The hotel is very comfortable, clean and well located. Their own description of facilities is honest and true. The staff are helpful, friendly and attentive. The EV charger was a bonus for us, it's a 10.4 KW charger, charged at 10€ for one charge, so our advice is to use the time well. We will definitely use the hotel again.

A small concern. The coffee making facilities were a bit high in our room. Located on top of a cabinet we thought it a little dangerous as you have to reach over holding a boiling kettle.

Great location, close walk from the train station, as well as the downtown area and beaches. We loved the breakfast option. The hot tub was great, with a good view. The pool said it was heated, but it was pretty chilly for our crew. We didn't end up spending much time in the pool, but did enjoy the hot tub. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The pool said it was heated, but didn't feel very warm. We did stay in early April, so perhaps it gets warmer with the weather.

The climb from town and then again to pool! Handy for station though, despite short uphill climb. NB the pretty tree-fringed far end of solarium also can mean mosquito bites!

The room was very well appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, we had the deluxe room. The tea making facilities in the room were adequate but the tea was awful. We did ask for fresh milk and this was not a problem The pool area was great and spotless Breakfast was ok a bit hit and miss, the eggs bacon and sausage available were ok but not warm enough for me, the selection of cold options was sufficient. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleaners did a fantastic job as the hotel was spotless

The ambience of the Hotel from the welcoming greeting to the beautiful views from the balcony & jacuzzi, pool area, like a resort. Room was clean, comfortable, large & like a roomy unit with kettle, cups coffee & tea, mini bar/fridge. Breakfast was great a good variety. Close to train. Collioure is a beautiful town with lots of walking areas, restaurants, cafes, shops Historical landmarks. .

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. All spoke English - very fortune as our French language skills were sadly lacking. Charlotte was especially helpful in enabling us to do a local wine tour. We felt valued guests and extended our stay to 2 nights. The pool area and breakfast was great too. No hesitation in recommending.

We prefer a toilet in the bathroom not separate from it. Didn’t use the small patio area off room.

This hotel is very professionally run. All the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was very good but a bit on the expensive side. The hotel is located very close to the train station and also has car parking which we had to reserve beforehand. The centre of town is less than a 10 minute walk downhill and we easily walked up and down a few times over the few days we stayed. The standard room was very clean but small. The swimming pool and lounge area were excellent.

There is no lift - thankfully we were on the first floor. Otherwise, it would be quite a chore dragging luggage up a second or third flight of stairs. The breakfast was 25% more expensive compared to other hotels in France while the car parking was almost 100 % more expensive than other places in France where we stayed which were large cities. However, car parking everywhere in Collioure is expensive and scarce so we were glad to be able to reserve a place.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Parking in front of the hotel was great ( charge of 17 Euros), we could check into our room earlier than stated time. Swimming pool area and jacuzzi were lovely with great views. 5 minute walk into centre. The receptionist gave us a map and gave us some recommendations, including going for aperitif at Balcón del Mar which we did and it was perfect. The breakfast was wonderful, so many choices and there is a lovely exterior terrace to eat it on. After checking out of the room we could leave the car in its parking place till 1oclock so we could go to the Wednesday market and take a ride on the little train up into the vineyards which is definitely worth doing. We loved Collioure and the Hotel Madeloc, we will be back!

One night wasn't enough!

All of the facilities were extremely clean. The room, bathroom, deck, pool, hot tub & steam room (hammam) were exceptionally clean! The staff was very, very friendly and accommodating. It was in a great location, which was far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful with only a short 10-min walk to the town center.

The breakfast was just ok. For 15euros, it seemed a bit expensive. There were plenty of bread options (croissants, brioche, etc) but the cheeses and meats were a small selection and didn't seem to be of the highest quality (especially the meats.) Of course, it would have been great to have had an elevator, but we did manage to make it up and down the stairs each day!

Friendly and helpful staff. They were very responsive when we messaged before hand about parking. We had to amend our parking booking prior to our stay and there was no issue with this. Comfortable, clean room and nice options for breakfast. Short walk into Collioure itself and the train station. Lovely rooftop pool and jacuzzi.
