+ location (next to the suquet, and the ferrys, the festival palace, the beaches on the Croisette) + beautiful old hotel + breakfast terrace (wonderful to sit) + staff (breakfast, reception, elevator, everyone was very helpful and professionell) + size of room and view + WIFI

- bathroom was a little bit disfunctional (no place where one could put used towels, mirrors to far to really check .. ) - noise until after midnight from the restaurant below

This place was an eclectic mix of french style and yet outdated. I really liked it. Great location. Wonderful views from the fourth floor. Nice lounge/ bar. Very helpful staff. Our room was large but again, outdated. It made this place sort of quirky and yet totally comfortable. Great value here.

The obvious: outdated. No room service or full service restaurant but you are surrounded by them...so. No counter space in the bathroom and I wish the AC was a little cooler. It's HOT in the summer. No real deal breakers tho.

The hotel is in an excellent location opposite the Gare Maritime, right in the heart of all that's going on. Plenty of bars and restaurants are within very easy walking distance. Our room was surely one of the best, slightly larger, with a balcony, at the front overlooking the marina. Worth the extra price with a large comfortable bed. Double glazing ensured it was quiet. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, without exception.

We liked the arrangement of toilet and bidet separated from the basin and bath, but would have preferred a large shower rather than the small bath with shower attachment. The hotel provides parking (not free) in a nearby public carpark, but access to it is not easy, especially when arriving in the dark when it is busy. You can't pull the car up to the front of the hotel either.

Reception staff very welcoming on arrival with an efficient system for early arrival and bag storage. Excellent location, in amidst restaurants and ice cream parlours and a hive of activity you can literally slip into an oasis of calm,quiet and cool. Short walks to the beaches and old town. Spacious and very well equipped room. I very much appreciated a good sized fridge and our room had a kitchenette in a cupboard which was a great addition. I always like a bath so was delighted to find one. Very good aircon in the room. Lovely views from our sea view balcony. Great option to have continental breakfast delivered if requested, which arrived quickly and at no additional charge. Staff in the breakfast restaurant were very attentive and accommodating. Very good choice at the breakfast buffet. Beach towels were a bonus I had not realised on booking.

Nothing that would cross a threshold for mentioning.

Good value for the view and the location. The fourth floor of the hotel has a stunning view of the marina. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Shopping, restaurants and nightlife are on the doorstep as well as public beaches. I would highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Some noise from the traffic and restaurants late at night, but not too disturbing

The hotel is very nicely located and has its own luxury charm. It is rightly located on La croisette and walkable to all the attractions in cannes. Very near to train station, just a 7 min walk. The owner of the hotel is there at the breakfast room to personally meet and greet the guest and to make sure things are okay. Breakfast is excellent and is quite lavish. The view from the sea view rooms are amazing. The staff of the hotel is very welcoming and helpful at all times. A strip full of busy restaurants and bars is right outside the hotel. Do yourself a favour by booking this hotel as i did after a lot of research. would surely return whenever we visit cannes next! Goodluck

There is nothing much that you wouldnt like about this hotel. Lift is a bit small but all those things are negligible once you stay at this amazing luxurious boutique hotel.

Very cozy and timeless Hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Superb location and although there were works still going on outside they automatically made a reduction to the price to compensate. The breakfast was great and there was complimentary water in a fridge which was welcome at a very hot time. They supplied beach towels and little bags to carry your beach bits and towel in.

I am reluctant to criticise this lovely Hotel but did find stepping in and out of a very high sided bath to shower not the easiest. certainly if you were elderly or not very agile it would be impossible to use. Also, the lift was very slow but neither of these things detracted from our stay.

It was the perfect hotel in Cannes. We had balcony overlooking the harbour which was a joy in itself. The room was always spotless, staff could not have been better and the location was fantastic. I have not stayed in a more enjoyable hotel anywhere and Cannes is a favourite location which never fails to please.

We had a room with a large terrace on the 1st floor, which has been amazing - spacious, modern, clean and great view from the terrace. Our compliments also go for staff which has been caring and attentive. Location is the most central it can be - everything is within reach by foot.

The breakfast has been quite nice. However, there could more variety during the week, because it is exactly the same every day and the offer is rather limited. The neighbourhood is noisy, but window noise isolation is decent and that didn’t bother us too much.

From the moment we were met at the desk to the point when we left nothing was ever to much. Our room was not ready so the provided us with free drinks and snacks in the air conditioned bar/dinnning room. I very rarely comment on stays but this one needed to be. We didn’t realise that you could pull in front of the hotel as it’s a corded off area for pedestrians but if you press the bollard buzzer the police answer and will let you through. Not knowing this we parked under the casino (not far) and checked in. After checking in the most amazing member of staff (Fredrick) walked with me to get my cases and told me about the above. We stayed in the loft room with 3 children and 2 adults and well cannot fault (unless you are over 6ft tall) as the ceiling height is a bit low. It’s a rustic yet beautiful hotel in a prime position. The comments from my girls said it reminded them of the time we stayed in the real Disney land Paris hotel, which says a lot. Bit of advice, as you come out of the hotel there are a lot of very very nice restaurants to the left but travel a bit further down on the left to the end of the main strip and take a right up the narrow streets you will find an amazing world of food and atmosphere.
