The hotel was fabulous and in a fantastic location. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The spa are is also a must, extremely good! My wife and I had an amazing stay

Unfortunately there was no transparency from Booking.com when we booked our holiday through the app. We were told that the only charge to expect from the hotel would be a ‘city tax’ of just over €26. However when we arrived the hotel insisted on a €2,000 deposit for our stay. This led to a very awkward and tense start to our stay and the money unfortunately wasn’t returned for another 10 days after our checkout!

We had an awkward moment with the senior staff at restaurant where we were not really treated as customers but rather an annoying couple too demanding... 🙄 finally got better towards the end of the meal...not nice ... maybe because our group was composed of Asian faces ???....

Huge ground floor room with every facillity,amazing wet room. massive indoor pool with option to swim outside. Great buffet style breakfast / eggs cooked to order. Staff heipful, language never an issue. No traffic noise, ideal place to unwind

Being built on a cliff, there are many levels, might be difficult for wheelchair users,although there are lifts nearby.

Great location overlooking the sea and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was very well done and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The rooms were rather small and the wardrobe was tiny.

There is so much. Terrific views. Great health spa. Great restaurant. Good parking close on site. But more than anything else staff are outstandingly good. I stay in a lot of hotels and these guys went that extra mile for the guests. Welcome greeting. Special attention from wine waiter. Victor was brilliant. He booked us covid tests for the journey back to the uk and helped us through that and much other help too. Thursday night saw a disco party on the beach in front of the hotel which is free to the guests. It closes at a reasonable time so does not disturb sleep. I will definitely be back.

It’s hard to find anything. The rooms are not large but are lovely and the view from them is stunning.

We have recently returned from a week at this hotel and we had such a lovely time. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the location was perfect and the food great. We actually ate at the hotel a lot more than we had originally intended to as we liked the restaurant there. The spa facilities were great, we had two kids with us who were happy with the pool and the beach. It was a great spot to explore the local area such as the beaches of Il de Rey and the restaurants and shops of La Rochelle. We would go again.

I thought that the hotel could have been more environmentally conscious. There were plastic straws served in most drinks, plastic bottles of water served at breakfast and numerous plastic bottles of toiletries in the rooms. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

We had a lovely room and there was a wonderful party on the beach for hotel guests the night we stayed. Great food and entertainment. The concierge desk was extremely helpful.

We couldn't afford to eat in the main restaurant, though there was a bistro section which was better. Slippery around pool, had bad fall.

Room smaller than expected for a 'superior' room. High-tech & clean lines took precedence over ease of use and helpful information.

due to the design of the property several staircases to negotiate with luggage as our room was at the far end. But the view of the sea from the balcony was worth it.
