The restaurant area had a space for toddlers and kids, but it was on the side of a pool table, which means we had to keep allert for our little one. The swimming pool was really nice with a good temperature, and the sauna was also great, it was warm as it should be! The bedroom was nice and clean and the staf was friendly.

The modern, modular apartments are clean, very new and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, copious towels and lovely crisp linen. The two swimming pools were fabulous, maintained at an ideal temperature. I swam at 10 am and again at 7.30 pm. In the immediate vicinity there are no shops but a five minute drive away there are many large shops including three supermarkets. It is a 20 minute drive to pretty La Rochelle, and a 40 minute drive, over the bridge, to the picturesque Ile de Re. The staff were very courteous and helpful e.g. with parking suggestions for La Rochelle. The whole complex was fairly quiet, which suited us.

On arrival we were shown to one of their original, and hence old , apartments , with tight steep steps up to the bedrooms, which was not the ones shown on the web site. However with no fuss we were switched to one of the new spacious units.

We were travelling with our dog so it was great to have our own garden that we could wander round in and to have our own cooking facilities so we didn’t have to take him to a restaurant, so accommodation wise it was perfect for having a dog who won’t lie still in a bar or restaurant. We did have a drink in the restaurant and the food looked and smelled terrific, I wish we’d eaten there.

We tried to buy a couple of croissants and a coffee for breakfast to have in the room. Apparently this was too difficult, it was either take the full breakfast offering or nothing.

A spacious, new and fresh apartment, everything completely new, with 2 bathrooms, modern kitchen, and spacious terrace. There are 2 swimming pools in the area, ping-pong table, bilard. The sea is around 500 meters from apartment, and a beach with life-guard 2,5 km from the apartment.

Breakfast was in French style, not suitable for people from Central and Eastern Europe - we are used to much bigger breakfasts here in the East. For guests staying for a longer time (we were there 2 weeks), a regular cleaning of the apartment every few days would be a nice idea (cleaning was possible, but on request).

Clean and modern houses/rooms and overall facilities. Nice with private patio. Close to La Rochelle and Îll the Ré and not too far from Bordeaux.

The restaurant was very good but as soon as there was a lot of guests, the kitchen could not keep up and the quality of the food/dishes went down. You will need a car to get around to restaurants and beaches.

Our family ( with 2 teenagers) spent a lovely relaxing week at Cote Ocean. We really enjoyed the pool and facilities. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant and it was also a great option to get takeaway pizza and relax at our place. A very chilled out spot in a great location. We would definitely recommend..

Relaxed family atmosphere. very friendly staff. Great food, enough variety for the 5 days we were there. Convenient for seeing sights in la Rochelle. Can’t wait to go back when all renovations finished. The apartment we were in was brand new, spacious and well equipped. air conditioning downstairs only, so glad we brought fans to keep upstairs cool.

overall I was pleased with the location. building works just finishing but didn’t really disturb my stay. there was mention of one pool being closed but never felt like it was too crowded to enjoy.

The house was very spacious & clean; cleaning service daily with beds made & bins emptied etc; restaurant menu is phenomenal - so much choice - with great service;

only 1 toilet in the house, which was fine for 4 of us but might be a bit of challenge for 6 sharing; kitchen equipment quite basic - cheese grater, large serving spoon(s) would be useful; also could do with a second sofa or easy chair for evening relaxing indoors- but there was absolutely nothing at all to spoil our enjoyment.

Everything was so lovely and relaxing. Food was lovely and the staff always so helpful. Plenty of sun loungers next to the pool(s) and never a problem to obtain some.

Would have been nice to have air con upstairs in the house, but that is being very picky.

Great location, with a nice welcome and good facilities. Rooms are spacious and clean with all you need. Nice comfy beds. Good secure parking and plenty of dining options on site.

I started using this accommodation for stopovers some years ago. The rooms and outside private deck areas are now starting to look a bit tired and in need of refurbishment.
