We were greeted by Natalie at reception and she was so polite and helpful in guiding us to the sights we wanted to see. The room was very nice with a small balcony over looking the garden. Perfect location to the beach and lots of restaurants. Parking out front at a reasonable price. The breakfast was quite good. The owner Christophe is a wonderful host, asking how your stay is going, and offering suggestions to sights and good restaurants. Very helpful staff. Also liked the resident cat Claudia.

The only thing that would have made it better is a small fridge the room.

A delightful, historical building, beautifully styled with iconic movie stars & just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the tourist hub. There was direct access to the town & beach straight down from the property. There was also an abundance of restaurants. The room had a nice outlook onto the garden, was bright, spacious & the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was light & a good size. The staff were very welcoming & helpful. Christophe was the perfect host & we enjoyed chatting each day. The breakfast was delicious & enjoyed under the breeze of the trees in the garden. Claudia the cat was welcomed us each morning.

The property was on a busy road but there were lights to cross down into town. The was no traffic noise at night. There was no air conditioning in the bathroom but it was a perfect place to dry washing.

Friendly people. Pretty building. Great breakfast. Handly location for the centre. Only 10 minute walk from the train station. Charming garden withoutside seating - very cool in hotter weather I should think. I booked a single use of one of the half-basement rooms, which was comfortable.

My room was comfortable. It was a bit tight on space and clothes hanging space. There was a light sound/drone of something somewhere. Bit disturbing though it didn't disturb my sleep, and I'm a light sleeper. The owner - who is very nice - wondered if it is a new boiler. Maybe they could check it out and tweak something - I didn't mention it until late in my stay. But don't be put off. ITs a charming place, with lots to recommend it.

I haven't written a review for quite some time but the story must be told for Villa Claudia Hotel in Nice. Great hotel in a good location and more importantly, owned by a great man, Christophe. We researched and reserved hotels for our trip to Nice very late - last minute almost and were lucky to have found what was possibly the last available room at the Villa Claudia for our time requested because we stayed at the same time a major conference was going on. So we arrived on day 1 after landing and getting our rental car and driving from Nice airport to Cannes and were greeted by a nice gentleman named Gary. Gary brought our suitcases from the parking lot to the entrance and checked us in. Thankfully, our room was ready because we wanted to shower and hit the ground running in Cannes. Our room was potentially the least desirable room because it was by the breakfast area (room 16) but we didn't care. We still liked our room very much. The room was roomy enough with space to store dirty clothes and hang jackets. The bathroom was spacious, had a tub and was clean. There was a TV mounted to the wall with BBC for English speakers. There was a kettle with tea and coffee - Gary even replaced our kettle during check in because he told us the one in our room was broken - very proactive. Two things that would have added to the experience was there was no safe or fridge. We mentioned great location - you're not on the beach like the Martinez or the Marriott or whatever but the Villa Claudia is just a 5 minute walk away and close to great restaurants and the Rue D'Antibes. Breakfast was pay as you go - we had it two days out of four and it included a nice little continental spread of cold cuts and cheeses, hard boiled eggs, a basket of bread and pastries, cereal, yogurts, fruits, coffee, tea, water and juice.

Enjoyable boutique hotel with lovely garden and staff. 5 minutes walk from Cannes Railway station which connects you to Nice Airport within a short 19-35 minutes railway trip. Just a 5 minutes walk to Le Croisette - but 30 if you watch all luxury shop windows. :) 2 minutes walk to the closest bakery or Super U grocery, 3 minutes walk to superb restaurants "La Cave" and "Uva" or the market Marché Gambetta. The staff was truly so kind, they served us with equipment for our own meals in the garden (I love elegant restaurants one day but also self-chosen articles from the local market the other either. Finally they even offered us a free umbrella when departed for our return flight in the rain.

We had a strange sound as if there was a nylon under our sheet. There were no vegetables with the breakfast and coffee could be better as well - although their tea selection was excellent. Being near to rue d'Alsace, the main crossing road of Cannes, it might not be the calmest place in town during the morning rush hour, but we got perfectly used to it from the 2nd night.

The villa is absolutely stunning and so beautifully decorated. The staff and owners make the property exceptional and they went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible, helping with luggage, making suggestions for our stay and also getting lost property back to us after we had left the hotel. The location is very good being a short walk to Cannes town and beach and we had a lovely view from our room.

The staff are really lovely and take the time to chat to you about your holiday and offer advice! Our room was beautifully decorated, very cozy and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice but simple, just continental style but all we needed. Great location too, close to everything.

Beautiful and cozy villa. Very nice and friendly staff. Great owner who is very caring and happy to help and advise. The villa is in the center of Cannes. Excellent accessibility to the city, the beach, the train station. The balcon room was beautiful and large and newly renovated.

Villa Claudia is a charming period property with an interesting history. Our bedroom was very spacious with a lovely little balcony as was the bathroom . It was excellently positioned to walk to the airport bus stop as well as the beach and shopping street. The staff were very friendly and the beds super comfortable. Everything was very clean. It was very quiet despite the adjacent road with good air-conditioning.

It is adjacent to the main dual carriageway running through Cannes which you had to cross every day. The good double glazing however meant the Villa was still very quiet.

Nice historical villa - large comfortable room - very good breakfast - good location with walking distance to city centre and train station. We enjoyed the beaches, Le Suquet (old town) and a trip to Ile Sainte-Marguerite.
