Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Glen Rose

The hotel staff was great. There was an older blonde woman & a younger brunette who were nothing but kind, helpful & always friendly. We had some problem with our room keys that was handled quickly and with a smile. Breakfast was great & having the "market place" was a great convenience. Our overall stay was amazing.

The outside BBQ area/smoking area was a mess & the hot tub needed cleaning. Grown men were walking out the side entrance to drop their pants & pee. (That one was fun explaining to my 5 year old)

The location was perfect, just right down the road from Dinosaur World!

The complementary breakfast. There were not a lot of choices, eggs/sausage. Bread for toast, couple muffins. No milk for cereal, no more batter for waffles. Only orange juice, water and coffee for drinks. It seemed like there weren't a lot of options, especially for dairy free visitors, not even refilling what was already gone for those who were coming down at different times.

The location is very convenient. I live in Granbury, and I enjoy bringing friends from out of town to visit. This is a nice place to go that provides a needed getaway for them and just far enough out to be a getaway for me as well. Also, I enjoyed the staff very much. They were all so helpful and friendly. Hospitality was great!!

The sofa bed was not comfortable at all. The mattress was very worn out and really should be replaced. Also we noticed a big splotch on the wall. The room in general was just not as clean as we would have liked.

The staff were amazing! Brenda, James and Debbie were so friendly and made our stay so much nicer because of it. We loved that they had a big pool, a little pool and a hot tub. It was like the story Goldilocks and the 2 Bears. You could get cool, warm or hot water to swim or soak in! Great location. Breakfast was awesome! Eggs, sausage (not that I eat sausage lol), best waffles I've ever had, fruit and a delicious salsa that I particularly liked!!! (And James, if you read this.... yes - the food and the homemade pickles were AWESOME at that Storiebook Cafe! Thanks for the recommendation!) Btw, even the 2 cleaning young cleaning staff were so friendly. :)

Walls were a little dirty in our room and we had to ask that the sink and toilet drain be cleaned out by the staff but they willingly did that!

The hotel was in a good location. We were visiting Dinosaur Valley State Park, Outlaw Station, Big Rocks Park and Fossil Rim and the hotel was close to all of them. We had a little difficulty finding it at first because there is an unoccupied building that looks like a hotel directly in front of it. The hotel is great for families and children. The staff is very friendly and they were very kind to my kiddos. Breakfast is good and had lots of options: waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, pastries, yogurt, juice, fresh coffee (all day!). The room was large with a coffee pot, mini fridge and microwave which was very helpful since we did a lot of eating in. It was nice to use the pool in the evenings (since there is no shade during the day and it's blazing hot!). There are also beach towels available at the pool, another plus.

I don't have any complaints about our stay, but if the hotel would like some suggestions on improvements I would say it would be helpful if there was an additional person to help the front desk in the morning since the person at the desk is also responsible for maintaining and cleaning the breakfast bar. It also looks like the pool could use a good cleaning. Most people probably already know this, but I wouldn't recommend anyone over say 10 years old sleeping on the sofa bed. My girls (5 and 3) slept on it and they were fine, but it definitely wasn't comfy.

Very clean facilities and the staff was excellent, The room was prefect for our needs. Pool was clean and well maintained. Over all great experience we will be back.

Breakfast buffet was wiped out pretty fast. They could use a few more staff members to help in the morning's but over all great hotel

Staff was friendly and helpful about the area’s around, to visit. Room was clean and big enough for us. Dog friendly, kid friendly! When we needed extra towels, they got them to us, fast and friendly.

Pool area was dirty, and there is no type of shade around pool. The pool itself was clean, just a lot of trash around pool. Hot tub was also dirty, which trash in it.

The location was convenient and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff especially the front desk was professional and very informative. The swimming pools were perfect with toys available for my grandkids to use while playing.

The sewer smell in the lobby at times.

The hotel smelled like old burnt Brussels sprouts… hit you when you walk into that lobby and go out into the hall from my room .. facility seemed clean so not sure why the awful smell

Very friendly staff, very clean facilities.

The only complaint I have, which is really quite minor and probably no big deal to most people, is that their full breakfast only goes until 9:30 a.m. I have teenagers, and we slept in a little on the Sunday morning we were there and missed the breakfast, which was disappointing. I would recommend it be until at least 10:00 a.m.
