It is the perfect place to stay when visiting Bergerac. Located in the old town, near the river, the house is amazing, luxurious comfortable and very quaint. The hosts are both amazing, they do their very best to make you feel welcome, they are very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The room we stayed in was exceptional, we had a four poster bed that was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and with great local products. This is a real treat and my husband and I feel very lucky to have stayed there.

Perhaps the most beautiful location in Bergerac? Beautiful decor and super warm reception from Nicolas. Breakfast was spectacular and 4 poster bed luxurious.

The very upstairs room was warm, offset by a powerful fan, but air conditioning a must in the very hottest summer for a good night's sleep. Nicolas said this was coming online next year (the house is only recently acquired).

Amazing house, superbly decorated with only 3 rooms. The location is in the nicest part of Bergerac and short walking distance to everything. In between activities the house feels like home to rest in the lounge, kitchen or spacious bedroom. Our 3 hosts were delightful and so hospitable.

This property oozes charm. Location is perfect for a stay. The room was exceptional, very quaint and beautifully decorated . The sitting areas were furnished exquisitely. To top it off the hosts were charming, friendly, and helped in every way. And the breakfast was just right!

A beautifully maintained historic property in the heart of Bergerac. we were looking for accommodation which felt authentic and French and this really delivered. Bergerac is clearly steeped in history and this property allows you to feel part of it.

Quite warm in the room (a fan would have helped)

We had fabulous hot weather (35 degrees plus) but the property had no air conditioning. We were in the loft room and it was baking hot. We did have one fan but it just circulated warm air.

Beautiful and fabulously decorated hotel in a very old building in the middle of the medieval quarter, a moment away from the river. There’s a gorgeous sitting room overlooking an old square for guests to use. The owners were sweet and helpful and very accommodating!

We loved it! So beautiful and charming and in a fantastic location. The bedroom was lovely with a super comfortable bed and great bathroom. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return for another stay.

Charming. Hosts delightful and very helpful. Spotlessly clean. Carried my luggage to the taxi pick up. Bed incredibly comfortable with lovely bed linen. Spoke excellent English.
