Easy to find, loads of parking. There are nice little touches in the foyer and common areas and it feels like it has all been considered. The jewel in the crown is the restaurant on the rooftop. The hotel might appear underwhelming as you approach - but the rooftop restaurant really does celebrate the views of the mountains and the city. Perfect at sundown. Good access to an amazing bakery and fresh food supermarket across the parking lot.

It seemed visually underwhelming as we approached, a large truck parking lot dominates all you can see. The building itself is quite bland, but as you get to your room and you look out the elevation makes it better - especially the roof restaurant.

Nice big room, very clean and tidy. Bathroom was large and clean.

We arrived hungry and had chosen this hotel because it had a restaurant attached. Unfortunately it was closed which at 20.00 on a Saturday night was a surprise and a disappointment. We did however find John & Jules burgers close by and that turned out to be a good decision! At the time of writing there are numerous road works around the hotel that made following sat nav instructions a bit tricky, but none of that is the fault of the hotel.

The hotel itself is excellent and the rooms first class.

Breakfast is totally chaotic. The breakfast bar is far too small and one coffee machine means you have to queue. When I arrived the fruit juice had run out, the scrambled eggs had ran out and the jam pots were empty. Plus they had ran out of plates and cups. It’s a pity breakfast is so chaotic because the hotel itself is fabulous. In addition the charge for breakfast was 10 Euro per person. Certainly not worth it when you have to queue and wait for breakfast plates to be refreshed.

The most we liked about this B&B hotel was its location, decoration, comfortable bed, fresh food at breakfast time

The less we liked about this hotel was the small size of the room and we found it a little dusty inside the room. Room was very cleaned in relation with clean toilet, clean bed sheets. However we found a little dust on hangers, table

The beds were really big and comfy. The room was really clean as well.

The bathroom was not as modern as the rest of the room and the hand soap was oddly difficult to use. The sky bar was unfortunately closed as well :(. The breakfast choices were very limited even with an hour left of service so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it unless you’re planning to wake up a lot earlier. The tea station was nice though!

The staff were excellent, very welcoming and informative, they made a great fuss of my dog. The room was clean and comfortable with a separate toilet and bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very good as was the beer. Breakfast offered a good selection although the coffee was rather bitter. Overall good value for money.

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel feels new and is exceptionally clean. The location is handy for the motorways and only 5 minutes drive from the centre of town. We stayed in a Quad room, the twin beds were in there own side room but still within our room which is perfect for families. it was also hand that the toilet and shower basin were separate, lifesaver in a family room. Car park had no height barriers (our vehicle is 2 m ) and well lit.

I would have loved a hot drink when we arrived at 9pm. However the restraint was closed and the vending machines only supply cold drinks and snacks.

Styling was nice. Lovely rooftop bar with live music. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Only one pillow each. Shower flooded and over flowed quickly. Breakfast- no way of cutting bread without handling the whole stick, need napkins to hold while cutting to reduce transfer of germs from hands to bread.

Very comfy beds, smart TV and great staff. Food in restaurant was very good. Good location as we were driving back to Barcelona from Calais. Safe and secure parking with a night watchman. Lovely roof top bar although was full when we tried to go around 9pm.

The breakfast was quite limited and I thought very expensive at €8,50 for anyone over 10 years old. Wifi didn’t work all evening.

The hotel is very good and the vast majority of staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are good with an excellent restaurant and a lovely sky bar. Having stayed a few times, We have probably marked it harsher than it generally deserves, but the balance of the previous visit influences that. We will stay again though and generally recommend it as a great stopover.

The chap on reception is shockingly rude and arrogant. We have stayed at this hotel 5 times and always found it fine. On the most recent stay in June, we were allocated a room which stunk of smoke. On complaining and asking for a. room change, the reception guy refused point blank saying they were full and then became abusive shouting at us as he was too busy dealing with incoming guests. After eventually engaging with the manager, we were moved and upgraded, but it did ruin the stay.
