We really liked this hotel for a one night stop over. The view from the room, looking down into Boulogne and to the left of the Cathedral was lovely and a super start to our holiday. The inclusive breakfast was good, varied and plentiful and the ceiling in the breakfast room was beautifully painted with a classical scene. There was free parking across from the hotel and also a large car park further round. There were several restaurants to choose from in the old town under the arch by the Cathedral.

The room was a bit 'brown' and dated but everything else was great so we didn't mind!

Location is very close to the centre of the walled town, just a very short stroll to the lovely shops and restaurants. The room is functional and adequate, albeit a little compact. Perfect for a one night stop, but storage space is limited so a longer stay could be an issue if you have lots of luggage. The ladies on the reception desk were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing; such an extensive choice of food to choose from, good coffee and great teas. Secure parking is available, which is really handy, but at €10/day it's not cheap!

Everything was good!

This hotel is ideally situated just outside the old fortified walled part of Boulogne. Limited parking is available (by advanced reservation) but we managed to find free off-street parking outside - spaces that are unlikely to be available in the city's main tourist season. Our room was quiet and suitably sized with a good modern functional bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

It would be good to see Tea and Coffee making faclities retrun to hotel rooms following their (presumed) removal during the Covid 19 pandemic.

We were given a room for a disabled person which we were not expecting however we actually needed it as I was having difficulty walking. The room was very large with a sitting and dining area as well as a fridge and stove top. Breakfast was included and was exceptional given that we had paid 10 euros the day before for a far inferior breakfast. We have stayed here many times before and always enjoyed it. So handy for the old quarter.

Nothing really

good secure parking (shared with the local gendarmes) with entrance alongside the hotel. room O.K. but rather small, as was the bathroom (as may be expected in a prime location in a popular town, so no complaints). comfortable lounge bar with excellent snacks. tasty and varied breakfast. pleasant terrace sheltered from the wind.

an awning over the terrace would have made it perfect- it rained just before our arrival, and seating was still damp. the entrance to the excellent parking was insufficiently signed-luckily for us, while we were still pondering, a police car arrived and a very helpful gendarme showed us the way to get in and out.

location wise this hotel is spot on, your no more than a couple of minutes walk from everything really. There is bookable onsite parking for €10 per night. It’s worth noting that access to this is via a tight entrance so if you have a ‘big’ car you may struggle to get it in here. The staff are really friendly and helpful even when your French lets you down. the Buffett breakfast offering was really good every morning, cereals, pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, fresh fruit…… plenty for everyone.

The room got really warm, there was a fan but room would have benefited from AC. City centre location meant you couldn’t leave the window open all night due to the noise.

The staff were really helpful and location is superb. This is a character property with small rooms, but comfy. It is different with a bar and pavement tables. The breakfast was an added bonus. Off street parking is 10€ and secure, but plenty of free over the road depending on the day/time.

The slowest lift in town! (I used the stairs)

The location was excellent, just outside the old town we could walk everywhere. Amazed that there was free parking directly opposite the hotel. Great Moroccan restaurant within walking distance just on the other side of the old town. Room size was very small however did what it said on the tin and had all we needed. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, good choice of various foods - cereals, yoghurt, breads, cheese, ham, eggs, pastries, hot and cold drinks.

The price of the drinks in the bar. Outrageously expensive compared to those in the bars in town. Which was a shame as it would have been nice to relax at the hotel after a days walking before going out for the evening. Don't bother with the bar at the hotel over priced and no ambience venture into town and you're spoilt for choice.

Welcoming reception area which doubles as a bar in the evening and breakfast area. Friendly English speaking staff. Rooms are quite small but comfortable, clean and warm. Very good breakfast included in the price. Well situated immediately opposite the entrance to the old town walls, with plenty of free parking around the walls.

Location is excellent, close to old part of town. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious coffee. This was at least our third stay in this hotel and we will return next year.

Can’t think of anything. We had a good stay. Staff were all helpful and polite.
