Staff were exceptionally helpful in a difficult situation, going above and beyond what I might have expected under the circumstances. All staff were friendly and kind, and spoke enough English to help one who has too little French.

Visitors might wish to use bus or train services. I would suggest that train and bus schedules be available or that staff be able to direct visitors to where these can be found and where main bus stops are.

The breakfast was barebones. Not worth the price, but the breakfast terrace overlooking the river made up for it. Our room was a suite and overlooked river. For the price, can’t be beat. Dry comfortable stay.

Lovely hotel and very modern inside. Very clean, had the family room which is on the 3rd floor. This can only accessed by a lift and then stairs, not a problem for us but not for someone with mobility issues, not in advert. Lovely location.

Advertised free parking, they do not have a private car park. A few spaces outside the hotel otherwise a free carpark up the road. This is reduced on Thursday evening as there is a market on a Friday.

A retro boutique hotel with a great central location and a lock up garage which housed our 4 motorbikes. The garage was a real bonus. Not big enough for a car. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Wanted a stand up in it shower. Don’t like sitting in a bath showering.

Friendly staff that ensured I was in the free city parking. They provided a quality fan! It made all the difference. Bed was comfy. They provided more than just a sheet for a blanket. Great value would book again!

A fan was in the room, which made it comfortable for sleeping. Air conditioning would be even better.

The Hotel Lons is a lovely old place in the centre of very pretty Foix and only a five minute walk to the station. we ate breakfast overlooking the Ariege which was lovely and had a view of the pretty square at the front.

Lovely super fresh pastries at breakfast. Beautiful view from our rooms over the river. Great location right in the town.

We had the breakfast one day of our stay...nothing out of the ordinary...pasteries, bread, butter, jams, ham and cheese, etc.

Some have indicated that the parking was bad. There is only public parking and most of the paid spaces throughout the town are for short periods of time...15 min to 3 hours. The walk to the free parking, where we parked for our three day stay, was about a 10 minute walk over basically flat ground. The WIFI is unsecured and a bit slow. Have to register every day.
