The hotel is very attractively designed with modern colourful furniture. The shower room was great and there was a hairdryer! Even though there is no tea or coffee in the room the member of staff on duty in the evening happily made us a big mug of tea to take up to our room. Great location - just a few minutes walk to the historic town and restaurants just over the road.

I was a little disappointed in the breakfast (although my husband liked it). The scrambled eggs were very odd perhaps made from a packet? The bread seemed to be an array of bread from Lidl (which is good but a French pain would have been nice). The croissant I had was undercooked.

Nice and stylish little hotel next to the old town. Friendly staff. There is a parking field in the front of the hotel, where You can park but its not cheap. There is a small market hall next to the parking field and don't miss the Denoix Distillery which is also just few meters away... this town is amazing, full with friendly bars and small shops.

The rooms was small, but no problem if You don't have much luggages.

Great location just outside the old center where many good restaurants are found and conveniently located across the road from public parking (free at night). Friendly and efficient staff. Wide, comfortable bed. Our room on the 4th floor was quiet even though it faced a busy road.

Apart from the nice bed, there was not much room for anything else.

While most hotel rooms in Europe are small, ours was a reasonable size, and with a very comfortable bed. The rooms are well soundproofed and have air conditioning which worked extremely well given the heat while we were there. The breakfast was outstanding and inexpensive. The location is perfect for cafes and restaurants, and less than five minutes to the centre of Brive. The car park across the road is not free, but there is no charge between 1900 and 0700, so we only paid if we parked during the day. A highly recommended hotel We will stay there again upon our return.

This hotel is our favourite and we will be staying regularly. The decor is beautiful and so well done. The staff are always there and helpful. The rooms themselves are like an oasis of tranquility. So peacefully quiet and even the AC is silent and keeps the room at the perfect temperature. The beds are the most comfortable you can imagine. Large windows let in all the light you would need but the curtains will block out the light if you need to sleep in the day and the lighting the rooms do have is very nice because it is not harsh in the night. The tv is very good quality with nice backlight and there is never any buffering so they have good internet too. The shower has incredible pressure which is usually rare in hotels, especially in the city. The location could not be more ideal with the parking lot directly in front you don’t have to carry your bags far and it is surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The breakfast they provide is also the best we have ever had in any hotel we’ve stayed at. There is a great variety for anyone’s tastes and everything is fresh and kept constantly stocked up. There is honestly nothing you could fault about this excellent establishment. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Great location in small town of Brive in the Dordogne. Lots of cafes and restaurants very nearby. Comfortable and clean, good air conditioning. Also countryside walking routes and train station accessible from this location.

Everything was good.

Great small independent hotel, modern comfortable and immaculately clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfy beds and pillows. Internet tv. Great breakfast. Right on the edge of the old town and opposite a large car park. A real find booked at the last minute.

the property was immaculate and in a very central location

There was nothing wrong with the property. My one observation is that the parking opposite can get busy so you’re better off parking in the underground car park behind the car park which cost us €8 for 16 hours.

Nothing really

The location next to the town is great and with a car park opposite it is easy to find and access. The decor is slightly quirky which we like and it’s all spotlessly clean. The room we had was not overly large but comfortable which all made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. we’ll be back.
