we had a room with sea view, loved to hear the waves at night (bit loud with a window open earlier in the night due to traffic but amazing later in the night). the traffic noise was no issue with the window closed.had a great sleep. very nicely decorated hotel, very charming. the staff was amazing. they have a parking just few meters away which we used and that was very nice. our dog was very welcome and we very much enjoyed the stay. very much would enjoy coming back. I also very much loved the Nuxe products in the bathroom. they are marvelous. location can’t get better from my pov, few steps from the beach and city center. love it.

the breakfast was fine but also not much more than that. I would have enjoyed more fruit and veggies. of course it’s a French breakfast but a view more choices would fit better to the pricing and overall level of the hotel. just a minor improvement but we very much enjoyed the stay.

Lovely spacious rooms, Art Deco style decor in excellent location close to everything and a stone throw to Grand Plage! Comfortable beds and pillows and good shower!

Grumpy and unhelpful breakfast staff. You had to cook your own eggs-boiled, scrambled as well as fried- and make your own tea and no one was polite enough to help or lift a finger to help bring tea to the table or even a “Good Morning” smile or welcome. It just feels a bit sour. No mini fridge in the room. Municipal roadworks started at 6.45am which wasn’t great but not the hotels fault I suppose….

All staff appeared so happy and extremely helpful. Although hotel parking is 20 euros extra, it is only 100 metres from the hotel, and is extremely secure, and accessible anytime by code. Inside the hotel the decor is lovely art deco. Top floor room 505 gives a lovely balcony view of the beach and sea, which are only a couple of hundred metres away. The rooms, like all the hotel, are spotlessly clean and are very well equipped. Well located for the beach and city centre. Reception and bar staff all spoke good English. Very good and comprehensive breakfast served in the hotel.

The hotel does not really serve dinner in the evenings. Saturday night hadn't booked a restaurant, and it was raining heavily, so all nearby restaurants were full. Therefore, for dinner had the hotels microwave meals, which I would not recommend.

The entire hotel, the style and feeling is completely in line with Biarritz, the city. Excellent location - very close to the beach but not in the crowded area. Nice building, comfortable and clean rooms, superb breakfast, good parking option for a fair price. Staff helpful in person

Minor thing - 2 days before our arrival I sent email and message with a parking related question, and did not received answer. On site there was a perfect solution for parking.

Everything was excellent - staff were brilliant and the hotel was fantastic. The art deco feel was superb and the location was brilliant - in the middle of things however away from the main drag enough to be quiet.

Breakfast could have been a bit better for the money - don't get me wrong, it was fine and tasty however could have had more variety.

The style of the hotel was retro style , I liked it.

Biarritz is very nice place but we go there by Flixbus, Town hasnot a a bus station . Halle Iraty is a car park area and you can't understand where the real area untill somebody can explain. There is no station staff or written information . Also when we were trying to go to Bordeaux we miss our flixbus, and there was no taxi , So If you want to go Biarritz please go there by car. Public transportation is so bad.

The hotel fully met our expectations. This is not the first time we use the services of Mercure hotels and we plan to use them in the future.

Unfortunately, hotel services are becoming more expensive, however, this applies not only to Mercure hotels.

Excellent location. Oceanfront rooms have a view of the Biarritz beach.

Would have liked a rubber mat for tub/shower floor. Would have liked grab bars in shower and near toilet.

We took a room with sea view and it was really nice , maybe a bit loud because of the road , but anyhow we enjoyed . The hotel is a bit old , but very well kept and everything is comfy .Good staff , nice breakfast

A beautiful hotel, lovely room overlooking the sea , excellent staff, excellent breakfast. Super comfortable bed. Lovely holiday.
