the reception staff were incredibly helpful and patient. the room was a large size and clean and comfortable

the facilities are very basic - for example no robes, no coffee machine in room only kettle-little things like that. Breakfast is limited and if you’re able to wait a bit, not worth the price for a couple of croissants and a coffee. the lift is very small can’t fit a large suitcase in with a person aswell so you will have to use the stairs and send your stuff up. there were many flies in our room and we are not sure how they got in as we didn’t have the window open. the main doors closed on Sunday and you need to use a code to get in- this did not work through for my partner and we had to rearrange plans so he could get back in-just a small inconvenience.

slight concern while housekeepers clean the room doors are left wedged open. On the occasion I saw this, the ladies had left the floor (saw them go down the stairs as I got out of the lift) I returned to my room and the door was wedged open for anyone to access with all my property inside. Totally fine if the housekeeping ladies are present but a tad trusting if they need to leave for any reason.

The owners were very welcoming and attentive, the hotel is very well run and offers a good selection for breakfast. The shops are nearby, as well as a great restaurant just next door, and a pretty river a few metres away. A perfectly run hotel - one I will definitely stay in again.

We needed one night stay to break long trip from France to UK. This hotel is perfect for that. Despite the fact that this is rather small hotel our family room was good size. Parking in the hotel (have to book it). One of the cleanest hotels I have been to. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Lovely staff. Literally in the city centre so you can take a 2 hour walk and enjoy charming city of Laval. Just great!

Great hotel in a very good location. Walking distance from to many restaurants . We were also able to park our car on site, which was locked over night so secure. Would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing that we didn't like

The breakfast was very good. Service was excellent. The parking was a real bonus. It was very secure. The location of the hotel was superb as it was only a short walk to our relatives’ house whom we were visiting.

The shower in the bath was a little difficult to operate. Would have preferred a stand alone shower.

Very friendly and helpful staff at all times. Good value restaurant meal and breakfast. Particularly liked the hours for breakfast which allowed a lie in. Excellent location for our desire to see the switching on of the Christmas lights. Very quiet and peaceful room even though we were next to the road. Imaginative decoration throughout the hotel and exceptionally clean.

The only thing we could criticize was the morning coffee and tea out of a machine.

Really good location. Nice comfortable room with tea and coffee facilities. Secure parking for a small fee which was essential as we were traveling on a motorcycle. Good breakfast.

Junior Suite was well decorated and a generous size. Able to park our car underneath the hotel.

Air con did not work.. No night porter. Possibly could have comfortable chairs in a room that size.. Little bit on the dark side (black celling).

I requested a room with disability facilities and it was excellent - easy to reach and well equipped. The hotel is in a great location with restaurants close by. The staff were all efficient and friendly and every request was handled immediately.
