Family travelling stayed at Novotel as a stopover. Staff all friendly and helpful. Games available for children. Ate in Restaurant all staff friendly and food was nice Kids menu was 12 euro chose a main and a side eg fried egg, fish, then chips , mash etc and dessert. My youngest is fussier and struggled to find something to eat, so he had some chips and bits from our plate . Chips were 5 euros. Pool putside with sunbeds but water was very cold. Small outside playarea. Rooms comfortable and clean.

The hotel was a great location for a stop off on our journey through France. The hotel was well situated close to the motorway but there was a tram stop right outside which means you can take a short ride into the city. The hotel was quiet with a lovely park area at the back with sports facilities. The hotel itself has a lovely outdoor area with bar, play area and small pool. The breakfast was good value- €19 and children were free.

There was no coffee in the room- just tea.

Breakfast was way overpriced for what it was, I cancelled my second and third mornings as it just wasn't worth it. Nothing wrong with the food or selection but you would have to eat a lot of it to get moneys worth. there was talk of a "city breakfast" at the bar in the hotel info but it was never offered nor did I see anyone having it so assume it was not available.

Breakfast as above, maybe 10 euros and it would be about right.

Inside was clean, fresh and up to date. Staff friendly and helpful. Dinner was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Family room was a good size, comfy beds and clean.

Only thing for us was the location, not the nicest of areas. We only stopped for one night on our way through, and that was enough for us.

Friendly staff and pretty good facilities

We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night after a long drive.and were very disappointed in ou meal,i ordered the steak which was almost inedible I have never had a worse sreak as that,and only ate a couple of small bites, And that cost me 23 euros,we stayed at the Novotel in Chartre, and everything was perfect, but very dissapointed at Le Manes.

Exceptionally skilled, friendly and hardworking staff team. Excellent facilities with very imaginative decor. We loved the external terrace, swimming pool and gardens. Very comfortable lounge, well-stocked bar. Dinner on the terrace was a highlight, everything about it was good: varied menu, great service, tasty food. Bedroom spacious and very well appointed. Plenty of car parking space in grounds.

We could find no fault with this excellent hotel. Only problem was finding it from the motorway and then finding our way out of Le Mans the following morning!

It was a nice hotel just wasn’t a fan of the location. Considering being a 4 star it was in a high rise like council estate. The staff were amazing there tho. Restaurant food was lovely

The location just wasn’t easy to find and also didn’t like the area it was in. No milk for drinks in room so had to go to restaurant to get any

Booked and arrived last minute to a very Warm Welcome, we has an issue accessing the room but the staff sorted it very quickly. We slept well and comfortably and sadly had to leave swiftly so we couldn't use the lovely outside pool and play area / sitting zone. Next time we will stay longer before our onward Southerly journey.

Probably needed a cleaner running around during and immediately after breakfast as it was a bit 'Crumb City' when we came down at 10:45am. We didn't have breakfast.

It was a last stop on a 2 week tour of Spain and France got there 2pm our room was ready got changed for a welcome dip in the hotel swimming pool which was clean and sunbeds Tram outside takes you into the town of le mans lots of bars and restaurants Overall a good last stop Novotel is a good choice

Over the years we have traveled a lot through France and used different Novotels. The Le Mans Novotel always comes on top. it’s smaller than others but it’s the best. Friendly personal, great food and clean and comfortable beds. Can’t say the same about other Novotels 😏 like Narbonne where the food is ridiculous, for example.

The bath has an awkward angle and the shower function was hard to set.
