Exceptional breakfast (Next door Hotel same owner) - best ever on a Hotel - local products and best bread. After accepting our parking the staff were nice and helpful. Close to center of town and easy to walk around in the nice city. Close to station but no noise from trains.

Rooms were a bit too simple, low comfort, and 1 small room (1 OK). 1 room had smell from drain, but if you kept putting water into it, it stopped Had to discuss with staff that I had booked a parking in basement, please just look at booking. Difficult to find parking to unload a family of 5 (but when you know it is fine)

Hotel is situated opposite to the train station. Parking in front of the hotel is allowed for a short period of time. We booked the hotel because of its location and the fact that it has a garage. The hotel is a bit old fashioned and needs some renovations but the staff was very welcoming and the whole hotel was very clean. It's located in the heart of the city which makes it easy for a visit. We ordered a twin room but that was forgotten so they gave us an upgrade to a spacious triple room without additional costs. In fact the room had a small room with a single bed connected to the room with the double bed and a bathroom to share. Very comfy beds; enough room left for luggage etc. Very small bathroom with shower. We added the breakfast to our booking and we were completely surprides about the variety and the choice. It was the best breakfast we had during our whole holiday. If the weather permits, you can sit outside. We also had the best coffee there. Staff was very welcoming and the service was perfect.

A central location, with parking facilities and easy access to the centre of Chartres and the Cathedral. The hotel was modern and well appointed. We eat out both nights -too early in the season for the hotel restaurant starts June 1st. But breakfast was extremely good catering for both European and UK tastes! A good Brasserie next door...ideal for 'people watching' The main city bus station and the railway station are both in the immediate vicinity as well, making this an ideal location for all forms of travel

Nothing to draw attention to, this is a busy central location, but by six pm it quietened down and double glazed windows made sleeping very easy. Worth checking if travelling by car that parking facilities are available, as without, life could be awkward, municipal parking facilities are scarce.

Excellent, very good choice for breakfast. Rooms were spacious, clean and bathrooms great. Location is ideal for a walk to the centre, the Cathedral and local restaurants.

Eggs were lukewarm, cold for my brother. Parking, if you have a larger car, or a low profile car you definitely don’t want to park in the lower floor of the garage. There is a steep slope with an awful ridge that caused some damage to the underside of my car. The fist stay we parked on ground level with no problem at all.The return visit was therefore not as pleasant. If they checked car size at booking this would help.

It was a pleasure to stay here the first moment we arrived when without prompting the lady at the desk said she would find a colleague to carry our bags (big and heavy) to our room. From the it was a absolute pleasure to stay here as the staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The location, room and breakfast were all excellent. Plus the kitchen providing the best scrabbled egg I’ve ever tasted.

Hard to find any fault.

The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The room was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it was immaculate, the bathroom was spotless. The bed and pillows were so very comfortable we had an amazing nights sleep. The breakfast was very good and served in a comfortable dining room with lovely attentive staff. The location was brilliant with views of the impressive railway station and so close to the beautiful cathedral and charming town centre.

All was Excellent.

We arrived at lunchtime on bikes, and the staff were very helpful storing our luggage putting our bikes in a safe place. This allowed us to explore the city during the afternoon with no worries about possessions on inconvenience. It was really nice to be looked after like this. While to restaurant was closed, we were given an excellent recommendation for dinner at a local venue. One small touch - the staff could have made us a booking at the recommended restaurant. Breakfast was exceptionally good, and served early, which was helpful. The local produce was first class.

Restaurant at the hotel was closed and no offer to book at recommended restaurant for dinner was made - only a small thing. Room two floors up and no lift was a minor inconvenience. Some recommendations on what tourist activities to do during a short break would have been good - we saw the son et lumiere at the Cathedral, but only by chance and it was a once in a lifetime experience!

Very comfortable room and excellent hot/cold breakfast. Location within 100 metres of railway station and 300 metres from cathedral, covered market and excellent local shopping.

we reserved a covered parking space which turned out to be in the garage but up a very steep internal ramp to the top level where our car bottomed-out going in, and going out, at the top of the ramp. Parking space number 58 I think - avoid it unless you are driving a large SUV.

Location very central. Buffet breakfast very good with great choices.

Parking - is up the road a little and in an underground car park. Entry is by 1 zapper only that Reception hold onto - so a bit laborious if you left something in your car or were using your car alot. Thankfully we werent. All staff great, apart from one person checking us in. Appreciate our French is minimal and we were relying on their English, but it was a bit abrupt.

The room was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable we slept well after a long journey. The location is perfect opposite the station (although we travelled by car) and walking distance from the cathedral. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we had other arrangements. The hotel offers a secure covered car park which for us was very important. In general we found the staff always very helpful and pleasant. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

The only drawback was the absence of a lift, but we knew about it and the staff helped us to carry the luggage.
