The hotel is charming. The rooms are small but pretty much the standard in Paris and the spaces are well distributed. The bathroom is tiny but with the necessary. The hotel is very well located exactly at the bus stop of Port d’ Orleans where there are options to take the bus which take you to the main attractions in less than 20 minutes. The personal is delightful and willing to give you very good recommendations. Aurelia was super helpful to explain all the bus routes and the best way to go where we wanted and there was a Spanish girl (I feel so sorry for not asking her name) she was super attentive and helpful with my daughter and recommended us a beautiful garden to visit and it was the highlight of our trip. The breakfast is very vast with eggs and cheese and croissants and unlimited coffee so a great value for your money. I recommend this hotel and if I go back I will certainly stay there again.

Very attentive and welcoming staff, including top-notch cleaning crew. My room gave onto a quaint paved alley way with greenery and typical Paris view on the other side. The room was very comfortable, with air conditioning - not always a given in Paris, and perfect wifi connection. The bathroom was small, but impeccable (great shower!) Close proximity (2 min.) to the main No.4 metro line and 68 bus line which travel North-South through Paris with connections to all major lines, made the location ultra convenient. There is a supermarket open 24/7 literally next door and two pharmacies minutes away from the hotel where you can get your rapid Covid tests without appointments if that is required to travel back home. I was traveling alone, and felt very safe in the room. After a day or so, the hotel really felt like a home away from home.

Please note that hotel is a converted 19e century appartement building. Although well insulated from the outside daily city noises, you could hear some noise from fellow guests talking or walking around. Usually by 11:00pm, everything quiets down.

The room was nice, good space and looked clean. The person at the counter during the morning was very nice and polite.

The evening I arrived, the man that was in the reception was not polite and gave a very bad impression of the hotel, he kept talking over me and gave me the impression to bother him while i was trying to explain my reservation details and when I asked a few questions. In addition, there was a mouse running under the tables of the kitchen, which I calmly indicated and he laughed, saying it was normal as they have a garden and the mouses like to visit sometimes. After this, he asked if I wanted to take breakfast to which I of course said no.

My accessible room was very well spaced and comfortable, with a window towards the quiet, green cobblestone street. The staff was exceptionally friendly and communication was easily done in English. Reception is 24/7 so I felt comfortable coming and going whenever I wanted. The hotel is ideally located right next to the crossroads of the M4 metro line and the T3a tram line, which both grant access to the majority of the lower half of the city via public transport.

For a plus-size traveller like myself the shower in a regular room was a tight fit - but the hotel accommodated me exceptionally well and I had an enjoyable stay in a bigger room.

The staff is nice, they helped us with everything and and their English is great also. The location is great, it is near to the metro, many restaurants and bakeries. The room was clean. The neighborhood is also okay.

Our room was smaller than I expected. The bed was way too soft for us. The floor squeked and sometimes the people were loud in the other rooms.

I have never met such kind and attentive staff when staying at any hotel thus far in my life. I have never felt so cared for. I only wish I had booked it for longer! Every single person working there seems to get on well with each other, and the way management speaks to maintenance staff is something that I wish could be replicated across the world. I know I'm using a lot of words here but really, if you stay here, know you will be taken care of very well, which is worth a lot compared to other hotels! As for the hotel itself, everything was clean and comfortable. The room even had a little balcony!

The only thing to be aware of is the lift is one of those tiny old ones with the manual doors, so could be an issue for those claustrophobic and unable to use the stairs! Is a fun addition for those who enjoy such experiences though. And the location is a little bit on the far side from the Seine, though Paris is so big anyway it's not necessarily a 'walkable' city, so either way you'll likely be taking public transport to various places, so it shouldn't have too much of an impact.

Location is superb for travelers with baby strollers. There are plenty of options going around Paris. There are 3 buses around the corner - bus 38, 68 and 92. Metro line 4 is also around 3mins walk just in case bus in not your option. There are several supermarkets around and restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The room is very clean, huge compared to the other hotels we have stayed.

If there is only something I did not like is the small elevator which gets busy during the day. It can only fit 1-2 person maximum but this is something we already saw in other hotels too.

The staff on reception were really friendly, when I arrived I was greeted by a lady on reception who was really helpful and let me leave my luggage there as I was too early to check in. I came back to check in later that evening and they had already put my luggage in my room which I thought was a nice touch. I was just there for one night but the room was clean and although the bedroom was a little outdated with the decor, the bathroom was very modern. I liked the location, it was close to the metro and round the corner from Franprix, a grocery store.

Great location, near the bus depot (70 meters, several Bus lines starting from there), near the Metro station Line 4 (100 meters), train line T3 (100 meters), thus very easy to travel anywhere around Paris. Reception very warm and full of advices. Parking arranged in the protected private garage just across the street, very clean room, particularly bathroom, comfy beds (not too soft), additional pillows received as requested, great breakfast and very friendly and quick mademoiselle serving there. WiFi good and fast, free of charge. There is even an elevator, although the hotel doesn't have many floors. Quiet street, almost no traffic, no noise, good for sleeping.

We will come again, but I will ask for a room at any other floor than the 2nd. Namely, the Owner thinks that Hotel Virgina looks nice at night with the strong lights that illuminate the walls outside, and those lights are situated at the base of 2nd floor, pointing upwards (illuminating the sky, even in this time of expensive energy!). No matter how well you close the curtains, there will still be some of that light illuminating the ceiling in your room, so choose another floor if it disturbs you.

Amazing location. Clean hotel. They remolded since the last time we stayed. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

I booked a room with a blacony, when I checked in they said no balcony rooms were available and offered me an upgrade. They said the room was larger than the one with the balcony, but our room was on the backside of the hotel and our window faced an alley. I specifically booked the balcony because they face the main street so we could watch the new year's fireworks. I really like this hotel, but I was disappointed about this situation.
