Clean, great room, perfect breakfast, great helpful staff.

Very confusing reservation by booking.com. I lost the first reservation as I didn't realise I was suppised to confirm my credit card!

We drove by car from Tokyo. Coming to Toyama was a longtime dream for me as a resident in Japan for 17 years. Everything was so smooth. Location perfect. staff very kind. High rise bedroom with decent view. Easy to pick up the car and go to the beach or mountain anytime and enjoy local evening dinner.

As a foreigner, I do speak Japanese. But at first Japanese would not know. So, when I am with my friend, who is a Japanese woman, staff tend to address to her only without even looking at me. I think it is linked with language, and staff most likely think I do not speak Japanese, and they do not necessarily speak good English, or it is status quo between Japanese people. I think this is not a hotel in Toyama issue, but that would be appreciated if the staff could more freely address to foreigner in Japanese and English. Because you never know, a foreigner like me might have been in Japan forever and speak Japanese !! :)

• Excellent location with a wonderful view overlooking Toyama Castle. • Friendly and helpful check in desk - helped us book a restaurant, took care of deliveries and helped with car park. • Quality of tea and other room beverages was excellent. • Bath took some time to fill, but was good. • Good small desk in the room which served as an excellent work space.

• Poor temperature control in the room. As the temperature was set centrally by the hotel, the room was often too warm. • Windows were sealed, so the room could not be ventilated. • In-house restaurant's food offering was pretty average

We had a corner room which was very spacious with a lovely view. The cleanliness was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was amazing - one of the best we have had. Nice, easy 10-15 minute walk from Toyama station. Lots shops/restaurants nearby. Perfectly convenient location for when you have completed the Alpine Route.

The décor in the room was not so modern. The bed was a bit lumpy. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was closed.

Friendly staffs, they even gave us 2 free tram tickets. Room is spacious and nice view of toyama city

About 10mins walk from Toyama station and about 4 tram station away. So we have walk up early and to walk a bit to take train for the Alpine route. Beware of the time for train connection.

The breakfast is delicious. I lost my wallet in the pub during my travel, and the counter service staff help me contact the police and the pub to check. Their patience help me finally get back my wallet. I would like to recommend this hotel, and it gave me a very good memory for this travel.

We got to check in early, which is pretty unusual in Japan, and therefore a coffee in our corner room on the 12th floor overlooking both the castle and the northern alps. Room was of a good size and very clean and comfortable. Staff were efficient and helpful, calling us a taxi when we needed to get somewhere quickly, and lending us umbrellas on a rainy evening. The hotel is a 15minute walk from the station - otherwise, the two are connected by bus and tram - and is a short stroll away from a range of restaurants and bars. There are cheaper options in town, but - I'm guessing - without the comfort, views and convenience of ANA Crowns Plaza. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Mattress toosunken, pillows way too soft and flat. Sleep wasnt very good

Everything, politeness and helpfulness of staff. Room was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was very clean. Would definitely stay again. Location was also brilliant, just over the road from Toyama Castle and less than a 20 minute walk from the Toyama Museum of Glass. Had a fantastic stay.

The reception staff are very helpful especially in booking lovely Japanese restaurants for dinners and helping us to find ways to go to some places. Breakfast is good.
