Our host provided us with an excellent breakfast .We felt very welcome in their home which was absolutely beautiful. Our host recommended an excellent restaurant for us to dine at in a nearby town and rang to make the booking for us as our french was limited.
I dont think there was anything we didnt like. Our host was charming and although her english was as limited as our french this was not a problem.

Our accommodation was amazing. The hard work that had gone into restoring the home was obvious and made it a real wow from the minute we arrived. Our host was so welcoming. We didnt speak much French and her English was very limited but it was not an obstacle.
There was nothing we didn't like. The home and the area were both beautiful.

Large, comfortable and attractively decorated rooms in an enormous family home, planted in a delightful garden and fringed by the vineyards. You are welcomed into the family and offered a taste of the most wonderful local produce (the local wine was superb). The house was a short walk from Barsac (a small village) and its station - itself a short train ride from Bordeaux. I particularly appreciated being able to check in when I arrived early. The hosts were most kind lending me a bike to explore (which I regret I managed to break - sincere apologies). That said, I would recommend a car for exploring the Sauternes vineyards and would also urge calling and booking a visit in advance - dropping in during opening hours just didn't work that well. Also, be willing to practice your French; English should not be taken for granted!

Very nice, home made, premium for the varieties of homemade jams, great company of the lady owner . Nice morning walk in the vineyards around. Beautiful kitchen and living room area designs mixed with together for great modern/revisited vintage feeling
Nothing wrong to report

Such a beautiful place, nestled among the vineyards. You can walk to the town of Barasc, which is just lovely, and has a little grocery and wine shops. Very kind hosts, and the homemade jams at breakfast were spectacular.
There were mosquitoes in the room.

Nice property in a cute little area with views on a vineyard.
There is nothing much I didn’t like about the property. You will definitely need a car to access the property.

Location--near some wineries by foot
As Claire said "welcome to mosquito country" which was an understatement. Love the big can of American Raid (bug killer) on the antique furniture.

Very peaceful location and comfortable room. The breakfast was basic but quite adequate. Hosts were friendly and helpful.
We picnicked in the garden but the facilities for outside use were a bit limited,

Wonderful house on the edge of vineyards. We were treated like friends. Our host was very welcoming. Very quiet and peaceful.
It didn't worry us but it was in quite a remote spot.

What a hidden gem! We loved everything about the property and proprietor! Incredibly beautiful!
Google Maps and GPS did not recognize the address, so we asked people in town!🥰
