The staff made it easy to access the property, which was in a brilliant location to explore the old town. Despite being just a few minutes' walk from all the restaurants and site-seeing places, it was in a very quiet street, and felt safe. The apartment was in a charming, characterful building, and was nicely decorated, with lots of space. It was a really nice touch to provide coffee capsules for the coffee machine, tea bags and biscuits. Good value for money, and I would recommend this property to anyone coming to Angoulême.

Although clearly indicated in the property description that there was no proper kitchen, and no sink, it would have been nice to have a kitchen sink in order to wash up our plates and cups. It was tricky doing this in the bathroom basin! We also felt that the wifi connection wasn't good, but perhaps this is only in the top floor apartment and the other rooms have a stronger connection.

We were lucky enough to get the ground floor with small patio, since we had bicycles. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Great kitchen. The powerful standup fan was more than enough to keep us comfortable during the hot days and evening. The washing machine was much appreciated but it takes 3 hrs to complete a load. The apartment is walking distance from restaurants, markets and sights.

This is a little nitpicking but decor left a bit to be desired. We felt the check- in procedure is cumbersome.

Charming little BnB in the historic centre of Angoulême, just a stone through away from restaurants and bars. The house was calm and well maintained; the room spacious and provided everything needed including coffee and toiletries. WiFi was strong and reliable. The team was so kind as to let me check in early for my work - much appreciated. Thank you!

Cleaning could be improved a tad: there were think layers of dust by the windows and below the bed - not so great for someone who's sensitive towards dust = sneezing nonstop

Convenient for the town and locality. very clean and helpful concierge.

Apartment 5 was top floor so lots of stairs which are hard to climb as they are not level. The floor (and so the beds) also slope. The Wi-Fi is great on the stairs (250Mbs) but the apartment is out of range and signal to 4Mbs inside so is unusable. concierge tried to help but a Wi-Fi booster is needed or warning that apt5 has no signal.

I come to Angoulême because of my Beloved man. 01/06/2018 was the most wonderful Summer in Hong Kong because I knew him. I like this bedroom where is beautiful, clean, and bright with good location. It's easy to check in. 01/06/2023 is a memorable Spring in France for fifth anniversary acquaintance… When the day I release of control to pursuit my beloved one, I will come back here again•

Very clean and airy with nice bedding and towels. The location in the city is exactly where we wanted to be right in the Centre. Very good value for the money. The host Sebastian worked hard to accommodate us.

Unfortunately Booking.com mislead you when initially booking. ‘Photographs show a ground floor apartment with access to a patio and garden but you don’t necessarily get that when you arrive. There are 4 floors to this building and only one apartment gets to use the patio and garden. We arrived to find ourselves 4 floors up with no patio as described in our confirmation booking!!! Luckily Sebastian the host was contactable and he did try hard to resolve this issue. there isn’t anyway to point out the above to Booking.Com and the owner Sebastian does not have control over allocation of rooms - so be aware

We liked the location. It was warm and comfortable and easy to access.

From about 5.00 in the morning, there was the sound of furniture being dragged across the floor. That was what it sounded like! It went until about 8.00 am. We found it very disturbing since there was no sign of anyone moving out. Loud ghosts, a poltergeist! Perhaps the perpetrators didn't realise the noise could be heard so clearly.

The apartment was situated in a quiet street but so close to everything in the old town. It was spacious and tastefully decorated making the most of some of the original features.The outside space was wonderful especially when it was hot. It was ideal for sitting out and having breakfast in a morning and a meal in the evening . It was generally very well equipped.

It had a fan but I would imagine it could get very hot in the apartment without air conditioning. A little thing but "glass" wine glasses please.

Location great. The courtyard is most definitely the winner. Worked from there all afternoon and enjoyed the sun. The bed is big and comfortable and the shower works well.

The layout's a bit odd and some parts of it looking/feeling a little tired. But for a night or two, it's perfect really. The courtyard and central location are definitely the winners here.

Spacious,comfortable apartment with a little balcony overlooking the garden. Quiet street in central Angouleme Close to the Hotel de Ville/Castle, restaurants and shops. Check in was great - key codes and Sebastien was very helpful. We parked just outside and then fed the meter at 8.30am (free parking in the evening and overnight) I would stay there again.

Not much to dislike! Would be good to use the garden. Maybe a pint of milk.
