When I arrived at the hotel, I did not have my wallet ( money ) at all, but the person at the hotel were very very kind and helpful, even tried to solve the situation. After somehow we figured it out the situation, I was able to check in. I ate dinner at the place. The dinner was very nice. I really enjoyed homemade jam, local cheese and Genepi. I asked some questions about local traditions, history, etc. He answered everything and I learned Bourg-Saint-Maurice a lot.

Location was good. Parking & bike storage safe & secure. Owners very friendly & helpful, fabulous breakfast & dinner was delicious. Very clean & lovely thoughtful touches throughout. Beds comfortable, great shower, very cosy. We would definitely stay again.

Our room was quite compact & on the second floor. We would book a larger room on the ground or first floor next time. Other than that which was our choice when booking a twin room, there was nothing further to dislike…..everything was great!,

Thierry, was the perfect host, very friendly and welcoming. He organised the breakfast which was excellent; fresh bread, croissants, cereals, cheese, homemade jam, juice, tea and coffee. A perfect start to the day. The rooms were warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. The location was very central, only 5 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the funicular to the ski slopes. Also convenient for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely repeat our stay.

Value for money, central location, quiet traditionally-panelled room with en-suite bathroom, good breakfast, obliging host. There were sweets and complimentary bottled water in the room.

The flow of water in the shower is really shameful, the rooms are small but perfect for us.

Outstanding location centre-ville close to the station for access on foot. Excellent breakfast and choice of meals for dinner- absolutely delightful hosts. Lovely clean room with magnificent view.

Location of the hotel was good for our cycling and Thierry allowed us to use the on-site secure bike storage. Thierry was a great host and looked after us at breakfast with homemade honey and jam for our bread and croissants.

The Hotel Arolla is very comfortable and clean. It has everything required plus some discrete off road parking for motorcycles. What set it apart is the hospitality which was second to none. I received great advice on the local area and routes which helped me avoid the worst of the weather. The food was great too. I hope to return...

the proprietor went far beyond the usual service to accommodate me and my needs, an extremely kind and generous man. He and his wife do all the work there and it is immaculate. She is a good cook as well for the dinners. The breakfasts are very adequate as well. Rarely do you get service like this.

Nothing I did not like. It's not 5 star, but so what. I did not need that and besides the price was a great bargain.

This family run hotel was an excellent place to stay. Nice rooms, clean and tidy. Friendly staff. A good solid breakfast and dinner. I didn't get the chance to go into town, but it was just a short walk away.
