I was in contact with the hotel when I did the booking, and before our arrival, regarding some questions. As a frequent traveler, both privately and for business, I prioritize a healthy indoor environment, which for me also includes avoiding hotels that are polluting the indoor environment with scented cleaning detergent and/or "air fresheners" etc. Best Western Arcachon Le Port replied that they only use nonscented products for cleaning the rooms, and no "air fresheners" is used. Upon arrival, this was 100% confirmed, and it met our expectations. We got two bright and clean rooms. Both rooms had small balconies. The hotel offers a good breakfast which, we also enjoyed a lot. During our 4 day stay, we also had the pleasure of using the rooftop bar at the hotel, which offers a nice view over Arcachon. The hotel is located in a nice quiet area, approximately 1 km from Plage D´Arcachon a beautiful sandy beach. On behalf of the entire family, I can give my warmest recommendation of Best Wester Arcachon Le Port. And if we are again in the area of Arcachon, we will for sure book a stay at Best Western Le Porte

A fairly last-minute booking so limited choice but happy with the hotel. Friendly reception who managed to find me a parking space in their car park rather than on the street, which was full. Third floor room clean, comfortable, nice balcony with a view of the port over the rooftops. Nice roof top bar. Hotel is slightly out of the main town in a quiet and 'gentile' neighbourhood; about a 15 minute walk which was pleasant in the sunshine along the promenade between the port and the town. Huge sandy beaches and a town buzzy with generous choice of restaurants. Railway station about 1km distance which we used, as suggested by the receptionist, for a day trip to Bordeaux (much better than driving as the road was very slow when we did it the next day on our way home, and parking would have been expensive). Didn't have breakfast at the hotel; croissant by the railway station on one day then breakfast in town en-route home the next.

Nothing, short of picking the whole building up and moving it into town! Would be happy to stay there again.

The hotel is in a quiet part of the town, very close to Plage d´Eyrac and to numerous restaurants. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, staff were very helpful. There is a lovely terasse on the roof, where you can have a drink in the afternoon/evening. The room was a bit small, but I had everything I needed and a lovely balcony leading to the quet parking place. For those without a car, a bike rental is nearby. I had a very nice time in the Best Western Arcachon Le Port hotel and will definitely stay there again if I am ever back in Arcachon.

Everything was perfect.

Great location with secure parking. Very fresh and clean. Lovely quiet room with a great bathroom. Lovely girl on reception, who was most helpful, in every way. TV hidden away. appropriate, large bright mural on the wall. Security safe. Everything we needed, on our journey North.

Could have more electric sockets. Strange curved shelf under the TV fixture. Not really big enough to work on.

Great stay! The hotel is recent or has been renovated. It is located a good 15-minute walk from the train station but has very easy access to the Port and beach. The room was spotless. I very much appreciated that a coffee/tea service was offered. The staff was also nice and helpful. My request for late check out was accommodated although during a busy season. I would stay again next time I visit Arcachon.

Grand Atlantic Hotel is in between a three-star and a four-star hotel (it is rated as a four-star hotel). The hotel is modern and the room we had was nicely decorated with a big bed in a good size room (the first one we got was, however, much smaller - had to change (luckily!) because of a double booking). The bathroom was comfortable, and the breakfast was good having everything you could expect. The hotel is in a residential area with 15+ minutes’ walk from the city center but the closest beach could be reached in 5+ minutes. The roof top area is nice.

Even though the hotel is comfortable, we missed the extra details and atmosphere you can expect from a four-star hotel, for example there were no minibar (however a fridge), no glasses in the room (only paper mugs), and not a comfortable lounge area. However, we can recommend this hotel but be careful with the room selection.

The upgraded room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We arrived late, and the front desk employee was very helpful. We found front street parking and didn't need to pay for parking.

Pretty much everything was good. As stated on the site, the nice beach is about 30 minutes walking. Not much around the area.

All the staff were super friendly. We had problems with a motorcycle breakdown while we were here and all the staff were fantastic and couldn't be more helpful (special thanks to Nicolas and Matilde). We will definitely come back here again.

It could have been closer to the centre, but we knew where it was when we booked it.

A refurbished hotel on a quiet street with a roof terrace which has a bar and fabulous view but no pool. The rooms are air conditioned, bed comfortable, plenty of hot water. Good breakfast and plenty of private parking. The staff are lovely and very helpful who speak moderate English.

We chose this hotel mainly for the secure parking and also the central location, both of which it offered. From our arrival, the staff were charming and helpful. The room was great, the bed huge and very comfy and the little bar area was well stocked. Breakfast was good too. All round a comfortable hotel in a central location for discovering Arcachon.
