I had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and with a view of the ocean. I was able to sleep with the balcony door partially open to hear the waves. The room was clean and well maintained during my stay. The breakfast was well stocked and ample. Overall the food was excellent. The outside sitting and lounging areas and the pool area were very comfortable. The location of the hotel right on the beach makes it seem so distant from the busy seaside town that is right out the back door. The parking was close and secure. The staff were amazingly kind and pleasant.

The bed frames are awful. They come up level with the mattress and it is actually painful getting out of the bed. Whoever designed them should be forced to get in and out of them repeatedly for several minutes. I noticed other reviewers have commented on this.

The location is absolutely marvelous. We had a room on a ground floor with a little patio and it was very spacious and comfortable.

There was a general power cut throughout the town that left the town without power for 2h or so. The power at the hotel did not come back until next day. The staff did not communicate anything about it and so we missed that engagement with the customers. Also, the air conditioning did not work for one additional night and, again, one had to ask the staff for help and we escalated our situation to the hotel’s director. There was absolutely no proactive approach and no proactive compensation (even as simple as a note and a complementary voucher or something). That made the experience less joyful.

Beautiful location

Breakfast is served (7:30-10:30) in the hotel restaurant, with view on the ocean. Nice. But around ten, hotel staff start to prepare the restaurant for lunch so you start to feel not welcome and pressed to leave. Moreover, when I asked at 10:15 to get some eggs (none were left ; there were 3 black slices of bacon remaining) I was told that this was totally impossible. I was "too late" and they were not going to serve me. It was only after making a big fuss with two different members of staff that I managed to nevertheless obtain one single boiled egg. It says everything about service mindedness.

The hotel is a nice modernist building, right on the beach and with many bars, shops and restaurants nearby. My room was very tastefully furnished, impeccably clean and with nice boat-deck style floors. I appreciated the coffee maker. The staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast tasty.

Unforunately, I was quite disappointment by the hotel because it was not possible to see the ocean from my room due to the architecture. Maybe other rooms are better, but looking at the room map my room was the worst in that regard. I can only assume that I was given this room as a solo traveller (paying the double rate though...). They offered me to stay on the ground floor, which had the same problem. Also the wifi was very slow with constant need of reconnection. The hotel is brightly illuminated throughout the night, so you need ot keep the blinds down which makes it impossible to hear the waves in the night. There are no curtains.

The location was fantastic, on the beach. Easy walking to restaurants. Rooms were exceptionally clean and staff pleasant and helpful. Lovely bed linen. Pool and surrounding area were never busy. Good pool towels. A balcony was really nice, good view across the beach and sea. Breakfast was great till 10.30am with a wide range of choice. Ate in the restaurant one evening, delicious!

Rooms were quite tight and the bed frame caught the back of your legs when you got in and out.

Staff super friendly from the lovely ladies on reception to Marianne at the bar who was so pleasant and efficient. Hotel facilities were fabulous and a great location for access to the beach and to all the nearby restaurants and shops. Room was spotless ( thanks Valerie )and extremely comfortable with much needed air conditioning. Good selection for breakfast - I will be back!

We advised in advance and again on arrival that my wife, having coeliac disease, required gluten free food. This was confirmed by the hotel by e-mail in advance. For the first day a gluten free breakfast bread was provided but on the second day no gluten free option was available. Also on the second day the scrambled eggs and bacon was not available so my wife had no breakfast and I was also inconvenienced. We complained to reception and were given a discount on our bill. This of course did not compensate for the lack of breakfast.

Great location, great food at the restaurant, nice warm pool, wonderful swimming in ocean.

Rigid hours for coffee and a roll. Slept late due to jet lag, then they grudging agreed to sell me coffee and a roll with jam. (Nothing they had to make!), but only if I sat in a very hot spot. There were 50 empty tables in a cooler area but they were reserved for (imaginary) people who wanted to eat a meal.

Beautiful location right on the beach in Biscarrosse. The hotel felt clean, modern and the staff were very professional and friendly. We ate at the restaurant for dinner which had a nice atmosphere with live music on the Saturday night. The breakfast included with our room was excellent, freshly cooked and lots of choice.

The spa and pool could have been open earlier - we had to leave after breakfast so didn't get chance to use it. The air conditioning in our hotel room didn't work, which wasn't really a problem as it wasn't too hot.

Some regular building maintenance would help the overall quality, noisy public spaces in front of the hotel late at night
