Great location in the mountains but close to La Clusaz. Amazing view. Exceptional staff. The owners are passionate about their business, the wellbeing of their guests, and willing to share any information about their area.

Everything has exceeded our expectations, from the nice swimming pool and table and chairs dispatched for every room and facing the mountains, to the amazing breakfast, with local and delicious food . This is a familial business with a warmth that you can’t find in hotel chains. The decoration is welcoming and traditional. If you want to taste a REAL and TRADITIONAL raclette, this is the place to go to. I have traveled a lot all around the world. This is definitely a place I will go back to. Rare and precious people.

Great location, beautiful view and wonderful hosts!

It’s perfect for families and very close to the ski lifts. However, if you have kids between 3 and 6 and want them to take ski lessons, the hotel is a a bit far away from the ski school. You have to go either by car or take the bus.

We loved everything about the hotel. While it is not central to Lq Clusaz, it is very convenient for ski-hire, ski-pass and access to the lift. What made our stay particularly special though were the owners, Catherine and Didier. They are exceptionally good hosts. The meals are hearty, plentifully and delicious, and they couldn’t do enough to accommodate our vegetarianism. The hotel is informal and relaxed with a comfy salon to relax and play board games in.

lovely owners and staff who were always friendly and helpful. Great food in the evenings (half board) and substantial breakfast choice. if you want a traditional small french hotel experience, come here!

The bathrooms could do with an update. not a criticism of the hotel, but if tyou're staying here, check the times of the buses and TransVal ski lift. We were caught out twice when the ski lift closed early, and the bus back from the town is also quite a chore.

The staff and the food were excellent, so welcoming, always available to help. breakfast is very filling. The location is perfect for intermediate/advance skiers, great for a short break - you can park right outside and the chair lift is literally across the street taking you straight to the main runs of La Clusaz.

The room was neat and cozy but fairly small - fine for a couple but quite snug for two friends sharing. this isn’t a criticism just something for people to be aware of. overall we had a fantastic stay. it is a quiet hotel, great for small groups and couples 🙂

This is our second time staying at this hotel. The couple who run it know good service. The food is lovely and plenty of it. It is across the road from a ski hire show and if you say you are staying at Borderan you get a 15% discount. The lifts to the slope are across the road. The location is great for skiing

The only thing I would ask for is tea making facilities in the rooms.

Excellent food with delicious croissants and crepes every morning. Dinner was always great with large variety of French cuisine. Great location across the road from the Ski Jument ski hire shop and Combe des Jument chairlift and the Transval gondola. The ski bus to town is also closeby. The bedrooms all had excellent mountain views

the decor of the bedrooms were old.
