Superb location in the heart of the village. Set well back from the attached restaurant and all set in the most charming location. Room was to a very high standard, lovely exposed stonework and a very contemporary shower/bathroom. The hotel owner was very efficient, I was checked-in in no time at all and although I turned down the possibility of breakfast I did ask for a cup of coffee each morning and there was no charge for this when I paid the bill.

Nothing. Superb place to stay in rural France to visit the famed wines of the region.

Lovely room in a well converted barn. Very clean and everything well thought out. Plenty of plugs. Quirky. Very good value. Had a lovely meal in the Auberge next door which we had luckily pre-booked as it was full and there isn't anywhere else to eat in the village. After a long drive we didn't want to have to get back in the car. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, cold meats, cheeses, croissants, fruit, yogurts, juices. We couldn't do it justice with being full from the previous evenings meal! Would have liked to stay longer and explore the area more. Interesting Brocante a short stroll away.

The soundproofing between the bedroom and shower-room. A sliding door which didn't shut properly into the shower-room. The shower being open fronted and no matter how hard you tried it was inevitable that the water went onto the shower-room floor. Might cause a problem with damp over time.

The location is great with a restaurant and a wine shop at the doorstep. The room is new and spacious with a very nice and big shower. Breakfast includes a great variety of food and yogurts. Coffee/tea was personally brought by the owner. The small cute village and the vineyards are nice to stroll around and very picturesque. It was peaceful and we didn’t hear much of the neighbours (we were on the ground floor with access to the patio).

The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a perfect wooden beam. Central location and a very quiet area. The hotel seemed new and modern.

Actually, noises from the outside, like closing door and footsteps on the corridor very clearly audible. There is a restaurant downstairs, but the waiters are not exactly polite and service hours are very short, not to mention one always needs to book in advance.

The reception was closed when we arrived. The breakfast service was not what we could expect in France. The restaurant at the hotel only works by reservation. We decided to take meals somewhere else.

Clean, confortable and excellent friendly staff.

We booked three rooms, our friends and ourselves all found the shower try to be slippery when wet. A USB socket would be handy and because the weather was so hot a fan would have been helpful.

The owners were the caretakers. They are very professional, they pay attention even to minute details, the premises are very aesthetic. The owners were also very friendly and accommodating. This is an exceptional place.

Small family run boutique hotel and restaurant in middle of Sauternes. Great and charming clean rooms, warm welcoming owners, excellent restaurant bustling with life in evenings.

Nice boutique hotel lovely room Joe with outdoor terrace. Comfortable bed modern bathroom etc. free bikes. Great location and amazing restaurant on site. Highly recommend the restaurant. Loved our stay.

The property has been renovated to a high standard. Love the industrial feel with good quality fittings. The bed was super comfy and the shower fantastic! Our car was perfectly safe in the parking area opposite the hotel and the restaurant attached, superb. A fabulous stopover on our journey from Spain.
