We arrived off the plane from North America, so weren’t completely awake as we arrived early. There does not seem to be a way to drive up to the door to drop off luggage, but I eventually found a place to leave the close enough to get our luggage to the reception area. They held it for us while went to park the car & go for lunch. Our room was ready early, once we completed lunch. Steps to the chateau, the garden. The open air market (Friday morning) was close & a treat.

This old building was decorated in a very french style with painted panels on the walls and ceiling on the entrance and patterned wallpaper in the rooms and corridors. I love that very french style. The breakfast room was modern. Breakfast was excellent with a range of pastries, fruits, cereals, eggs, sausages etc Location was great. The Chateau was very close. We spent most of our time with our family who were camping nearby so we didn't eat in the town. But it looked like there were plenty of restaurants nearby

Antoine was lovely and welcoming checking us in, very helpful in answering our questions, patient with our relative lack of French speaking ability!

Didn’t get a particularly great room choice, would have been nice to be asked for what location we preferred, but understand we were getting a favorable rate for booking with Priceline with short notice

Breakfast was great. Lots of options, including continental-style; american / british style; and germanic cold-cut style of options as well as yogurt & fruit. Location is fantastic -- in the touristy part of Fonty next to the chateau but everything is close walkable distance. Convenient to INSEAD (straight walk on rue de france for about 7-10 min).

Rooms were a little old fashioned in the sense that items like thermostat, electrical outlets, iron, etc could stand to be updated with newer models. Everything worked fine though.

One of - if not the best - location in Fontainebleau, near the Diana Garden entrance to the Chateau and all the best restaurants. The courtyard, common areas, and extended bar were wonderfully decorated and comfortable. The rooms were clean, with a comfortable yet firm bed and modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Quality toiletries were provided. There is a slight €10 charge for the very convent, secured Napoleon parking garage. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Our only suggestion is adding a mirror at the desk for use of the provided hair dryer. Special kudos to the pleasant bartender who made a great Old Fashioned.

Seemed a bit expensive when booking but the convenient location and common areas made it worth the money. We were also disappointed that the restaurant was closed because it looked fantastic, but with so many good restaurants in town it wasn’t a problem

This was a lovely hotel just across the street from the Fontainebleau castle. There were many restaurants nearby which made dining easy. The room was spacious and very clean. I was disappointed that breakfast was not included in the price of our room as it had been in the other hotels where we stayed during our trip - but this is not a big deal. All in all we had a very nice stay there (just one night).

We have visited this hotel for many years en route to visit family in Switzerland. A new cocktail bar has been installed which we would have liked to enjoy but due to COVID we didn't take advantage of it. This is an elegant extremely comfortable establishment, staff are very helpful and professional. Perfect location for visiting the magnificent Palace. Good selection of shops and restaurants moments away. Underground car park very close by (additional cost).

Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Wonderful bed and so comfortable..

Fittings a bit shabby in places. Shower too small to move around in. Heating equipment was either on on or off. Difficult to adjust.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is awesome, just in front of the Chateau and close to all the shopping and entertainment Fonty has to offer. The bedding was very comfortable, the bathroom was recently renovated and they had very good convenience products.

I've chosen that hotel because of fond memories of its imperial inspiration atmosphere and an exceptional breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel was sold 2 years ago, and now the new owners made renovations and innovations, which unfortunately made the hotel, loosing its distinct identity inspired by elegant imperialism. The breakfast from phenomenal becomes just good. The room decorations, which used to have this typically French decorations in toile de Jouy now got some psychedelic colors and exotic flowers - such a pity.

Very stylish and elegant, fits the historical surroundings, spotlessly clean, absolutely helpful and professional stuff, perfect location. The toiletries are offered in the bathroom are from the known French brand, very nice

No electricity outlets next to beds, no space in the bathroom to place your toiletries, the light switcher next to bed works in a way that it cut out the electricity of the whole unit, that we didn't notice and therefore we woke up sweating as airco was also off and none of the electronics devices was charged
