the Inari lake from the hotel room window must be amazing. If I ever come back here to a vacation, I will definitely choose Hotel Inari again.

There could be a bit more choices for the breakfast, but it was still good. And you can again enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

Location just at the lake, although in dark winter it was still beautiful. I had my first real Aurora experience that night and could be noticed even from the room. Nice dining room with good breakfast. Parking available. Nice room, though not too big, really nice bathroom. Thanks for having us for that delicious dinner, although we were a bit late. The best souvenir shop in Finland, I've seen so far just across the street. Museum and activities near by.

Halls look like from some other place, not in a positive way. Too bad. Some parking instructions would be beneficial - not all heating boxes have electricity - remove the boxes or add electricity 🤔

We tried the restaurant, the food was delicuous. The breakfast was also very good. The environment is beautiful and calm. The restaurant has a stunning view of the lake. The grocery store is on the other side of the road.

We had to stay in 2 rooms as a family, which is acceptable, but the rooms were far from eachother. Also the rooms were little too small.
