When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The employee at the reception was very warm and helpful. The room was large, clean and quite exemplary. We needed a little medical assistant and the reception staff helped us very well. Many thanks for that.

Considering that this is an expensive hotel, I feel that a hotel bar and a place to sit down to chat are really lacking. This hotel is quite expensive considering that it lacks all facilities in the lobby. When you are travelling with children and just want to skip out off the room for a little while but not out of the hotel then a hotel bar would be perfect.

Location is top notch and the accent colors used in the room are a nice touch. The staff was also very nice and attentive. The bay window is also a nice addition, but it was kind of difficult to open the glass door that separated it from the room...

There was only one guest elevator to use, so sometimes a line can form in front of it. Also the cafe beneath/beside the hotel had the kitchen door adjacent to the hotel entrance, so if you left the hotel in the afternoon/evening and turned left to head to the beach you got hit by a blast of the smell of the frying oil they were using in the kitchen, which was pretty heavy and even in just a couple of seconds can stuck in your clothes, so you carry it with you for the rest of the day...

The breakfasts were very good, with a good International choice available. I also liked the fact that it had a very secure underground car park.The location is excellent, being only a few meters from the promenade, restaurants, and beach

I didn't quite realise it is essentially a 'bed and breakfast Hotel, so there is no bar, and no lounge, which is ok for summer, but in the bad weather, it might have been nice to have a Hotel, where you could just sit and read etc. It has now become practice all over it seems, to charge you for car parking, on top of your hotel stay, which is an annoying way, of getting more out of clients. Not just a criticism of this Hotel, they are all doing it, but it remains an annoyance

I enjoyed the attentiveness of the staff. In my first room, the water was running red with rust. Apparently earlier that day, there had been construction work on-site. I assumed it was routine maintenance during the off-season. The hotel concierge switched me to another room because I wasn't going to bath with rust-colored water. Additionally the location is GREAT. The hotels is 10 minutes away from the train station. It's also very near some good restaurants and the sea port.

The situation with the rust-colored water in my bathroom was extremely uncomfortable. But the concierge switched me to another room that night, so the situation was fixed. I wish there had been a fridges in the rooms to store one's snacks and fruits. This wasn't the hotel's fault, but after 6pm, the streets of Arcachon are PITCH BLACK. I'm not sure if they turn off the street lights to save energy? But as a woman travelling solo, this felt unsafe. The street lights were also OFF at 6am when I left to take my train. Very scary.

Location was brilliant. Breakfast was good and staff were really friendly. Any questions or issues were resolved quickly and professionally.

The charger for our toothbrush and shaver was broken so could use my electric toothbrush or shaver for the entire week. It couldn’t be fixed and that was a minus.

We had a lovely stay in Arcachon. The room was bright and looked to have been recently renovated with very nice, modern decor and very clean. air-con was very effective with the high temperatures! There was a also a small but pleasant lounge area upstairs which was handy to take some work calls. We didn’t avail of breakfast but instead explored local options each morning.

Close to beach. Staff friendly and helpful

No parking available. Paid deposit for parking ticket so could park for free on nearby streets , but had to park a long long way from hotel and then get our luggage to the hotel! Lots of road works around hotel and near beach.

Wonderful breakfast and nice set-up, very friendly staff, clean room, right at the beachfront, quiet despite being located between restaurants and hotels, comfortabel beds.

Family room was quite small, bathroom even more so, no ventilation in the small bathroom hence both rooms got a bit damp,

modern, airy, very spacious room for a family with 2 teenagers. great bathroom, again really modern, spotless clean and very spacious. The location right beside the beach was brilliant.

Having to pay a €50 deposit to park on the street. I would have liked to know this at the time of booking. Also tax of €12. Just to know these things before.
