Big & comfy bed, spacious room with a balcony. The room has many lights & electric sockets. The location was great, close to the beach & many shops & restaurants. The scent of the shower gel & shampoo was really good. There was also a water dispenser near the lift where you can refill your water. I like the Friday evening market & live music in the breakfast area. Nice decoration in the room & lobby area.

Limited choice of breakfast, bacon was too salty. The bathroom door in my room was broken, so I couldn't close the bathroom. Housekeeping didn't change my bath mat (even though it's already dirty) and didn't change the bath towel. They also didn't give new toiletries (when it almost ran out). The mini refrigerator was dirty and the wooden floor was kind of sticky.

We liked the rooms which were stylish, exceptionally clean and bright. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and staff re-filled our water bottles with drinking water every day. Beds were spatious, we had one double room and one interconnecting rooms, both of them exceeded our expectations. On our first night an M7.1 earthquake shook the whole Bali area. Staff responded immediately in the middle of the night, they kept on assuring people that everything was fine, that there was no tsunami alert etc. It just made us feel safe for the rest of our stay in the hotel. We were assigned parking places for our rented motorbikes charge-free and the parking area was looked after 24/7. Staff were friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. The breakfast included with the room rate was phenomenal! I've never eaten such a good food in hotel restaurant. Also try their draft beer and coffee they're serving in their hotel bar. There are a lot of restaurants in the hotel area, but the best one is directly in the hotel itself. I am already planning my second stay in this hotel. A huge thank you to the whole staff for making my family comfortable!

This is a perfect place! Excellent location, near to everything in Sanur. All things can be easily accessed by foot (eg. Sinur Night market is only 10minues walk or the port is ca.30minutes). There is a huge supermarket, Artasedana open from 8am-11pm only by few steps where you can buy great fruits, dresses, etc. I really loved the cleaniness and the kindness of the staff. A nice weather forecast card and local sweets with short description every day in the room :) They have water automat where you can fill your bottle anytime you want. It is really a great and sustainable thing!!

I would choose only one. I had a suit with balcony to the pool and I could hear the music in my bed. But all noisy things were ended by 11PM so it wasn’t a thing, actually :)

I chose Maison Aurelia based purely on the great reviews it had and it certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants, warungs, shops, spas, bars and the beach. The hotel décor is french colonial and the rooms are decorated beautifully, are spacious, and have the most comfy beds! The staff are warm and inviting and only too happy to help you out with any requests. The attention to detail was noted and I loved the little extras like the Indonesian treat next to my bed at night and a weather report card for the following day left on my bed! The pool area although smallish is nice and the pool was lovely and clean and just the right temperature to cool off in and do some laps. The hotel has it's own Day Spa and the prices were very reasonable by Hotel Spa standards.

I chose not to include breakfast and I'm glad I did as the menu is not as varied as some (ie no dragon bowls or smoothie bowls) and there were great options nearby. Avoid the restaurant across the road for breakfast....their coffee is dearer than Melbourne's, but I did eat there one night and the food and service was lovely. Also thought the hotel lunch/pool menu was not very big, so I tended to head to the beachfront cafes for lunch. There is a gym at the hotel but it is very small.

We were warned ahead of our arrival about the renovations going on at the property which would affect the retaurant - that was a nice thoughtful gesture. We absol loved the bed - super comfy and beautifully sized set of pillows too. Nice big room. Staff were always obliging and kind - and the idea of refillable water with the dispenser at end of corridor gets my vote! Can't imagine the number of bottles that would otherwise be thrown out each day.

Towels need to be replaced as they are yellow with age and stained even if they were freshly laundered. Wifi was patchy - connection kept dropping and I ended up using our own data for a work call. Good thing we had the alacarte menu for breakfast - we would have been happy with a continental option but the selection at the counter was quite limited.

The room was very well set out and the bed was very comfortable. Two different sized pillows provided a good nights sleep. I did have a noise issue in my first room (I think an aircon unit on the roof) and the staff were very happy to move me to another room and the problem was solved. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the middle of all the action and close to a lot of very good cafes and restaurants. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The pool was on the cool side because it is mostly shaded. I would have liked to be able to walk into the pool rather than climb down a ladder as my knees are not good. However sitting around the pool was pleasurable.

My husband & I recently stayed at Maison Aurelia for the first time & it certainly will not be the last. Our stay was fabulous & the service received was superb from our check-in to our check-out! All staff were extremely polite, friendly & professional in all of our dealings from the Door Man, Room Attendants, Reception Staff & Wait Staff to Spa Staff. A hugely special mention must go to Gustu (Guest Relations/ Reception) who provided exemplary service & assistance to us to sort out a minor issue. Gustu is an asset to your Team & is warmly remembered by us for his help & very happy disposition. Indah at Cork Restaurant also provided very professional & warm service to us when we dined on several occasions. The food was of a high standard & Tuesday night with a Jazz Trio playing was very enjoyable. We stayed in a Camellia Suite which was Wow & the best we had stayed in to date on our recent travels. Spacious, thoughtfully decorated & comfortable. Beds provided a very cosy sleep following the nightly turn down service & treats delivered by the Room Staff. The pool was great to do laps or just relax by & let the world go by. The Spa located near the pool also provides massage & facial services which were of a high quality. All in all we were sorry to leave this wonderful oasis so close to shopping, restaurants & the beach but will certainly return on our next visit to Sanur. Highly recommended!

Staff were friendly and attentive (e.g., when we checked in, I mentioned that one of us was sick and would appreciate a room that was relatively quiet throughout the day, the receptionist checking us in ensured that we had a room sheltered from noise). Loved the water fill-up station on our floor. The room was spacious, stylish, and eminently comfortable. Fantastic bed and bedding. The treats at turn-down time and provided toiletries and amenities such as beach tote, bath robes, mineral water, pour-over coffee servings, and slippers, were just right. The pool area and spa matched the elegance and quality of the room.

Noticed some very minor stains/marks on rug and furniture in room. No bath, only shower, in bathroom. Restaurant was closed for annual renovation/cleaning, which we were not informed of until after we booked. Television could be larger and be setup to allow for use of streaming services. (I think it just played cable channels.) Breakfast was highlighted as an amenity, but did not seem to be available when we were visiting.

Love this hotel. Large comfortable rooms, ultra comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Cool pool which I love as some are just too warm and feel like I'm taking a bath at other hotels. Staff are so accommodating. Massages are really great and not expensive. Always stay at the Maison on my arrival into Bali and before I fly back home. Hard to beat.

The guy singing at the restaurant next door gets a bit hard going night after night, but that's Bali!

Beds are quite comfortable. Good location plenty of good restaurants in the surrounding. Hotel is also within a walking distance to the beach.

Bathroom is a little tired. Water stains, moldy sealants. Airco is super cold even at 22 deg or maybe we just didn't know how to operate it properly so at nights we ended up sleeping without one. but didn't bother us really.
