Location is a big PLUS. Only 2-3min walk to Gentilly RER train! Hostel has everything you need, and was clean and well thought out for guests. Plenty of space for socializing, and good eating options outside door of location. I had a cabin room, so it was nice having my own space. Bathrooms were plenty for guests to use, never worried about waiting! Staff keep hostel looking clean. The creative nature of building is an added touch! Last thing, there is a private room to store suitcases/backpacks if you need to leave belongings, only $4 Euros for 24 hour locker, great to have.

My ONLY complaint is that fellow guests were extremely rude when opening/closing their doors. Obviously, that is not the hostel's fault, but I recommend they post signs so guests do not disturb fellow travelers. Maybe remind guests as well when checking in. Oh, the cabins could use a small fan in it when temps get hot, not very good good circulation.

The property was big and clean. The outdoor area was large and they had a big screen up to play the Olympics which was great. The cabin beds in the hostel were a good size (like a double bed) and I loved the privacy the extra space gave me to spread my things out without others in the hostel seeing. Plenty of hooks to hang things up to dry. The cabin had a small sliding window which could be opened during the night if it got warm. The aircon in the dorm was great, nice and cold!

The bed was a foam material which was a bit uncomfortable at times. As much as I loved the privacy of the cabins I found that they took away a lot more of the natural and random interactions you have with your room mates. I was super busy so it wasn’t a big issue but if I wasn’t as busy I would have found it more of a struggle. Also the place is a little out of the way. There is a metro stop but not all trains stop there. If you get on the wrong train all you can do is stop at the station before or after and if before you have to walk through the university grounds to reach it.

The best hostel shower I had in France. There's space to put stuff and a mirror and sink in the same booth The room was good too. Make your own bed. Multiple power outlets USB and plug. A few sacks to put things in bedside. Mirror and a few hooks.Double bed. Keycard entry. Tiny window with lock. It does get kind of stuffy at night of you leave it closed. Location is has pretty much nothing nearby. A few kebab esque shops and other restaurants. Pretty much only good for if you plan to take the RER B later. The downstairs bar/restaurant is a nice vibe. They screened football, there's charging outlets, 5€ beers. Efficient staff

Not really the fault of the hostel. Just know why you pick this place don't expect much around the local area. Otherwise nothing really....a slight buzzing noise in the room...Not supposed to bring outside food in...

Pretty good hostel, with a nice atmosphere. Beds are good and with a curtain, which I always try to search for (give more privacy when you are in a 10-12 beds shared room). RER station right besides.

The only problem, but that's Paris, is that the main transportation is RER. RER is always crowded (much more than the Metros) and it don't run 24h (last one is around 0h-1am). This can be a problem if you want to go out in Paris during the night. But for tourism during the day, it works very well. There are some night buses around, but it is not the easier thing to get/find.

Close to metro train tirect to Paris and all metros. Great food and chef. Lovely staff. Secure key system. 24/7 reception. Lift. Clean with hot showers. Clean bedding and bed. Allowed to sleep in late. Polite cleaning staff. Kitchen to use was very useful. Big windows, great views of Paris and they where open too. Very nice Security guard On a nighy and day bus route. Outdoor area is great. I felt relaxed there. Nice

No air conditioning in cabin so was stuffy and hot had to leave door open to sleep. Cockroaches in kitchen near sink. Possible bed bugs due to a couple of bites after sleeping. Would have liked more low chairs because I could not sit on the furnature as it was too high. The furnature outside was nice though.

I liked the space in the room, the general decoration and the friendly staff. I stayed in a mixed dorm and the beds are well separated, there is curtains for privacy, light and sockets in each bed. The bathroom was very clean.

It's a hostel for young people, teenagers in excursions, and university students. There is a bar just in the main entrance, which I don't have anything against, but it was just not my profile of hostel. Kitchen was a little dirty, but I guess people just don't have manners... nothing related to the hostel itself, just with the public that you will find. :)

The rer B train station (more like a metro) is a 2 minute walk from this hostel, so I dared to return alone at 11pm. The transport system in Paris is very convenient and many places can be reached within 25 minutes via the rer B and other metro lines. The price is lower because of its location but the convenience isn't compromised.

1. The air conditioning didn't work very well, it was more like a ventilator. I often woke up hot at night when the temperature was over 30 degrees. 2. The shower is small and there is not much room to put things in. And it gets a bit messy after people have used it.

Breakfast was over priced. Also, on my last night I didn't feel like drinking anymore, but I put money onto my room key because that's how things work there like to get drinks. And I asked for a refund because like I said, I Didn't feel like drinking anymore and they said no. Uhm I feel like you can, you just didn't want to. Also I wouldn't have put as much money on my card had someone told me I couldn't get a refund, that's how I found out the breakfast was over priced because I was forced to use my money on the card. Unpleasant end to an otherwise lovely stay

The Hostel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities are great, there's plenty of room to just hang out or even work. I took a cabin and it was quite intimate and peaceful for a great price. This is the perfect place for anyone backpacking from one city to another.

I didn't really like how all doors made a clicking sound every time they were opened, this could become annoying at night when you just got to sleep. Maybe some warning for people to keep quiet afterhours would have helped.

Nice hostel with helpful staff. I chose a cabin, bear in cabins are for one person. The beds are big and comfortable (for those loving hard mattresses). The cabin was on a 4 bed dorm, so it was quiet and I got lot of privacy. The bathroom was in the same alley. The are is separated between men and women, leaving a common bathroom area to brush your teeth - there are also bathroom sinks in the shower areas. Each shower has a door- again lots of privacy here. The common areas - bar and patio are nice. There are a couple of bakeries nearby, so it is perfect to get some French pain au chocolat and croissants.

Check out is quite early 10 am. Also, you can leave your luggage in lockers. They cost around 6€. The locker system is a bit confusing, so better ask at the reception- they will help you.
