The host was absolutely fabulous and very helpful - we really enjoyed our stay! There is a cheap public car park ($2 overnight) right in front of the door. The breakfast was awesome and we would definitely stay again!

Hotel is a little hard to find as it is just in an ordinary looking building without a flashing neon sign. It is right next door to the church. Trust Google Maps to find it, perhaps check street view before departure so you can see what it looks like - just find a park in the carpark as close as you can get to where the GPS tells you to go, then get out and find the hotel by looking for the small wall plaque that bears the hotel's name. Push the doorbell button for the host to let you in. Finding it is a bit of a pain but totally worth it!

My stay at the bed and breakfast in Carcassonne was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the charming owner, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing all kinds of thoughtful touches that truly made a difference. The personal attention we received was outstanding, deserving a perfect score of 10. The services offered by the establishment were impeccable, from seamless check-in to assisting whenever needed, again meriting a top rating of 10. Cleanliness is a priority for me, and this place did not disappoint; every nook and corner was spotless, earning a well-deserved 10. The comfort of our room was unparalleled, offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploring Carcassonne, easily a 10. Considering the high level of service, the exquisite breakfast, and the overall experience, the value for money was excellent, making it a 10 in my book. While the location is just a tad shy of perfection at 9.5, it's incredibly well-situated, making most of Carcassonne easily accessible by foot, which was a huge plus for someone looking to explore the city. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay; it was delicious, very comprehensive, and felt luxurious, setting us up perfectly for the day ahead. Overall, this bed and breakfast is a gem in Carcassonne, offering a blend of excellent service, comfort, and value that's hard to beat. It's clear that the owner and staff put their hearts into making guests' stays memorable, and I can't wait to return.

Nothing It was all very good Be aware that the citadel is a long walk and can be hot but there is a tourist ‘train’ for those who can’t walk for long The property doesn’t have a lift so be aware there are stairs ( not narrow)

La Cour Caree faces the tree-lined Saturday Market site, which doubles as a car park during the week. Despite being adjacent to the sometimes busy D119 (Boulevard Barbes), apart from the occasional noisy moped it's a peaceful location. Our room on the second floor overlooking the courtyard was a good size, simply furnished but with a comfortable bed. The adjoining bathroom with walk in shower was large and airy. Breakfast, served attentively by co-host Regis, was of the "continental" type but perfectly adequate in quantity and of good quality. Regis was particularly good at encouraging us with good humour and patience to practice our stumbling French.

It's not something that can easily be changed but some people might find the sink in the ensuite a bit of a challenge for face-washing and wet-shaving because it doesn't feature a plug. But so warm and welcoming were Regis and Karima that it feels churlish to even point this out.

Clear and helpful communication from beginning to end. Great location for everything around Carcasonne. Delicious, filling, fresh breakfast with homemade fruit salad, yoghurt, and jams, honey, croissant, pain au chocolat, baguette, freshly squeezed orange juice, and good tea and coffee. There's space in the quiet square courtyard (La Cour Carree) for some guests to breakfast outside. The accommodation is comfy and kept spotlessly clean. Régis is a superb host, ensuring we had suncream and water when going out during the day, suggesting places to go, booking restaurants for dinner, and a taxi to the airport for us. When out for a cycle ride (helmets supplied), we had a puncture - Régis came out to meet us with a spare bike. Empathetic to our desire to speak French, but switching to English when we might be struggling with the finer detail - thank you.

It's a minor detail; we do a lot of cycling at home and have very good bikes. The bikes could do with a bit of attention...

Regis is an exceptionally friendly and helpful host. We had a room on the second floor and he helped with our bags both checking in and out. He also kindly made a restaurant reservation for us before we arrived and booked a taxi for us on departure. Breakfast was excellent consisting of yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, unique jams and cake. The room was small but very comfortable. We had a wonderful time chatting with Regis over breakfast. I highly recommend.

Regis was an amazing host and couldn't be more helpful. Their home is beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding with fresh homemade delights every morning. Our room was on the ground floor and was just absolutely perfect so clean and cozy. The bathroom was very spacious with an excellent shower. Location was fabulous. everything was close by and within walking distance. We could not have asked for a better accommodation in Carcassonne. Thank you again for such a wonderful holiday.

Le Cour Carree is a beautiful old house, furnished with style and with all the facilities for a comfortable stay. Regis is a wonderful host with whom we had nice chats. He lives in the house and therefore you feel treated more as a friend than as a guest. The room we had for three is ample, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and served in a nice dining room. In front of the house there is also free car parking.

What a fantastic place! From the moment you step inside, you can feel that the hotel is run with passion and dedication. Everything looks beautiful, it's super clean, the beds are fantastic, there's an enormous and delightful shower, and a truly fantastic breakfast with homemade products. We were here to attend a concert but we will definitely return because Regis is such a fantastic host!! Merçi!!

Our host, Regis, was kind and considerate. Upon our arrival, he put us at ease and was warm and friendly throughout our stay. The house is very atmospheric and set in an ideal location in the Bastide, close to all the restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was beautifully laid out, our host was attentive, and on our last morning, he set up early, especially for us, to eat and have coffee before our departure. The bathroom was super, and the beds were comfortable!. Thank you to a wonderful host.
