Small, family run hotel near to town and the beach. Very nice pool. Had a family room for two of us that had a double bed and 2 singles. Argeles is a busy centre so it was nice to come back and relax by the pool. Pleasant area by the pool and games available like Scrabble etc. Friendly staff.

Only one of the air conditioning units worked in the room and even though we were promised it would be fixed this didn't happen during our 3 night stay. Bathroom for the size of the rooms was tiny! Would have been nice to eat dinner in the hotel as there was a very nice area by the pool but only served breakfast. Very limited bar and no food!

It's very close to the beach and at a quieter end but you can still walk to the touristy part. The hotel was really clean, you can literally smell the fresh laundry everywhere. The staff are friendly, the breakfast was lovely and it was great to have a pool too. The terrace for the room was huge, an added bonus.

The shower was odd. It was really small and only had glass on one side so it was really difficult to not get the floor wet.

The room was very spacious . And the bathroom was also above standards: equipped with a VERY large walk - in rainshower. The location is somewhat out of the centre but easy reachable. It is situated in a nice residential zone. Strolling 10 minutes along the beachboulevard and you reach center Argelès. Argelès is good for beachholidays: wow! never seen such a big beach. But there is more: visit Perpignan and the palace of the Kings of Mallorca and dont forget the lovely Collioure with nice harbour and stunning summercastle of the Majorcan Kings. And guess what ? the local bus brings you to these places for 1 euro!! Merci Pays occitane!

Well located and with a really relaxed atmosphere, Le Maritime is a lovely small-scale hotel that really suited our family group of young adults. Excellent staff, chilled vibe and a great pool area that never gets too busy.

The rooms would benefit from having a fridge and coffee-making facilities

Booked a deluxe room with balcony. It was very spacious in the bathroom, bedroom and on the balcony. Nicely decorated and clean inside. The hotel is well situated with a very short stroll to the beach and centre plage. I have made some negative comments below but that said I would stay here again as they are easily resolved and the room makes up for it

When we arrived the receptionist came in from lounging around the pool area. Not very professional. She explained her colleague had a day off. They were not prepared for my arrival. However, she called the manager who sorted things quickly. The photo of the pool on booking.com gives the impression of a much larger pool area, it was quite small and compact. The balcony, one outside chair and the table was covered in birds mess, which was slightly off-putting.

The welcoming, friendly staff, the cleanliness everywhere and the clean bedroom. Bathroom was very clean and newish looking, although it could have done with a shower curtain :) the beach was close by, the kids and us parents loved it, short walk to amazing selection of restaurants, amazing food and drink. And loved wandering through the little streets lined with quirky shops. Some were built around the trees. Friendly vendors. Hard to resist buying clothes and trinkets. Recommend this place highly. We did only stay one night on our way through to Spain, but got there in plenty of time togo out and have some fun in the sun etc. Good value for money including breakfast.

Excellent hotel with a superb location everything within walking distance . Lovely quiet, clean and friendly hotel. Bright open and clean room with everything you need. Excellent air conditioning and lovely balcony. Lovely pool area with sun loungers and umbrellas for shade if wanted.

The people were nice. The pool area is very good and a lifesaver on a hot day. Aircon in rooms and the shower were the hotspots of the rooms. The secure parking is good. The location is excellent, being 100m from the seafront and 5min walk from shops and restaurant's. We loved our 2 days there

Beds in room were very firm. Breakfast was a reasonably acceptable continental spread without being a wow. Not e Pugh plugs one on.WiFi did Not work well with our devices. Broken pool gate should be replaced.

Very comfortable, clean, and welcoming . It is a lovely small, quiet hotel, brilliant breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and owners. We would definitely recommend using this hotel to our friends and family.

good location 2 min walk to the beach . 10 mins to the restaurants cafes etc.

although a fairly modern bathroom , it wasn’t a wet room but the shower had no front screen or curtain on so everything got wet while having a shower so much so that the carpet in the bedroom was very wet …. not good this needs attending to.
