The staff were absolutely amazing. So lovely, warm and welcoming! The best service in a hotel we have had in a long, long time. They couldn’t make us feel more welcome. Breakfast was fantastic with lovely home made items and local produce, which was a really nice touch. The location is good, not too far out of town but a little walk. The rooms was an OK size with comfortable and good amenities. But honestly I would come back every time for the welcome we received!

The room we stayed in was on a corner and so a little odd in shape, which made the layout less convenient than ideal. We had a baby in a cot which worked OK - but a bit more space would definitely have helped. There could have been a bit more space. Also no mini bar - which is not vital but it’s helpful to have a fridge in the room and some options for snacks/drinks sometimes.

My flight was delayed by a couple of hours so I arrived in the evening just before dark.. I did alert the hotel as soon as I found out, communication is key. Tired and hungry, I was welcomed in the warmest kindest way . I was well taken care of by the most gracious staff. These are people who truly understand a traveller's needs. My room was quiet, immaculate and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast highlighted excellent local products served with pride, a delicious and satisfying meal. The atmosphere was joyful and caring. An exceptional positive stay in an independent hotel run by true caring professionals. A delight! A gem! They really go the extra mile. Thank you so much. Merci!

Excellent location. Beach, shoppibg area, restaurants - all in just 20 minutes walk. Very quiet at night, you can only hear the ocean. Everything is very clean. The room was cleaned every day. Water, cookies are supplied every day. Nice breakfasts. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have even sun shades and beach towels that you can borrow - so no neef to bring yours! We also received a nice card and a souvenir our last day. Highly recommended!

The rooms were wonderful. we booked two rooms, a triple and a suite - that was all that was available for our dates as I only booked a week in advance, but the prices were much better than the other hotels (where we would have just had standard rooms). The suite came with a whole extra bathroom, which I hadn't noticed when booking - a nice surprise! The rooms have been newly renovated and to an excellent standard. The bathrooms were great - lovely hot, powerful showers - a must when you are sandy from the beach! The staff were delightful and very helpful in giving us information for our first time in Biarritz. The location was also great. A short walk to La Grande Plage but further back from the hussle and bussle on a quiet street. We also found some lovely eateries walking to the beach which we found much bettter than the ones actually at the beach which were very crowded. We were only in Biarritz for a day but with the view to definitely come back - and when we do we will be staying at the Hôtel Au Bon Coin!

The property offers excellent value for money in a dear area. It’s close to the centre. Parking is free if you cruise around a bit. Our room was small (our choice) but manageable for a couple of nights. Recommend going for a larger room. Staff were great. Nothing too much trouble.

The bathroom was the issue.Long and narrow with toilet on the long wall. Limited knee room. The wet room shower did not drain in right direction. Spend a little more on larger room and these issues will probably disappear.

The hotel was really clean, has a great location and the staff were so attentive, helpful and kind especially with our two year old. The room was spacious and contained two bathrooms which was fantastic for our family. All essential equipment was available (ie hairdryer and fridge) and there was a coffee machine with tasty coffee in the room. The room was maintained to a really good standard and had lovely products available in the bathrooms. We had the continental buffet breakfast on one of the days which we enjoyed as the produce was all supplied from local producers.

Breakfast was very nice. Everything was very clean. Cakes were homemade, brown bread was lovely, compote was a good option Staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location suited to see Biarritz. The staff make beach towels available which is a lovely touch.

The coffee machine in the dining room didn’t give the best coffee, for my taste. A safe in the bedroom would be a good addition.

Very friendly people and nice welcome. We only stood one night and could enter the room before the official check in time. We even were upgraded to a bigger room. The room has everything you need and it is taken care of a lot of additional little things that enhance the room (2 pillows per person, TV with wifi connection, curtain to seperate the third bed from the rest of the room, very fast wifi, very comfortable bed, good distribution of light and sockets, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, green/organic products in bathroom). Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful small hotel . Pleasant and cozy rooms, with many amenities. Small terrace on the upper floor. Comfortable beds , relaxing atmosphere and decor, very clean room /bathroom,and linen smelling great. Homemade breakfast, top quality products, good choices, even 3 different freshly homemade cakes every day. Welcoming owners, very happy to share details about your stay in the hotel and Biarritz. Everything on a range of walking distance in the city. Pubic car parking on the opposite street. Very convenient. Top small boutique hotel in general. Great job!

The welcome from the staff was exceptional, they have absolute pride in their hotel and it shows. The breakfast was fantastic, we loved all the local produce and home made items, it was great value for money too. The room was comfortable and very clean, the hotel smelled pleasant and was clean throughout. The hotel is in a perfect location being very close to the Grand Plage and many other points of interest, but in a quiet street away from any noise. It was also easy to get to by car.

Nothing, the stay we had here was amazing, we wish we had stayed for longer!
